Incorrect 2003 Memory Reporting
I am running several 2003 servers and logging their memory usage. However when I look at the reports they are not correct. Example would be in task mgr I see utilization around 47% yet in OpMgr it is coming back as 69%; same type of thing on another server as 55% & 96%. I have tried to use both SNMP & WMI getting the same results for both.
Adding a service to monitor
When adding a windows service to monitor, is it possible to add just the services for the server you want to monitor and not all the services from the other servers? The little box that opens when adding the windows service to the notification profile is not a very user friendly process. Is it also possible to see all servers that are only running a specific service?
Custom Availabilty Servers Report
Hi, Wish to create a custom availability for the servers report because the existing availability servers report does not meet our requirement. Therefore, intend to do custom report by ourselves. We are able to look at the fields however indicate the number which do not understand. Have attached a drawn report for easier to virtualize. What we need is to tabulate the availability for each month on the same report so that we will know the trend. Does anyone know which field to pull from opsmanger
Delete multiple monitors and Apply/Overwrite does not remove from device
Created new device with zero monitors. Added bulk monitors to a device template. Deleted ALL monitors. Clicked Apply and then Apply and Overwrite to the device with said device template. Go back to Home and select specific device and custom monitors are still associated with device (had to select them and delete them from each device in category).
Moving opmanager to new server
I moved opmanager to a new server yesterday and lost the NetFlow plug in. Do I need to reinstall the NetFlow plug in for OpManager since its been moved? If so, is there anything that needs to be done with the license file?
Categories of servers
Help with such situation. We have 4 Hyper-V servers. On these servers there are 3 servers Exchanage. On a bookmark Virtualizations we add servers Hyper-v. On what bookmark I need to add servers Exchanage that they have appeared in section Servers and in section Exchanage?
Web based rack management product
I would love to see a shelf product that would show physical representation of the datacenter down to the rack level and each peice of equipment in the physical rack. Each rack could be setup with custom U sizing and each piece of equipment type defined to how many U's it is, vendor, and etc. then each item placed in the rack would be selected from the type, fill in a serial number, server name, IP address, notes and etc. With this visual representation of the datacenter and housed server racks
OpManager 9011 have Restrictions on quantity CPU ?
Greetings. It was found out that Opmanager 9011 for servers Cisco UCS B200 M2 (2 x Intel Xeon E5649 6core) shows only 10 kernels, but them there physically 12. It is observed both on Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 Core and on VmWare Esxi 5.0. How it to correct?
Can not remove web alarm
Consistently we are not able to dismiss web alarms. The issue is that everytime a screen refresh occurs the alarm sounds. It is making it a pretty useless tool as we just end up keeping the sound off. We have seen a post that gives a work around to go to the server itself and delete the alarm there. This does work but is not always practical as not all users have admin rights to delete alarms. Is there a permanent fix to this issue? Regards, Nathan

monitoring tablespaces in oracle 10g
i have tested my credentials for both CLI and SNMP for my Oracle server running in Linux and they have passed. I have added the monitoring tools for tablespaces and nothing is being monitored. i have used the mibbrowser tool to test ORADB-MIB and i am getting 'Request failed or timed out. Upgrade Netflow plug-in to 9000
My Opmanager build is 8812 and when upgrading the plug-in with UpdateManager (.\NetFlow\bin) it starts the upgrade, but there is now progress. Can't install the enterprise netflow analyzer plugin
Hi support team, I want to test the netflow analyzer plugin with the OPM Enterprise central edition in one server , but when installing the plugin, it said i have to upgrade the opm to the lastest version and then install the plugin. VMware Threshold Alerts
Hi I have setup my VMware 3.5.0 host servers on OpManger (9011) and configured the notification profiles to send when 1 poll is missed and when any Threshold Rule is violated. However no alerts are being sent. When I check what is covered under the threshold setting it tells me that I don't have any set, even though they were automatically setup during discovery. Am I missing something very obvious here? Cheers.

Hyper-V in OpManager 9
I added two Hyper-V Hosts that are part of a two node cluster. Metrics are collected and displayed on the Host Servers but none of the VMs are collecting except for one per Host. The one per Host, which is collecting, is not collecting or displaying correctly.History reports reflect the same problem, only one VM shows up. If I failover the VM that does collect (but incorrectly) it moves to the other Node but still does not collect correctly.

URL-Monitoring does not work with dependency
Hello together, i have the problem that my dependencys are not working with the URL-Monitoring configured on several server. That means i will not get any alarm-message if the server is not available if the dependend device is not available, that�s correct. But i will get a false-alarm regarding the URL-Monitor configured on the same server. Can anyone tell me how to configure that the dependency is also working with URL-Monitors in the serveral server? I get this error message on most of my machines however with same domain admin credentials WMI pass on some machines I have tried the troubleshooting guides of OPmanager. Please help ?
Unmanaged devices
Unmanaged devices count as a 'used' licence. We have a few LAB VMWare servers with about a hundred machines that are purely lab machines, testing and simulation servers... How can I set them in 'unmanaged' state but without using a licence? I only need to monitor the hosts in this case, not the virtual machines they host.
Alerts Dependency
Is there any way to stop URL Monitor Alerts when Web Service is down? We get both type of alerts. Ideally if IIS/Apache is down, we should only get alerts for the service & not for URL monitors as it obvious they'll be down

95th percentile reports of CPU and Memory utilization
Hi there, Is it possible to create a 95th percentile report of CPU and Memory usage by device in OpManager? The report showing Min, Max, Avg really isn't very helpful because when you are capacity planning, what you care about is "typical peak" utilization. It would also be great if CPU and Memory could be combined into one report, but if they have to be separate, so be it. Thanks, Andy

Hi, I need help with configuring windows 2003 with snmp. This is not a OpManager issue. I am not able to retrieve snmp cpu utilization data from a windows 2003 machine. I have installed snmp service and verified the snmp credential is correct. However, I am not able to get snmp cpu utilization (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2) from the machine. 2 Weeks ago I installed Symantec Endpoint Protection and Manager on the server that I also have OpManager on. Ever since I have done this the SEPP has killed OpManager, not allowing it to run.
