User Profiles on ADSSP Server
There are a lot of user profile folders on my ADSSP server. Nearly 3,000 taking up 6.51 GB. These users haven't ever actually logged into the server, just logged into ADSSP. Why would they have a profile created on the server, and are they safe to delete?

Hello, We just activated our Servicedesk Plus on demand cloud (enterprise edition). I have a few questions about the setup of the software. First question, is there a user manual/setup guide for the in-production version of SDP cloud ? Prevent Trouble Alerts from showing up as Active Alarms
Hi All, I have written a script that runs on a remote Linux box that sends SNMP traps to OpManager. I am able to see the alarms fine in OpManager as the Trap Processor is working. However, my company heavily relies upon the "Active Alarms" dashboard and some of the alarms that I'm sending are important, but not critical (Trap Processor defines the majority of them as "trouble"). Unable to start Firewall Analyzer service
We have Firewall Analyzer installed on a server running 2008 R2, it suddenly stopped producing reports about 10 days ago.We initially found that it was running low on disk space and so cleared a few GBs off, but when we try to run the service, it starts for a few seconds and stops again. Anybody come across this? I can supply log files if needed. Thanks
Remote Control will not connect successfully.
I just upgraded Desktop Central last week to Build 92029. The Remote Control (HTML 5) which was working great is now not connecting and stays at loading or when I click connect it will go back to connecting and then will just hang.This is urgent since the majority of the computers we use are remote and now cannot connect to.

Hi, like many of you, I can't get the outgoing mail function to work. I first tried using my Google Apps Account but to no avail. Secondly, I tried the mailserver of my ISP, which I know to work (in other applications). No need for authentication, just use smtp.telenet.be on port 25. nope, not in ServiceDesk :( I changed the servername to ip (195.130.132.10) but still no mails are being sent... Monitors Flickering after installing GINA client on some machines
I am testing this solution but have run into an issue where some clients are causing the screens to flicker and become unusable. Once I remove the client, the flickering stops. This occurs even after rebooting the computer.

Ability to set 'Personal' section as default home page
We recently rolled out Password Manager Pro and realized that the majority of our users will be using the Personal section far more often than the Enterprise section for their daily activities. I would love to see an option to set the Personal section as the default view for 'Home' for my users. Thanks

PMP Service will not Start/Restart
Hi, Having an issue this morning with our PMP service. Keep getting an error in Event Viewer "The Password Manager Pro service terminated with the following service-specific error: %%4294967295" I have tried restarting the service but keep getting the error re-appear in Event Viewer. LDAP group import when PMP is running on Linux x64
I saw a comment (from 2011?) that said the PMP would import LDAP groups starting in the next release. I need to know if that's true when the LDAP server is Windows Server 2012 R2 and the PMP server is CentOS6 x64. If it is supposed to import AD groups via LDAP, then I need to open a support request to have my installation examined and fixed. If it still doesn't work I need to know if it is scheduled any time soon. I'm in the process of moving from the existing CentOS6 x64 stand alone server
Same Account Name Under Resource
Hello, We have ran into an issue that the system does not allow me to add multiple accounts with the same name under one resource. How can I get around this? The way I'm splitting the account is under a different field created called "Account Description" which always happens to be different but the user can be the same for multiple entries.

We are in the process of implementing PMP in our organisation. We use Microsoft LAPS (Local Administrator Password Solution) to manage the local administrator accounts of all workstations and servers. LAPS will reset the Local Admin account password in a scheduled time to a random password and store it on AD (this is done by Group Policy). However, LAPS does not offer the option to keep password history, we would like to see if it is possible for PMP to import the password from the AD account attributes

Hi, when a device has an downtime, we fill in the 'reason' in the 'outage history'. In the 'old' look, you simply click on the Availability graph, and at the bottom, you could enter the 'reason'. Direct link to tab issue in IE
Has anyone else seen the issue where a direct link to a tab is no longer going to the tab, but instead goes to the homepage? So for example, opening up IE for the first time and clicking a link to go to: "http://my_service_desk_server/ContractView.do " won't take you directly to the contracts page anymore. remote control on computers on a VPN
we presently have computers at satellite offices that connect via VPN and have the agent installed. Is it possible to connect to the machines when they are on the VPN for remote support? Presently we seem unable to connect to them despite the machines showing in the asset list with full details. Any help appreciated.
EventLog Analyzer stops running when user logs out.
Hi, I've recently installed the free version EventLog Analyzer onto my Win7 Pro desktop to evaluate. Whenever I logout the system stops running and I have to restart it with the "Start Log360" program on my Start menu. I would've expected this to continue running as a service in the background even when I was logged out. Have I installed this incorrectly or are there default settings that need to be changed? Extra email sent to technician
One of our technicians got an extra email and I think it is a bug. The tech got a 'your ticket has been updated' email when the request was closed, he is not the original requester but was cc'ed on the email that created the request. See the attached pics for more info.
How I can disable the password change by the technician in Manage Engine MSP?
I dont want the technician change his password to login in the Manage Engine MSP, but i dont find the disable option.
