Bug in process monitor?
I've run into an issue where we are monitoring the number of a specific process on a Windows 2003 server. Initially we set it up to monitor for 100 instances of said process, but now need to monitor a higher count. Unfortunately, when you type anything higher than 100 in the "Instance Count" "Value" field, it comes back with an error that the number must be equal to or less than 100%. I'm guessing it's just a coding error and the field checking algorithm was mistakenly copied from the fields above,
rediscovery doesn't work for interfaces
Hello Gents, Interface descriptions were changed on the switch. I tried to rediscover interfaces. OpManager found changes, I applied 'add' button, but there were no changes. All descriptions are the same. I can delete an interface and add it again. But it deletes all statistics, that's not good. I see these troubles on 30 (!!!) cisco devices. Also I have troubles with Cisco 6500. I re-added this device. OpManager didn't recognize the box. I added a custom OID into template and it was discovered.
Adding MSSQL Server Monitor
When trying to add the monitor to multiple servers I receive the the following error. "80041010 - Specified class is invalid. Try running 'wmiadap /f'(For Windows XP and 2003) or 'winmgmt /resyncperf'(For Windows 2000) command from the monitored device. Problem adding device
Hello I have a problem adding a device. I receive the error message: Entries for the device are either partially added or removed. Is there a way for me not to go to the Jump To, to access the Service desk, the device Expert and the Netflow. When I am in Opmanager I have to select the Jump To and then access the other plugins, is there a way not to do that. Also when I do that it logs me out of Opmanager and then I have to re-log back in.
Error adding notes to an alarm
We are on build 8006 and we are now having issues adding notes to alarms. If a new alarm comes up and there are no existing notes, we can successfully add one new note. However, if we try to add a second note to any alarm, we receive the following error: "Unable to Add Note some error occurred". We have tried doing a db repair and restarting services. I tried searching the forums, but could not find anyone else reporting this error. Any ideas?

Response times and Alias Names in 5028
I have requested this back in April of this year but wanted to take another stab at it to see if you might consider doing the following : 1.) It would be helpful to allow the network monitor list to be sorted by alias name. 2.) When sorting by Response Time, the list is being sorted on an alphnumeric basis when it should be sorted on a numeric basis. 3.) If the system cannot report patial MS then there is no reason to have the response times shown as 4.0, 3.0, 2.0, etc. where the tenths field is

Is there anyway to tell if a switch supports the bridge MIB? I have WS-C4948-10GE configured, but the application isn't show any MAC addresses listed on any port. Thanks,
False Alarms
I'm encountering a problem where OpManager reports that ALL devices are down and sends alerts for all devices. This has been happening usually once a week, but I can confirm that no lines are down in the datacenter to cause a loss of connectivity to all sites. When I check the ping monitor, there are no lost packets during the time when they are reported as being down. Any suggestions?

CLI Login Issue
I have an Avaya Call Manager Server that is essentially running Red Hat Linux ES3 that I have a problem logging into for CLI monitors via SSH. The issue is that this device requires an extra step at login to set the terminal type that I cannot seem to encompass within OpManager. We are running Opmanager 8 with the most recent patch with a Windows 2003 Server, MSSQL database. I have attached screenshots of the credential settings for the device as well as two screenshots of the actual login process
Data Not Collected Errors
OpManager, or the response from the server, occasionally misses device polls, setting off alerts within OpManager. Is there a way to set this so it'll take 10-20 misses before it shows the Yellow error message within OpManager. I have to spend too much time cleaning these out when its only one miss every once in a while. thanks.

monitor real-time Traffic and Bandwidth
HI, I turned on the Router and Switch SNMP credentials and the test gives me the ok on all. When active, on Dashboards, graphs of the monitoring of Traffic and Bandwidth active work but if the collection in realtime for a moment I see the graphic and then the widget closes with an icon on the left undefined. So, do not seem to monitor traffic and bandwidth real devices. Then if you click on the particular device, even if enabled on the SNMP devices, I can not make the charts compqrire temperature.
Interface utilization
I would like to request that bandwidth utilization for interfaces shows the last polled utilization as it used to in previous versions. Im not sure when it changed (I have been using opmanager since version 6 and maybe even a little of version 5), but when bringing up the dashboard or when in list mode for routers, it used to show the last polled utilization. At some point during version 7.x I believe, it was changed to show averages for the day. That is totally useless as far as I am concerned.

Device Info (connection to SD+ asset details)
I have added 2 serves in the assets section of ServiceDesk Plus In Opmanager I can link to one server but not the other. What is the connecting parameter. I was thinking that as long as the name is the same they should be related however this is not the case as the asset details (in SD+) and the name in Opmanager are the same but they cannot see each other. When I click on device info in Opmanager I get a message that device has not been added to SD+ or the SD+ service is not running (it is). Any

OpManager 8 and Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit. I try to start the apache service and get this: Please see file attached as your forums had a fit with the copy and paste from terminal. I know it needs a linky so that libaprutil etc etc is seen in the right place, but I do not know where to put said link. Service will not start, so there is nothing for the rest of OpManager to link onto when it tries to start.

Hello, I created the code to load the map from Google. I added the device on the map in Italy, but every time you reboot your computer and open Opmanager 8 and open the maps, google map, I open the map from America and not from Italy where there are my device. Disk Utilization
I'd like to monitor free disk space but as a percentage rather than an amount. I'd also like to set different thresholds on different disks ie. threshold on C: drive would be 10% but D: drive would be 20%. Is this possible.

Hi, annoying issue- I have bandwidth and traffic widgets on my dashboard, and whenever the page refreshes, all the graph data is lost and it starts over. Can you please make the "live" widgets retain data over page refreshes?
Many "Request Timed Out" Alarms
OpManager 8 (fresh install) Installed on Win2K3, MSSQL Hardware: Quad core, 4 GB RAM We are receiving a lot of SNMP time-outs for a handful of our servers. In some cases, they are servers that see little to no utilization. i.e. Dev/Test servers, etc. At the moment we are currently monitoring about 140 servers. Our Event summary on the dashboard indicates 1780 "data not collected" warnings. Most of the errors indicate the following alarm conditions: Data not collected for PartitionWiseDiskDetails:Error:
