One of our Domain Controllers reports LSASS CPU usage of 612% and more. How could I fix that? Build 9011 DC on Windows 2003 R2 Virtual Machine on ESX host.

Hi, I saw that for App Manager there's a good ER Diagram describing all relationship between tables for various objects it monitor. https://forums.manageengine.com/topic/raw-data-export There's anything similar for OpManager? We would like to try to integrate in some way vcenter operations from vmware so that we can get some alerting information and data into it and one of the way to do this without a already done connector is to directly query tables and get the data. Discover and monitor ESX host *without* classifying already discovered VMs as "Virtual Devices"
I have an environment where all of the servers, whether they're physical or virtual, have already been discovered, thresholds adjusted, and notification profiles applied. I notice when I discover an ESX host, even if I have auto VM discovery unchecked, all the already discovered "Server" devices on that host get modified to become "Virtual Devices" and the notification profiles and monitoring I had configured on them is removed or changed. Is there any way to monitor an ESX host without this reclassification?
Backup OpManager without NetFlow
Is there a way to execute BackupDB_Mysql.bat and have it skip the NetFlow plugin data? We want to backup only the OpManager database and not the NetFlow database due to it's size. Thanks, Aaron
OpManager Availability problem
Hi all, I have a problem with availability round graph in OpManager. Some devices after the short downtime shown as 100% unavailible, but at the same time device is availible and snmp test shows PASS. This bug may be corrected by rediscovery option.... and as a result in availiability reports this devices shown as down. Is someone have this trouble? What can I do whith this?
a better way to monitor services?
Is there a more efficient way to choose which services to monitor? Currently, these are the steps I take to monitor a service: (1) Add the device I want to manage (2) Click on the monitors tab --> Windows Service Monitors --> Add Monitor --> Click [here...] to discover services from device --> choose the service I want (3) Go to the notification profile tab --> Click on the appropriate profile --> click when any [selected...] Windows Service is down --> choose the service from the Criteria window
Upgrading OpManager Free Edition
I'm currently running Opmanager Free edition at home and have been searching for over an hour to see if there is a way to upgrade to the current, without losing my statistical data? I'm running under Linux 64BIT. I've tried the scripts that are located in the bin/backup, but when trying a restore, it complains about version being different. And Google isn't being so kind. Email Alerts too slow
I have a test email alert profile that is set to email if any of the following parameters are met: 1) Device misses 1 poll 2) Echo Service is down 3) If "Cisco Shutdown" TRAP is received It usually takes anywhere from 6-8 minutes of a device being down for an email to be sent. Does anyone know how to set it up to email immediately when a device is offline? Thanks. Respectfully, Will

Service alarm not showing
Hi I'm running OpManager 9 with the latest updatet, but have some problems. My problem is that I have som services on my Windows serveres that Opmanager is set to monitor. The problem is that if the service stops, Opmanager does not give any alarms on it. Yes I can see that the service is down if I drill down on a single server, but OpManager it self does not trigger an alarm. Anybody with any surgestiens on how to fix this?

Url monitor several servers
Is it possible to monitor several servers with the same URL monitor. We have several servers that runs the same websites. Therefor we need a way to monitor them with say www.abc.com which does not resolve to the actual webserver we will monitor. Instead it shall use the ip of the server and send the url specified as host header. Best regards Claus P
Problems with URL Monitor and shared IPs on IIS
Hello, if i configure a URL monitor for sites that run on IIS and share the same ip with other URLs than i get a "Host Unavailable" error. Examples (all on one IIS): Site1: www.example1.de on IP 123.456.789.010, no host header - check as ok Site2: www.example2.de on IP 123.456.789.011, host header "www.example2.de" - Host Unavailable Site2: www.example3.de on IP 123.456.789.011, host header "www.example3.de" - Host Unavailable I check Site2 and Site3 in browser - all run fine. Hi OPManager writes to security logg (Eventlogg, login/logout events) every check opmanager do to one Windows server. The problem is that the logfile get ful, and we can´t se other things in the logg, youst opmanagers logins. What can I do, so that Windows server do not write opmanager login/logout to the logg?
Oputils Service is Failing to Start
My oputils server is down, the service will not start: "The ManageEngine OpUtils service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this x time(s)." This started last Friday and support has not called back.....can anyone help? Thank you.
Bandwidth Monitor - E2005
Hi, When trying to add a device to bandwidth monitor I get the following error message, - E2005: Not able to retrieve complete data from the MIB. Any ideas why I receive this message. I am able to do an snmpwalk on all OIDs from the CLI on this box and from other machines, just unable to add the device to bandwidth monitor within OpUtils. Thanks

I know there is a great deal of overlap among your products, but opmanager tends to have the broadest scope of capabilities, and in our environment is used by server administrators and network administrators. I think it would be nice to have the ip address management capability added to opmanager. I realize you have oputilities, but much of that product also appears in opmanager, so I don't want to duplicate the application management. I'd rather ip address management be added to opmanager.
Business Snapshot Sort Order
vaguely remember something about this in V6, and did KB search but did not find anything. V7, 7024.. Is there a way to Sort Business views alphabetically? or by hierachy? Maybe a SQL command to re-index? My infrastructure is very broad and seeminly without deleting all business views and starting over, the listing order is very confusing.
Wildcards in workflow
I,m trying OpManager for several days, and it,s OK. My coleagues remind me on one small problem. In new workflow when they miss usage of wildcards for files or folder names. Sample c:\temp\*.dat. Fro example, we check if file is there , or more than 10 minutes. The same thing is in File monitor templates. Also is there any chance to use UNC file names (\\server\share\file) also for files with wildcards. I assume that if workflow can get list of more files in one directory, there should not be any

Move hyper-v host to common servers?
Is it possible to add a server with hyper-v without it ending upp as a virtualization host in opm? The hyper-v module is not functioning very well for us with missing/wrong counters and such so we want to add the counters ourselves and be able to adjust nics and so on.

device template fail to set device partition threshold
Start with a windows 2003 machine with a Partition Details of the Device(%) monitor but no threshold set. Go into device template for windows 2003 and set the partition threshold to 85%. APC Netbotz temp probe readings display in OpManager alarms
I have created a custom category called Temperature Sensors. I then created a custom Device Template called APC Netbotz 200 and added it to the new category Temperature Sensors. Using OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.318 (APC's PowerNet-MIB.mib file) and OpManager's MIB browser I can select the IP address of my APC Netbotz 200 and see all current information (name, serial number, temps, humidity, etc) for the device. Netflow plugin and Switches
Hello We have multiple sites connected via a WAN. We use nortel 5520's and HP's which are switch/Routers. In opmanager they are configured as switches even tho they perform routing function. My question is, can you use the netflow plugin on devices that are not under the router category? Another issue I am having, which I have sent a support request through about is when I try to install the netflow plugin into my opmanager (9010) It tells me that I do not have the correct version of opmanager.
OPM: HTTPS URL Monitoring (certificate problem)
