Requester re-submitting an approval
Dear All, Is it possible for a requester to re-submit an approval request if the the request was initial denied? For Example: New starter to the company, request is created within the department and sent to the departmental manager for approval prior to it being allocated to IT. If this is approved, the flow works well. If the manager rejects it for a reason such as 'More information is required or not fully completed', can the requester then update this request and resend to the departmental manager

Upgrade to 8.2.0 and Chrome issues
Hello, We just upgraded our instance of Password Manager Pro to 8.2.0. We have noticed that Chrome users are unable to save a new password entry. Specfically the problem happens with Chrome version 46.0.2490.80. This is the error we receive when trying to save a new entry Has anyone else seen this problem or have a clue how to fix it? Problems after migration
hi, We have PMP on old W2003 server. I have migrated it to new W2012 server(MySQL db is local on that server) by using your instructions and bat file. After installation-under services-I could start/stop services, but under desktop icon the system shows me-ManageEngine Password Pro-stopped. And if I start/stop it-it shows the same. Web-console is working. What should we do? what to check? Thank you
PMP - Relink user account with new account in Active Directory
Scenario: User Jane Doe in Active Directory had to be deleted from Active Directory and readded. She used Password Manager Pro before. I deleted jdoe@example.com and readded jdoe@example.com but the user is unable to login to Password Manger Pro now. Is there a way to relink the new AD account with the old PMP account?

SMTP Auth Issue with PMP
Hi all, after setting up a new Password Manager Server i tried to configure the SMTP Settings. But i get everytime no connection to the SMTP Server failure. At the Log files i found following entry: "Exception occurred while executing Send Email action. Please verify the settings for the same:535 5.7.0 authentication failed" But the password is correct, i use it for other Applications like Backup Veeam and Scan to Mail Printer. Export results to CSV with correct LDAP headings so it can be re-imported
Is there any reason why when you export search results to a CSV file the headings are friendly labels rather than LDAP headings? I can see the point of the friendly labels when you export to XLS or PDF, but not on CSV where the likelihood is you need to do something with the results. There are times when you run a report to get the accounts you are interested in but then are not able to do what you need to those accounts straight away in the quick actions. Creating a resource type similar to Web Site Accounts
Greetings, I need to create a new resource type. Much like the Web Site Accounts resource type, we will not be able to verify the password. I would like to create the resource type with the "Verify Password" option grayed out just as it is for accounts with the Web Site Accounts resource type. [Assets CSV Import] Assign Date
Hi all, is there any way to add the [assign date] as a field when importing assets from a CSV file ? I mean, we have an inventory file with old assign dates of assets to employees, but in the current possibility of import the assign date will take the current server date and not the effective date assign date, which is a very disturbing thing which have to be adjusted manualy ! only if i don't know the correct way to import assets on SDP ! any idea please ? thanks to all.
Business Rule Notification
I have a business rule defined which auto-assigns requests to a certain group based on the request's category. This business rule is also set to email the technicians when the business rule is executed (box is checked, technician names are selected). However, when the business rule executes, the request is successfully auto-assigned to the group, but the listed technicians are never notified. All other emails from ServiceDesk Plus are working. We're running build 9107.
Deleted Projects
One of my users has accidentally deleted an entire project that they have worked hours on to configure. Is it possible to recover projects? I checked the system log which shows when the project was deleted but there is no way to recover it from there. I also checked the trash bin but only request can be recovered it would appear. Please, can we have the ability to restore deleted projects in a future build? Thank you, Ryan

AD delegation for Technicians
I would like to be able to assign ad delegation to some sort of group or role instead of individual users. Having to perform delegation tasks on individual users after you have more than a few techs becomes tedious and error prone to touch each user. I would like to update the rights to a group of techs a single time.

What is the best way or architectures to support our telecommuting staff? Do we need a distribution server? or can direct connect (https) handle 150 plus users that are remote? I need the same functionality for the remote users that I have with the LAN users. Is the WAN client available with the professional version or will we need to upgrade? Remove Business Unit Dropdown from Portal Submit a Request form
