What is causing or suspect for this type of message.? ID=107 Source=Schedule and Delivery Processor Type=1 Message=Schedule and Delivery Processor cannot connect to the report server database.

snmp trap receiver unable to revceive trap on linux box
OpUtils 3.2 run on the Linux box (Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant), 2.6.9-5.ELsmp). It does not seem to receive the traps (or unable to display?). The jre running on the box is jdk1.5.0_05. Do "netstat -nap" and shows it is binding to the port 162 with the ipv6(?). # netstat -nap |grep 162 udp 0 :::162 :::* 3820/java But on the same Linux box, the net-snmp snmptrapd (a C program) is able to receive the traps from same deive: # netstat -nap |grep 162 udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:162 0.0.0.0:* 3784/snmptrapd
Report Time Window 8-8
Hi, is the time window 8-8 including weekends? If yes, is there a way to avoid it? We need a report over business hours and without weekends. If i can't get it out of OpManager, is there a way to get the data to excel or so to recalculate it over the week without weekend? Thanks Frank
snmp traps arrive on 162 but cant be displayed
Port 162 is opened upon opening OpUtils3.2 (otherwise ICMP destnation unreachable is sent), but the refresh button will not display them. Hello all, I am very interested in one feature : *  Make reports graph on multiple devices. For example, I would like to generate graphs regarding CPU or RAM utilization of all the servers or an other category. I know, it is already possible to create custom monitor, but only for one device. It is a restrictive and frustrating feature. I think this functionality will be very interesting for a lot of people. And to finish, it will be fantastic to include it in the new "schedule report" feature
Dell PE & HP Monitoring
Hi all. I have a couple of Dell PE and HP ProLiant servers to monitor. They all have theyr managing application installed so they send SNMP traps correctly. I can connect and monito via SNMP CPU, MEM adn HD space. Do I will receive alerts when a Drive in RAID will fail? I have downloaded from Dell all the last MIBs. How can I use them? Custom monitor no graph
Hi, I had created a custom monitor but he graph shows me only the NA. I had tested with the the "test monitor" button and it shows me "The Monitor responded to the test request". Anyone have any idea how to solve it? Thanks
Any way to eliminate status messages from some device groups
Hi, I get tons of Attention, Trouble, Critical messages from desktops simply because users shut them off at night. I would like to monitor desktops for certain SNMP and WMI info only, without the constant status messages. Is there any way to disable just the status info? Thanks, Jim

When I enter our external SMTP email server, I get this message when sending a test message Invalid Addresses; nested exception is: class javax.mail.SendFailedException: 504 <test@opmanager>: Sender address rejected: need fully-qualified address Is there a way to make it test@opmanager.com??? Network Discovery problems
Is there a way to make opmanager automatically know that some equipment are switches instead of dumping them into the desktop group where I have to go and manually change all them back to a switch.
Every week, a subset of my devices get unmanaged!
Hi all, Every Friday, at about 17:00, some of my servers get unmanaged - only some of them, and only servers - no other categories are affected. The servers are all fully operational at the time. Are there any circumstances under which OpManager will unmanage a device? many thanks, alec

Problems with SNMP
I am running OM 6.0.6002 on Windows 2003 R2. I have configured "SNMP Parameters" in Admin menu. Now, I am trying to add Windows 2003 host for monitoring (throught "Add device". And OM shows, that this is not an SNMP enabled device. But when i re-enter SNMP community string manually in the device properties it works ok. My question is: Should I manually enter SNMP community string for each device? Or this is a bug? Thanks.
When will N/A on interface snapshot page get fixed?
Opmanager seems to be a nice program but for the $1500 I paid for it I am wondering just when the snapshot interface/traffic monitors issue is going to be fixed. for example, I have desktops/servers, etc setup and being monitored. On the devices snapshot page there are values listed for traffic TX, RX, etc. When I select that interface snapshot page I get a page that shows me a graph for interface utilization but there are N/A listed for the RX/TX graphs. I can't seem to find where I can see what reports I have already scheduled in Opmanager. I thought I scheduled two different weekly reports but only one of them seem to run. Where can I find out what reports have been scheduled?
issues changing backend from mysql to ms sql

Memory utilization on Solaris
Hi, I'm running OpManager and i have some Solaris 10 servers. I don't have notice particular problem except OpManager tell me the memory is (always) used at 100%, which is not correct. I don't know how OpManager compute the value, but seem there is a trouble.
Print Server
Hi I have been searching for someone who could help me setting up my Monitors for the Printers. The thing is that I have a Print Server (HP 500x) and when I manually add it to the OPManager (with it's IP) it seems to be added as a printer. Then I don't know how to add the printers connected to the ports of the print server. Please can you explain me how to configure the Print Server on my OPManager. I will really appreciate if you do it step by step... I am kind of new doing this configurations.
speed difference betwen opm and netflow

Switch port collisions
Hello, I have a question concerning switch monitoring. I had +18000 collisions on a FastEthernet interface (0/24) from a Cisco catalyst 2950T. So I cleared the counters on the Cisco switch and checked those counters again a while later. The switch shows me at the moment that there are +-88 collisions on that interface, but OpManager still tells me (a few polls later) that there are +18000 collisions on that interface. [ I'm using the vendor specific monitor > Cisco > Interface collisions ] Is this
monitoring wrong network
Hello, I'm testing opmanager 6.0 evaluation copy and i like it, even though i would want some things different (but one can not have everything he wants ) Our network is pretty extendend with several sites that each have their own network address, but i only want to monitor the x.y.5.0/24 (site A) network. Today there suddenly appears the network x.y.4.0/24 (site B) on the left under "Network views", when i click it i get to see only 1 computer. That computer was in the x.y.5.0/24 network yesterday

Custom Monitor not working - Please help
I am having a real problem in getting custom monitor to work. It is appending ".0" to the OID I specify causing a failure.. Below is the OID for "Memory Utilization" on Cisco devices present in the "Resource Monitors" section and it works just fine.. (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.5.1*100)/(.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.5.1+.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.6.1) However, when I setup a custom monitor using on of the above OIDs it fails, very likely becuase of a ".0" appended at the end. e.g a specified OID of ".1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.5.1"

We there every be the ability to backup the config of a Cisco switch or router. Maybe, have the ability to schedule a backup. If not in opUtils, maybe in the Opmananger product. We currently use both products.
Custom Monintor is changing the specified OID
I am seeing a probelm in OpManager 6.0 when adding a custom monitor for my Dell PowerEdge server. The probelm is when I create a custom monitor using the OID obtained from MIB Browser, OpManager is appending a ".0" to the OID. e.g I am creating a custom monitor "ifOperStatus.65540" to view the operational status of my GigE interface on the poweredge. the server dont start

Interface Utilisation Not Working :(
I am monitoring a Cisco 2801 Router which is connected to a 2Mbps Leased Line. On other monitoring software I have been trialling, this link speed is reported correctly and therefore the Interface Utilisation is correct. From OpManager the link speed is not reported and therefore my Interface Utilisation is not being shown at all. Any ideas? Thanks.
Exchange 2003 monitoring generates excess network traffic
I have noticed that network traffic between Opmanager server and remote Exchange 2003 servers is about 3-4 Gigabytes a month per server. I find that this is rather disturbing as monitoring almost equals SMTP traffic. Can someone explain what is generating this kind of traffic and if there is anything that can be done to reduce it without losing benefits from this add-on. Thanks
