Business Views Not Updating Status
We had issues with a couple of battery backups recently that dropped off the network. They have been reset and cleared and are working properly now. The business view where they appear has everything green now. However, the shortcut to that business view on another map still shows red. That filters up through our sub-maps to our main index which also shows that branch as being red. I have reset the server, made all the devices update their status, etc. and nothing seems to turn those shortcuts
Notification rules
Hi I would change notification in two categories, day and night. By day the notifications with normal alarm interval and the night notification with another interval (most high). It's possible to implement this requirement in OpManager?

OpManager Enterprise Probe and Central Server Not Syncing
I'm seen an issue where my central server is not having all the devices from the probe be synced up. The probe has 39 devices on it, and the central server only sees 12. My alarms are also not syncing up, but I believe this is because the device exists on the probe, but not on the central server. Has anyone else seen this, if so, how do I fix it? I can't seem to find a way to force a sync. Thanks, Clint
CentOS install
Hello, I installed OpManager 64bits on a new CentOS 6.2 vm. Installation went fine however when I do a StartOpManagerServer.sh, it stucks at "inside addon check". The first time I use it I saw a few tables created, but I never passed again the "inside addon check". I have already : -copy lib from backup to /usr/lib -delete IPv6 entry from /etc/hosts -change localhost to 127.0.0.1 in the database conf file Please help ! Loïc
opmanager generates hundreds of snmp udp calls per managed device
Hi, Why is opmanager generating so machine snmp calls per minute to a managed server? I have only 5 items in the performance monitor (standard stuff like cpu, memory, etc.) with 1 minute interval. Here is the log from my linux box. The machine w.x.y.z is where I run the opmanager. db2 is the machine being monitored. Cannot show process diagnostics CPU Utilization
Dear Support, I use Opmanager latest version build 9101, I want to check top 10 Processes CPU utilizations on server when I press "process diagnostics" on CPU Utilizations it's show nothing just say in windows "ERROR". Problem monitoring log file
Hello, i have a problem with notification allert for monitor of log file. I have some log file where any day refresh from some script but the system send me the allerts with this message: "La data file del monitoraggio DRNODO3RidondanzaNasServerNT è 0 minuti, e viola la soglia di 1 giorni" translated in English "The date file of the monitoring <Title> is 0 minute and violates the threshold of 1 day" this is have no sense because 0 minute is <= 1 day that i have setted for the limit of threshold.

Problem on SNMP connetion
Hi all, i have a server that located at branch office office and using WAN link as medium to connect to main office. but the problem is i my OPManager server (located at main office) couldn't find that server using SNMP, i have open port 161 on both server (actually i dont know for sure if the port is opened or not, cause i dont know how to test it ^^), but the problem still exist, is there any idea to solve this problem ??

Log the poll's (trial)
Hi all! We are just in the progress to test OpManager. I added some servers and there is a strange behaviour, the poll are not fired! So e.g. we had a server (Win2008R2) and the monitor CPU Utilization had only 2 entries: Date Time CPU1 Percentage Jun-6-12 10:12 31.0 Jun-6-12 9:42 0.0 So why it is not fired (actually we have 16:02)? Adding 6504 devices in the Config File Manager
I am trying to add 6500 series devices into the Config File Manager piece of OpUtils 6. It will let me add it with the correct snmp value using v2c but gives me a configuration retrieval error. Is this device supported in the Config File Manager piece?

If i try discover devices from my pc (Windows 7), then i have next: Input ip range and start dicover Import Devices and push button "Import Devices" And error "Discover in progerss" and this is not stop. I have already setup a RW community on switch working perfectly because the OpManager detects it, but when I submit the changes, no commands are applied on running config. Monitor Event Log for missing events?
We have some software that writes to the Application event log when a job is complete. If the job doesn't complete then the event doesn't get written. Is it possible to configure OpManager to alert us if this event doesn't get written by a certain time, or after a specified number of polls? I can only see a way of monitoring for specific events that do exist, not ones that don't exist. I'm using OpManager build 9101. Thanks, Dave

self-restart not working in windows service monitor
Hi all, using OpManager 9101 for monitoring about 100 devices. Set a bunch of windows service monitors on several windows machine, some of those are custom services (application related) OpManager is capable of detecting the status but it just loses the radio button on "Restart this Service" even if "Do the following action, if the service is unavailable" remains flagged Obviously the service is not restarted and thus the problem
CPU Use Graph on non Win/Lin?
We're adding some OpenVMS Integrity servers to OpManager and would like the CPU and Memory graphs to work correctly - it seems though that the graphs only specifically work for Win/Lin/Cisco/3Com, etc. Is there a way/guide to set the graphs to look at a specific OID for these machines? They're correctly identified as type "DECSystem". The Disk Usage graph works correctly, as do all the CPU/Mem/Disk Performance Monitors (they give correct charts). Is this fairly simple to do?

WAN RTT Timers and Cisco ASR 9000
I am trying to figure out how to set up IPSLA WAN RTTs on the Cisco ASR 9000 platform using Opmanager. It seems that Opmanger is not sending the right command to the device after the creation of the SLA. On other IOS devices such as a cisco 7206 I have no issues setting up and publishing the SLA. Hi, One of my probe server, which was istalled as Italian, always had this problem. Basically the URL monitor query OpManager itself and not the URL i'm asking for. This problem went unnoticed until we had a system outage and tried to understand why the monitor stayed green. Pressing the "check now" button it show a page with a redirect to "/Login.do".
