Exchange 2003 information store size incorrectly reported
Build number:8722 I have set up the Exchange dashboard on my Exchange server. I wanted to monitor the exchange database size. I updated to build 8722 which allowed me to add used disk space as a monitor, but it only reports the size of the EDB file, not the combined size of the EDB and STM file which Microsoft uses to determine total Exchange database size. Can you write a patch to make this monitor count both files to give an accurate indication of database size?
CPU/Memory usage as per feature
Do you have some data that if i enable some service in Opmanager how will that effect the CPU/Memory usage. I have idea about the number of interface/ number of device, are there some more which affects performance of the server. Suppose if i change the polling interval/have many notification profile/ monitoring errors/discards etc.
Easy User Access to Monitors and Thresholds

Can disk utilization be displayed as MB free vs % used?
Is there a way to display a server list with drive space available in actual MB rather than a %? Right now the servers Infrastructure View displays only CPU% and MEM Utilization%. I'd like to create a new view that let's me display MB free on C:. That or add some sort of Top 10 to the Dashboard that shows the C: with the least amount of MB free.
Theshold values gone.
I don't see the threshold values any more. All the thresholds values are disappeared. When I look into the detail, all the Threshold alert value and the rearm value are gone.
Thresholds - all lost over night
Hi, Something happened and we have lost all our thresholds for all devices. The thresholds are not present anymore in the templates. This has happened for all templates in the same time - the standard ones (cisco, windows 2003, all). They are all missing - those built in the original templates but also those modified / added by me. Monitoring cluster ESX 4.0
Hello, we have a ESX CLUSTER. When we try to discover one nodes of the cluster, throught the "Add New Host" button of the Virtual Devices Infraestructure view, the application reports an Error, and the device is not discover. Does opmanager supports ESXs cluster? How we can monitor these types of devices? Thanks
Alarm Screen Options
I want an option to e-mail the specific alarm from the alarm screen. I would be nice to be able to select "e-mail alarm" and send it directly to the responsible tech or even into my Service Desk, not just automatically.

Hi, I am new user of Op Manager as recently i have configured the 4 Cisco routers and 2 switches on OM without any error and i have enable SNMP on router. but in windows Desktop i am facing some problem its not showing Graph Report CPU Memory and disk Utilization on Dashboard and how can enabled SNMP on windows as i have started the SNMP services on desktop but no result.In Op Manager Credential Setting i am choosing Public and other but problem not resolved. can any one help on this regards, Thanks
WMI Monitoring is very probelamatic
Hi Opmanager Support. We are monitoring a few Windows devices using WMI. Import devices and DB
Hi All, We have 1 Prod Opmamner setup and one more for QA. We have trial license on QA. I have just setup this environment. In order to replicate the same scenario, What all should i import from Prod to QA? Also i dont want all the notification profiles to be imported (otherwise there will 2 email triggers for the same alert) instead a common test profile has to be set up for all the devices. Using Net Send for alerts
I am trying to send alerts via net send using a notification profile. I have set it up as I think it should be, but it will not test the profile correctly. The test never finishes. The attached picture shows the settings I am trying. Does anyone have this working or any ideas? Thanks Tim
Router Functionality?
Does anyone know what the "Routers" are used for in OpUtils? I know what a router is and how it works ..... just how does OpUtils utilize this device? Maybe the better question is: What information exactly does OpUtils get from a configured "Router"? Please be very detailed ..... The underlying reason is that I am trying to find out where OpUtils gets its infromation for IP<>MAC assignments because I am missing many of them. I would assume it gets this information from the ARP table in the Switches
Unable to add the Criteria when adding notification profile
No matter what device I try to add a notification profile to, and no matter which criteria I use, I get a "Unable to add the Criteria" This happens across the board. Any ideas on the cause of this? Thanks, Marc
Wrong time in Alerts
Hi, We are getting the incorrect times in alerts sent to us. The time on the server running op manager, plus the time on the server being alerted on is correct. We did notice that the time on the 'real-time interface view' is incorrect. Can somebody please let me know how this can be fixed. Many thanks.

Adding twitter account not working
Hi, We're having problems adding a twitter account to OpManager (Build 8721). We created a twitter account soly for this purpose and tried adding via Admin -> Twitter Account Settings. I enter the twitter userid and password and hit save and OpManager just keeps loading forever (I had it loading for 2 hours yesterday without anything happening - no errors or confirmation that it's saved). I've also made sure OpManager has internet access etc. Any ideas what could be wrong? Regards, Jan
Adding vendor monitors for a Dell server
I have a number of Dell poweredge 1950 servers that I have setup in opmanager using the "windows 2003" device profile. This is working fine however I would like to get some more detailed monitoring such as tempurature, fan /ps failure. Is there an outline or step by step instructions on how to accomplish this? I downloaded a MIB from Dell but i'm not really sure where to go from here. any help would be greatly appreciated. I should add that I have snmp up and running and it passes the credential
Problem with Business view
Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with a business view. When I click it on from within Maps > Business view, I get the error message "No Infra Structure View found with this name." I try to create a new business view with the same name and it lets me save it, but I still get the error message. The business view name in question is "Charlotte". Environment monitor
You can use the OP to monitor temperature and humidity with a monitor via SNMP the Comet System Model: T3510? The same is a mini webserver of Lantronix, but when you start the automatic search it detects only PING does not open window for temperature and humidity. I need to monitor this data to generate a report of weather conditions data center. Now I added some more devices, where I want to use the same custom link again. When I add the same link again I get the message that a link with this name already exists. SNMPv3 Polling Stops Working
I am in the process of setting up OpManager. At first it was going fine and everything was working. After a day or two of monitoring, OpManager will no longer correctly use SNMPv3 credentials. -The same credentials and devices were working properly initially -Run snmpget from same computer using same snmp credentials and works fine -Add SNMPv2c and SNMPv1 credentials to network devices and OpManager works fine -Delete credentials and devices, then add all back and still not working -Tried RepairDB
HP Proliant - Need help finding MiB/OID for Internal Hardware LED status
In addition to the specific hardware monitors we have setup in OpManager, I would like to setup a general failure alert when the servers Internal Harware LED changes from green to amber or red. However, I have not been able to find the correct MiB/OID for this. Is anyone else using this monitor or know in which MiB/OID it can be found? Any help appreciated. Seth

Can a widget open a widget?

Alerts issue
The issue is specifically for disk/cpu/memory usage on the server. eg. Whenever the disk space exceeds the threshold value of suppose 75%, I get an alert. I have set the successive alerts every 5 minutes thereafter. But these successive alerts shows the same value of disk usage as it is in the first alert, though it is increasing due to some scheduled backup or any other process on that server. Is it possible to get the current value in the successive alert? Attaching the alerts, the original one

Move OpManager install to new server
We would like to move our install to a new server. It is currently on Win 2003 R2 32bit, we would like to move to Win 2008 R2 64bit. The server would also have a new name. (The current name does not meet our naming convention). Is there a procedure to follow to install clean on new server / migrate database, etc?
Lets you specify the OID for windows.
There are several SNMP devices, but the OP does not have automatic windows, it would be interesting if you could set that defines the OID value of the window so manual.
