WMI Namespaces
Hi there As I understand it, Opmanager shows WMI monitors under the root\cimv2 tree. If that is the case, how can we add WMI monitors for a server that reside under a different tree ? ie we want to monitor Citrix License usage on our Citrix Licensing server. We couldn't fine a WMI counter within Opmanager for this, but have now come across a 3rd party PS script which seems to give us the info we want and it is referring to: Get-WmiObject -class “Citrix_GT_License_Pool” -namespace “ROOT\CitrixLicensing”
Brocade 300 MIB
Hi everyone, We have Brocade 300 switch device. But we don't see this template in OpManager, so we created one. But we can't find any useful SNMP mib file for this case. We want to monitor CPU utilization, Memory utilization and Disk uitilization (basic parameters). Anyone has available MIB files, please kindly share us. Thanks so much for your help. Hien

OpManager - How can I disable trouble alarms for HP printers
Hello, I am seeing a large number of trouble alarms / alerts on HP printers for some simple tasks like "Loading Tray XX with Paper" and I can't figure out where or how to set them as disabled.. There are no Service Monitors, URL Monitors, Performance Monitors (That control this feature), or Script Monitors. There are no notification profiles set, IT Automation, or Applications. I don't see anywhere in the interfaces section to enable Trouble Alerts. One of the printers in question: I don't mind
Xenapp 6.5 Logon Mode check
Hello, we are running a 20 server xenapp 6.5 farm and I am looking for a way to alert when individual servers put themselves in maintenance mode or "Logon Mode = ProhibitLogonsOnly" I know I can run qfarm /load on any xenapp server to get the list of all servers and their logon mode. Can anyone advise on how to create a performance monitor for individual servers using this information? Thanks, Dave

Monitor mapped drives through a vpn
Hello, My Subject looks like this one : https://forums.manageengine.com/topic/monitor-mapped-network-drive We want to find a way to monitor free disk space on a mapped drive through a vpn so using snmp because WMI don't work over a vpn here. I also tried MibBrowser and HrStorageTable doesn't list the mapped drive on the host. Are we able to monitor a mapped drive through a vpn using snmp or anything else ? Best regards, Samuel

Unable to monitor OpManager itself via WMI
Hi, We have OpManager installed on vm (vmware) Windows 2008 R2 based. I'm unable to monitor this server in OpManager via WMI. SNMP works fine. Whenever I'm testing credentials SNMP says 'passed' and WMI immediately (no longer than half second) shows 'failed' like it wouldn't try to connect at all. I've compared snmp, wmi config on that server with almost same vm machine running same os and configuration is almost 100% same. That other machine is being also monitored via local admin account in OpManager
Windows Server 2003 R2 enterprise service pack 2
Hi, I have a virtual machine with a Windows Windows Server 2003 R2 enterprise service pack 2 installed on it. I have configured the snmp service and the community on the server. Actual snmp service state is active and running. The problem is that when is added on the OpManager v11600 and I assigned the credential, in the snapshot of the device says that the test connection was successful but when I try to see the server process it shown this message "Please check whether the device is SNMP enabled

I'll explain: with how many ms of latency and what percentage of packets lost OpManager activates the alarms Alert, trouble, and critical? we know that ALERT = 1 pool lost - TROUBLE = 3 pools - CRITICAL = 5 pools lost but i need to know these numbers to offer this product. Enabling SSL on probe servers
Good day This is in connection with Request ID #2782387 I have someone assist with enabling SSL on one of our probe sites, however I gave him the incorrect location of the certificate (the cert is for our old probe site) and we got a cert error every time we access OpMan. Also, and more importantly, the update to SSL broke all the plug-ins - AppManager and Netflow stopped working altogether. I tried updating them to SSL as well but to no avail. Hey guys I've downloaded and installed the new OpManager v12 and I must say, it is AWESOME! It seems much more functional than the previous version, as well as more sleek looking (just in time for Win10) More importantly, the Hyper-V host monitoring is much better too, with accurate Hyper-V server information pulling through. Op Manger Service Fails to Start on Server Reboot

