OpManager Memory Utilization high
I am managing a Win2k Standard box and the memory utilization consistently says 100%. Although, when I manually check the available memory on the machine in task manager it says more than 2gb of the total 3gb memory is available. Please let me know what could be causing this. Thanks, Neil

Disabling alarms
OpManager constantly logs alarms related to the ports that are down on my switches. Since these ports are not down, there are simply no devices connected to them I would like to disable that particuar alarm and have so far not been able to find a way how to do that.
Can you set specific times for monitoring??
Is it possible or can it be made possible to change what times devices are monitored. For example for some servers we want to be able to set threshold rules for during the day activity while in the evening hours it is not so important to monitor thresholds. We want to be able to set specific times for when these monitors kick off a violation notification.
CPU utilization and backplane util for CISCO 3750
Hi! I cannot make dial meters to work for CPU and backplane util. to work. I tried to walk MIB, but there is no such OID as is requested for these two parameters. Device is: Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series Any help?

Device Name Changes
When adding a device initially it is binded by either its hostname or ip address. If the name of the host has changed and I've also made this change in device details it won't change the hostname of where it was pointing to. I've looked in admin and everywhere else, maybe I'm missing something here?

Terminal Server
Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help me customize the monitoring of the eventlog on my terminal server. I would like to customize and define what to monitor, as in only the APPLICATION $ SECURITY logs, and in those logs, filter out only the errors and warnings. Basically, the monitor will send out a notification when a specific error or warning is found in the specified logs. I am not sure how to do this and your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
APC UPS - only seeing load and charge
Hi, I'm just playing with OpManager 6 and have an issue in getting values displayed for anything other than UPS Load and Charge for the device. I suspect the problem is that I am using the APC SNMP extensions supplied by the APC agent which is running on a Windows XP PC - so maybe OpManager refuses to believe the node is supplying the APC OIDs. I have already changed the Device Type to APC UPS but this did not make any difference - I assigned an additional IP address to the host node to use purely
Wrong URL clear notification
In OpManager I defined URL monitors on the server device. I added and assigned a mail notification to send mail when the URL is down. This works but after when the URL is up again I got several Clear messages: four times the same message: Clear - fkdwebp2.bl.ch Message: The URL http://kwwintrexx.fkd.bl.ch is Up Device: fkdwebp2.bl.ch Category: Server Error Condition: Clear Generated at: Apr 25,2006 12:19:19 AM and again two times this message: Clear - fkdwebp2.bl.ch The URL http://kwwintrexx.fkd.bl.ch
MS SQL Monitor - Cache Hit Ratio always 0.
I have the Cache Hit Ratio monitor for SQL server setup and it's always displaying as 0. If I use perfmon on that server I can see that I'm hovering around 99%. All the other SQL Monitors seem to work just fine.
Device is stuck in list, can't delete

Memory not reporting right
I have a SNMP monitor watching a dual processor server with 4GB of ram, the CPU seems to report back ok, but the memory is reporting 93% usage. When I log in to see whats going on with the server the mem usage is at less then %10 The opmanager is running on linux and the server is windows 2003

Spanish characters in OP Manager
Hi there, We have some specials characters like " � ", and some of my PC's has this character in the PC name. OP Manager reads this character as (in HTML code � = à ±) We can't clear the alerts for PC's with this simbol in the name of the machine. Can't remove Resource Monitors from the list

Tracing an IP address in NetFlow
I am using OpMan to track my Internet traffic. I am seeing a tremendous amount of traffic going to "205.161.6.57" on http. I have tried to connect to it to see what it is but I get a bad URL message. I tried DNS Reports but nothing came back on it. Does anyone have any ideas how I can track this down to see what it is? :D
Error when attempting to change Device Type from Unknown
When I attempt to change a device from Type "Unknown" I get a screen that just says "Error!". The system description is correct and I was able to change the Category to the correct one.

bug in reporting
hello, when i open the device and press on the pie chart ( availability) it appears the today availability , but when i try to custom it for , it still display for me the today availbilty numbers (but of course the title of the page is the availabilty of my custumized period). any solutions ? also if i tried to go to "reports" tab and select device , there is no "availabilty " report i can generate , only response time.
Problem with desktop alarms

Installing on Ubuntu 5.10
It took me a day or two but I was able to install OpManager onto Ubuntu 5.10, I just thought I would lay out what I remember doing incase someone else is looking. Alarm Variables in OpManager MSP
Can anyone point me to what the standard alarm variables are within OpManager? I am pulling back the display name with $displayName but I also want to pull back the IP Address of the device reporting the error.
Discovery no longer working
Hi, I have OPManager 6.0 build 6003 I have 4 subnets. The first one was great and the second work as well. but the 3 and forth will not be discovered. If I add a device one by one then I get all the data but the discover Network will not find them/ Help? Thanks Scott

report availability
Hi, I can't display "All Interfaces Availability Report" in Report section. When I try the message that I receive is "No data available" but this is not true. In fact if I go into the router interface section I can see the interface availability for today, yesterday, etc. I created an "custom monitor" (I called it "Interface_status") with .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7 mib and it functions well when I perform a test. If I go in the report section and I choose both router and "Interface_status" I can't display
