Hi, I was wondering how does Application Manager count Tomcat threads? I've got an issue with the monitor output - see below: where total count is 37 VS output from system console where thread count shows 47 [user@aaa]# ps -eLf | grep java | grep -v root | wc -l 47 No matter what number of threads there is, it is alway +10 against Application Manager monitor output. No 'Undo Typing' within message part of the software
Hi, Was sure I've asked this in past - why is there no 'edit', 'undo' or '<' in the 'Send Notification: Reply to Contact' part of this i.e. I type out a response or email to be forwarded to someone but make an error in my typing - perhaps it's a copy and paste of a bulk load of text and I don't want it in the message any longer - Outlook has an 'Undo Typing' within the emails as below - is it possible to include this in your software perhaps? When I'm in the CMDB and moving assets around the CI categories, I came across an inconsistency. Under the CI called Workstation, I created 2 sub categories called Laptop and Desktop. When I'm attempting to move the laptops into their own CI, my CI names are not listed. Did I create the categories wrong? Please see the attachment.

Top 5 + redundant monitors
Hi, I'm busy lately asking a lot of questions but I have some issues I cannot find answer to anywhere. I've got Top 5 Linux CPU Utilization and many similar like Top 5 Tomcat on my dashboard. Now, the problem is I decided to unmanage a few of existing monitors, which were visible in those Top 5 containers. Unfortunately, unmanaged monitors are still visible in Top 5, which is odd and logically, they should disappear. Is it by design or is there anything that can be done to fix this? Regards

Hi, We have some users in with unknown user problem and these users are imported from the AD, I tried to clearing browser cache and cookies and rename the Extracted Folder under SDP-home/application option. Comunication problem with central and probe
Hi, I use opmanager to monitoring Customer infrastructure. I have in my datacenter, the central installation and i just connected 5 probe. I follow the basic instruction I have two problem: 1 - the alarms showed in the central not are alligned with the probe; 2 - when I reboot the central server, after, I have to reboot all probes because in the central the probes go offline and not retourn online. Have you got some suggestion?
Assets scan site import issue
There seems to be an issue with site not being set after assets scan, both using the script and the agent. The Site value is properly set in the script and manually added to the agent's registry. The xml file being generated does contain the proper site information, so it is probably an xml import based issue. I am aataching server logs, script and inercepted xml file. Hope I can finally get some help with it as I've been battling with this issue since march. Am I the only one? Thank you in advance,

Hello, For starters web hosting isn't my best area of expertise. I have ADSelfService Plus installed and running great. I have a Port forward set up in the firewall to forward traffic to the internal server. The issue I'm having is when I navigate to xyz.domain.com it brings me to the correct place but during the transfer somewhere the url in the browser is converted to the raw IP address. I don't want users to see the IP address but the DNS name. I have both internal and external DNS set up

Preventive Maintenance Tasks
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has come across a problem in Preventive Maintenance Tasks where the "Priority" field is blank and when the Task is created it doesn't pick up the Priority you want (and therefore the SLA) ? We've created an incident template we want to use for our Preventive Maintenance Tasks, Added a Priority for this and it appears fine there, but when viewed and created the Priority is incorrect when the Preventive Maintenance Task is created. Do only Task Templates work correctly
Printer Audit Reports- Some work, others don't
Good Day All, I'm experiencing an issue with the Printer Audit Reports. In a nutshell, some printers are reporting perfectly while others don't report at all. I'm assuming that ME picks up its logs from Event Viewer, in which I can track down jobs from the non-working printers. Any ideas why this is doing this?

I am trying to setup a PMPReset account I can use specifically for resetting of the passwords for all accounts, but don't want to add that account in the Domain Admins members group. I've tried to add specific permissions under the Delegation of Control Wizard on the domain server, but can't seem to find the specific permissions to get it to work. Can you provide a list of the specific permissions that allows an account the correct permissions to change AD account passwords?

I've seen other posts on here about this but haven't worked for me. When we go to the Password Manager Pro page, I just get a redirect (in the title) blank page now. I have rebooted and restored from an earlier backup but still the same thing. Form other posts it appears to do with NTLM2. We did have some servers (VMs) crash earlier this week but every thing is up and going now. Not sure if this effected this or not. I can't get in to check any settings so I'm not sure where to start? Any ideas?
How to reset Passphrase
How do I go about resetting a passphrase for a user if they forget what it is? Update: I was only able to accomplish this by deleting the user's account from PMP, then re-import it again from AD. When this is done, the previous passphrase is deleted, along with any personal passwords saved. I don't even see an option where a user can change their passphrase, or recover if lost or forgotten.

Running Ver: 9221 Under Changes Module, 'Field and Form Rules', 'On Field Change' I set the settings as shown in the attachment and when creating a new change and it doesn't work. Cannot connect to the console
Morning I have setup ADAudit on my server and it is running and collecting. The problem i have is that I have to logon to the server to use it. If i try to go to the address, either http://ip address:8081 or http://fqdn:8081, i get the page cannot be displayed. is there a setting i need to configure? Thanks Wayne

When does the Active Directory Automatic Import occur?
I have scheduled an automatic import of the Active Directory information, to occur each day, but I don't what time of the day the import is initiated. We automatically sync our Active Directory from the HR system at 5:30am and I would like to schedule the import after that, say at 6:00am. Best regards Dave