Pulling system version via SNMP/CLI/WMI
I'd like to pull out value from OS what is system version like Windows Server 2008 R2, Linux RedHat 6.6 etc. and display it as another monitor or value on particular server screen - is it possible using one of available protocols or mib's in opmanager?
Change device IP
Using OpManager v 11.5 Is there a way to change a device's IP address and DNS Name? We have a switch that has its management IP changed, but when I change the IP the value reverts to its original state. I'd like to keep the device and its history without deleting and re-adding it.
Service reporting down after Veeam v8 to v9 upgrade
Hi, We use Opmanager to monitor our windows servers. We recently upgraded one of our backup servers from Veeam v8 to v9. Since this, one of the Veeam services (Veeam Backup Service) is reporting down even though it is running and stable, while the remaining Veeam and other windows services report correctly. So far I have attempted to remove the service monitor and re add it (using the discover services from device option), this had no effect and the service reports OK initially then down immediately
Xenserver: New Virtual devices and changes on old virtual devices not reflected in opmanager
I've configured a Xenserver Pool with some hosts. Opmanager initaly detected all config very well, but now, every time i change memory size, disk, cpu on already detected virtual devices, opmanager not reflect changes. I try to rediscover all host and virtual devices. If I create a new VM in my xenserver is not dectected by opmanager.

Tracking Multiple Router Interfaces as separate Objects
I have a need to Track 3 router interfaces as separate object. The LAN Ip address, Primary vpn tunnel and backup tunnel IP address's All 3 ip address are pingable from my core datacenter. I want op-manager to SNMP poll the LAN to get memory utilization etc but only use icmp for the other 2. For those VPN tunnel IP's I only care about availability and packet loss. Application Manager Plugin
Im experiencing a problem with the Application Manager Plugin for OpManager. I have installed it by following the guide in the OpMan UI. When i try to look under Application in the OpMan UI i just get "Page cant be displayed" errors. As well as the following errormessage: I would appreciate any input on how to resolve this. The plugin was installed with the default values of port 9090. OpMan, the SQL database and the plugin are all installed on the same server.
addEvent via REST API is not triggering notification profile
Hi, I'm trying to add an event via the REST API and trigger a notification profile associated with the device. The below call is actually working, it creates a Trouble event on the server specified. So far so good. Hello, how can i connect to OpManager MS SQL database via ODBC? How should i configure "db manager"? I set up ODBC data source - it works fine. But i don't know how to configure OpManager to use it.
Update switch IP address
Using v11.5 We have changed the IP of a managed switch. When I update the IP of the device and save, the IP reverts back to the original and the DNS Name doesn't change. Can I update this information without deleting and re-adding the device?
Intergrate OpManager with Servicedesk Plus
Hi there, OpManager build 11600 I tried to integrate it with SDP by going to Admin > Add-On/Products Settings > ServiceDesk settings I've provided all the fields and also the sdp.keystore file as requested. When clicking on the Test Connections and Save button, it showed an error: Check for service running at https://server.domain.com:443 Any advice?
Unable to change to a classic UI - When trying to select a particular theme I get "The specified URL is incorrect." error.
Hi, I have recently applied a service pack which upgraded build 11300 to 11600. Ever since the upgrade I am unable to change the theme back to the classic UI. When trying to select the theme (either through the Jump To menu and in the Settings) I get the "The specified URL is incorrect" error flashing on the page on a red background. I am also unable to see any of my monitoring data in the APIClient UI. Any ideas?

Problems with OPManager with vCenter Server Appliance & vCenter on Windows Server
I have a lab enviroment with two vcenter ( vCenter Appliance & vCenter on Windows Server) When i add the vCenter Appliance to the OPManager successfully i can get more information and navigate trough my ESXi host and get information like vmnic, datastore, process, etc. but in other hand when i add de vCenter installed on Windows Server the OPManager cant get the information about my ESXi Host only the IP and Names nothing more.

I'm trying to setup my company network to use OpManager Free version for now. I'm using Snmp for the windows servers monitors and ssh for the Linux machines. I see this option "login and password" when I dealing with windows machines. I was trying to put the password like administrator and "password", but it was not working. So then I used domain\administrator and "password", but the monitors still are not working. Could somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong? I don't want to use snmp with my windows

Hi, I'm at a loss, I want to (for a POC) install OPMager, ApplicationManager and ServiceDesk Plus on the same server...Windows. Any advices? Which to install first?
