Opmanager Upgrade
Hello, We were in the process of upgrading Opmanager. After we copy the JRE PPM and restart the Opmanager server, we saw some errors during the copy of JRE objects. After that, when we start Opmanager we got this error: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: setErrorMode
Can't install ServicePack 9200
I am attempting to update OpManager from build 9101 to build 9200, but keep getting errors. I followed the normal routine of: Stop OpManager Run Update Manager Select the update file However, when I select the update file, I get an error in the GUI that reads "The file may be corrupted or check for the available disk space", and the command window behind it says "SEVERE: ERRError in writing inf.xml file." I have confirmed that there is plenty of disk space available on the server, and tried re-downloading
Minimum Permissions
Could anyone point me to a document that explains the minimum permissions to monitor a Domain Controller in OpManger? I am assuming it will need to be a Domain Admin but I need to prove this to our security people. Thanks. Rob
License Activation Issue..
Hi, I was using Opmanager 10, Essential with a license named on our Organization. But the number of device monitored is restricted to 150. We planned to upgrade to latest one such that we can get 500 devices monitored. We prepared a separate server and installed the latest version which is 11.3. Followed the series of steps and chose 30 days trial and when we applied the license that we had which is expiring on 2016, it is not accepting and the registration details remains as 30 days trial. UI Layout Messed when trying to add a performance monitor.
Hi, I recently applied thresholds to a Windows 7 device template for Hard Drive Utilization. Now if I try and edit the Performance Monitor on the snapshot page I get the below issue with the layout of the UI. Please assist here. I don't seem to be able to remove the threshold setting in the device template either.
Change the values of the ping poll
Hi, I receive many alerts "Device not responding probably down or busy" but to check the device pings are preserved. My doubts are: 1. I change the number of pings that are sent in each poll 2.-How many are lost pings to send alert "Device not responding"? Thank you, Regards!
OpManager WMI password change now doesn't work
I had to change the password we were using for WMI access. After changing it on the account in AD, then changing it in OpManager now it will not authenticate. I have verified I was using same password (not mistyping it), I have removed and re-created the the WMI credentials but the problem remains. Any advice for this?

OPManager Pass Through Authentication
1. I have enabled OpManager pass through authentication after getting ServiceDesk Plus pass through authentication working - but now all I get is the authentication prompts and I can login or anything. How do I turn pass through authentication off outside of OpManager? 2. What is the correct process to setup pass through authentication in OpManager? I would have thought it was the same as SDP... Process Monitor
I am trying to use OpManger to monitor a number of processes on multiple servers. I need to make sure a specific number of each process is running. I have figured out how to set an alert to go off if it drops below a certain number, or goes above, but not both. In other words, if I want to be running 3 instances of "bob.exe" (for example), I can set an alert if it is running 2 or fewer, or I can set an alert for 4 or more. FLUIDIC UI missing access to Plugins
I have noticed that the FLUIDIC UI is missing the "Jump To" ability for Plugins. When will this be added as this is troublesome to have to change back and forth between the FLUIDIC UI and the old UI to get to plugins then back to continue using the additional details provided in the FLUIDIC UI (graphs) to correlate issues.
Instance count threshold 'not equal'
Hi, in the instance count threshold settings I can select '=', '<=" and '>=' but '<> (not equal)' seems to be missing - or is it me who's missing something? Our company is currently evaluating OpManager Large Enterprise Edition, as we feel we have reached the limits of what our OpManager Essential Edition can offer us. I have installed LEE with an evaluation license, however I am looking at it, and playing around with it, yet I am unable to see the differences between LEE and Essential edition. Could you tell me the benefits of LEE, and what features are we getting with LEE that Essential doesn't have?

Modifying Exchange 2010 Thresholds
I am running OpManager Essential v. 10200, with the Exchange & MSSQLadd-ons. Any time I attempt edit the thresholds on any of the Exchange or SQL specific monitors, once I hit okay, a pop-up appears: The page at https://monitor:9090 says: Enter the SNMP OID. Any idea how to get around this issue?

WMI Error (RPC Server is Unavailable)
I'm getting the dreaded "RPC Server Unavailable" error when using WMI credentials on a new server. I've been through all of the troubleshooting / KB articles and everything seems OK (services are running, server is pingable on IP and name, no firewalls are running etc) but I still get the error and can't get the server added. Disable Alarm for Cisco 3750
One of the Cisco devices we are monitoring has a known issue that makes it appear that there is a power supply issues when queried via SNMP. Has been observed on WS-C3750X-48P stack switches running 12.2(55)SE3 or 12.2(58)SE1. "show env all" shows power supply status are ok, but snmpwalk of CISCO-ENVMON-MIB/ciscoEnvMonSupplyState shows that power supply 1 is faulty and not functioning (6) The result is that we are continually getting the alert (I think from SNMP polling). Removed SQL Monitors and changed Threshold reappears
Hi, I got a big problem with all our SQL Servers. If i remove like an MSSQL Services Monitor, MS Search or SQL Browser they reappears in some time. Same if I edit a Threshold like Data File Size they get restored to the "default" value in what feels like a couple of hours. I cant find a way to edit the SQL template and the tresholds needs to be different in different servers.
Opmanager failure after migration
Hi there We recently migrated Opmanager from a physical server to a VM, Win Server 2008 R2, MSSQL 2008 R2, and everything seemed to be going smoothly but lately something occurs overnight to cause Opmanager to go down. No more alerts, and web console shows "Error!" and nothing else. Restarting Opmanager service fixes the issue (Temporarily) under the next night. Seems to occur early morning every day around when our Veeam backups are running. Like I said it used to be on physical server so not sure
Custom Widget
I need help with a widget. Is there a way to get the "last polled value of a performance monitor" to work with a group of devices? Currently this widget only works for a single device. This closest I could find was to monitor a group of devices is "Top N Monitored Values of a performance monitor" But I would like the last polled value...not an min, max, avg.
False positive - Probably down or busy
Since I upgraded to 11100 I've been getting "Device not responding: Probably down or busy." alerts for random servers during the day & night. The servers are definately not down or busy. What was causing these false positive?
The questions about adding ESXi Virtual Host

After I add the ESXi host, only in the part of some ESXi virtual machine can be found, and some of them you can see the IP address and the open state, but can not be controlled. Google maps not showing on new PC
We have Opmanager running nicley and I have our branches placed onto a google map which shows fine on my PC. (I have added the maps.html file to the directory on the server) But if I log on to a different PC the Google map does not show and it displays the message about adding the maps.html file for hte api. Anyone know why this would be? Rob

Manage Business View on on Central Server
Hi, I migrate my enviroment from a Standalone to a Central/Probe enviroment so now instead to have one console I have 6 (1 Central and 5 Probes) to better collect data direct on every remote site. Now I want to manage my Business Views only from Central that point to bussiness view created on Probe so my question is: Is possible to create a Business View on Central Server and create a link on that that point to a Business View (created by L2 map for example) in a Probe Server? I don´t see this option
Problems with orphaned
Hello. I have a problem with OpManager, related to orphans, my situation is as follows: I have vCenter you have ESX, the ESX has 10 virtual machines, in the OpManager Discover 10 VM but some of them are orphans. In Appmanger add the same vCenter, but only detects 5 VM, but these 5 VM are orphaned in OpManager. That may be happening with OpManager not discovering detects well the VM?, And what about AppManager can not detect all VMs that if caught in OpManager? I have the latest version of OpManager
RegEx handling in Syslog
