Tracking Multiple Router Interfaces as separate Objects

I have a need to Track 3 router interfaces as separate object. The LAN Ip address, Primary vpn tunnel and backup tunnel IP address's All 3 ip address are pingable from my core datacenter. I want op-manager to SNMP poll the LAN to get memory utilization etc but only use icmp for the other 2.

For those VPN tunnel IP's I only care about availability and packet loss. Sometimes when I add in the object it says it is accepting it as an unknown, the screen says object added but then when I search for all I get it the single LAN object. Any ideas on why op-manager is acting this way? We are running 11.600

There must be a way to do this so that I can have op-manager ping the IP address separately
