Blackberry mib alarms not clearing

Business Views
Is it possible to set a specific business view as the homepage per user? I would like the user to Have access to multiple Business Views, but I only want them to see a single Business view to begin, and then within the Map we will link to the other business views. Is something like this possible, or will the user always see the list of business views at the home page? Thanks Shaun
TFTP y Config Manager for other devices
I have 9 router ENTERASYS, and i like to manager the configs for this with the OPUTILS. The TFTP server accept this configs, but i can�t to compare the configs or upload the config to router. ENTERASYS is a mark of router important, have many functions similar to CISCO.
OpManager 7.2 doesn't show names in "Current connection
We try to get "Current Connections" report from Cisco CSS. In the attached charts the port descriptions sometimes are not shown. It shows OID of the objects for long strings. I also attached the SNMP response from the same device - it shows all object names. Do you have a resolution? Thanks!
ESX Monitoring and Performance
When snmp is used for monitoring ESX hosts, it appears that the utilization monitors for CPU, Memory, etc. are monitoring the usage by the ESX operating system and service console rather than the whole ESX server. Is this true? For example, my ESX server has 32GB of physical memory. I allocated 700MB of memory to the service console when I installed ESX. In OpManager, by default in the asset details, it listed the memory as 768MB in size when OpManager detected the server. Any info would be greatly

First of all, thank you for your continued support--overall, from my perspective, it's always been very good. I'd like to offer a couple of suggestions that would make OpManager much more useful to us, and hopefully to others. . . 1. Is there a way to change the Alarm Escalation module so it's more useful? See Watchguard Firewall Information in OpManager
Hello, We are using the newest version of Opmanager, now I want to integrate our firewall over Firewall Analyzer. I installed Firewall Analyzer on the same server. Its working fine. Then I was under Admin->Tools->Add-On/Products Settings and added the Firewall Analyzer, it worked. But how can I now see the Analyzed Firewalls. I tried to add the Firewalls in OpManager with the same IP Addresses like in the Firewall Analyzer, but it doesn't show any of the data from the Firewall Analyzer. What exactly
device IP address will not change
Hello There, I have some devices I've set up that refuse to change IP's. Although the device displays the changed IP on screen, using the ping or traceroute from the menu clearly shows its original IP is still being used. I can confirm this by looking inside the manageddevice table in the database. the actual device name is the old IP address, and there also seems to be a IF- entry for it as well. I assume thats its interface. Please tell me how I can force this change?
Devices is up but OpManager displays down
OS: Win XP Software: OpManager 5 When I add networks/devices to monitor, discovery is successful. All services are detected and up, devices too. But after a while (I think after the next poll), devices are displayed down (servers) and sometimes two or three polls missed (but next poll, devices are down). But when I do a snapshot on a device supposed to be down, all informations are displayed: interfaces, services (shown down while they're up), cpu load, memory, ... All those informations are correct
Polling to follow a schedule?
Hello, It's pretty easy to schedule polling of a device; in fact, it's done for you when you add a device. However, I have several PCs that I'd like to monitor, but would only like to poll during the day, 6AM-6PM. Is there a way to set this? Thanks, Matt

Downtime Scheduler won't set machines back to managed once scheduled end time has been reached. I have cleared all my downtime schedules and re-created them with no new results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running build 7200. Thanks, Jorge
monitoring devices behing a firewall
I have several servers and switches behind a Netscreen NAT'd firewall. how do I monitor the switches and servers behind that firewall? I tried to use a port forward to forward a SNMP port of 1610 or something to the 161 of the internal server but when I try to add that device OM thinks that I have already added it (the firewall itself) and will not allow me to force it? any ideas? Device discovery
After installing OpManager V7 Build 7200 I tried to perform a discover of devices using a specific range of IP address. I used the format where the octets did not have leading zeros, example 10.10.10.1, but this produces an error indicating invalid number. Using 010.010.010.001 works. once the devices have been discovered and imported, I then tried to import them into the user defined category and noticed that even though the IP address in the list to import was of the format without leading zeros,
Filter out notifications
Is there any way to configure OpManager to not send notifications for specific event log evnts? We run a couple of terminal servers (windows server 2003) and we get bombarded with warnings and errors regarding printers and the drivers for same when people log in and out of them. These users require some of their local printers be allowed, but most are not. I would liek to be able to tell OpManager to send me notifications of all event log events EXCEPT for thes specific events related to printer

Snmp traps from HP Compaq server not displayed properly
How can i get varbinds in Snmp traps from compaq / HP Insight Storage Agents to resolve to human readable names. With older mibs the names resolved, but SNMP traps ended in the unsolicited traps bin. False partition threshold violation alert on Opmanager

OpManager not showing ASA Traffic
I currently have OpManager monitoring my Cisco ASA 5550, but the only thing that it will not show is the traffic across the interfaces, it shows only N/A. Firewall Analyzer will tell me how much data is going across, but for some reason OpManager won't. I have the SNMP credentials and CLI login set correctly too.

How come updates are no longer shown on the Website?
I noticed that on the website http://manageengine.adventnet.com/products/oputils/service-packs.html updates are no longer shown. I know that build 5024 at the least is available but I can't find anything later than 5001. Was the updates relocated somewhere else? :?

Add annother application requiring MySQL
I want to install another application on the same server running OpManager. It too, requires MySQL. Server is W2k3 SP2 The person that installed OpManager does not know what user ID or password he used to create the MySQL instance. Apparently we need this for the new application. Is it the same as the user ID & password for the admin account in OpManager? How do I connect to MySQL? Thanks
Server Resource Monitoring
Hi All, I am trying to setup some reporting for my Executive unit, on the health of our network. I have all servers configured to use either WMI or SNMP monitoring, for Server, Disk and Memory utilisation. The default reports use a green, yellow and red system for resource utilisation. We have no custom thresholds set, for CPU, Disk or Memory. The standard reports use yellow for > 60 and red > 80 for example for memory. My question is, what is the simplest way to change the metrics on these reporting

Hi, I'm new to opManager world (only have known it for a week). Yesterday I tried to add our switch 3com 7700 but had no luck in grabbing its performance. I already had a bunch of MIB (that other guy in this forum had claimed it to be 3com7700 but I have no idea how to use them. Today I added another device - a cisco catalyst 2960 switch - but opManager categorized it as Desktop (Type: unknown). Is there a source that can lead me into how to use opManager? Blank alarm won't clear
One of our devices has an alarm, when I click it I see nothing so I can't clear it. I've restarted OpManager service a few times with no luck. Any help with this annoyance?

Switchport mapper with L3 switches
So our switches are L3 vlan routers. (Standard Cisco 6500's). I need to add them to the 'switch' category in order to use the switch-port mapper feature. Got that. But, they are the routers as well, which is needed to resolve the ARP/IP address mapping for the mapper application. ...I can't have them in both categories. Is there a way to make them be able to be listed as a router as well? Thank you.

Response time monitors
Hi all, I cannot figure out how to get a device to generate an sms/e-mail when its response time exceeds its threshold. I set the value on the device by editing the response time. When I try to add a notification profile for the device, I expand 'when any [selected...] Threshold rule is violated' However, when I click on selected it says that no thresholds have been defined. Switchport Mapper Deletes Monitored Devices
I tried to use SwitchPort Mapper. It didn't list any switches, even though I had many added. I'm guessing it only thinks devices in the "Switches" category are switches. How do you use SwitchPort mapper on switches that you define in a custom infrastructure? It should allow you to choose ANY device you add. Since it didnt list any devices, I just tried adding one (it was already added under a custom view), but it said the device did not exist. Then I went back to my view and lo'and'behold, the device
