Configuration Management Intermittent Backup Failures - "Device Response Not Available"

I've setup 3 Cisco devices that I am trying to perform configuration backups through a scheduled process. These backups work when I test the credentials and they even work sometimes through the scheduled process. 

However, I have received "Backup Failed" errors on 2 of the devices that I know are up and running (no DNS issues, no network issues), but the plugin seems to fail. Is this plugin-in just buggy, are there known issues/workarounds? It definitely seems like to me that the intermittent failures aren't being caused by anything on my end.
