I am trying to load this mib for a Juniper IVE device. Everytime I try to load it through the website or the java mib browser it always gives me an error. I have attach the mib, is it something wrong with the mib? This is the latest one for my device. Thanks
Service Desk integration problem
I am running Service Desk Version : 5.5.0 Build Number : 5501 in a 30 day demo and Opmanager v 6.0 build 6005 free edition. I am trying to setup the integration to Service Desk in Opmanager. I fill in the required details and get: Unable to fetch values from ServiceDesk Plus, The server might not be running or the network traffic may be too high. Oracle Monitor problem (urgent) !
Dear all, I am trying to add Application Monitor==> Oracle Monitor on any server but when I click on test monitor of any service of oracle like Tablespace Used then I gets this error; The Monitor did not respond to the test request All other monitors of all servers are working fine except this application monitor and SNMP service is ok, all threshold is ok, but this is giving me error, 1) Can we monitor only one oracle tablespace size monitor in this option ? filter specific traps
Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to tell to one host to ignore some traps that we don't care? Is it possible to do via the configuration files? I know that we can disable some traps but they will be stored in Unsolicited traps. In fact, I would like to ignore them in such a way that they are not recorded in the database... Get OPManger to discover Fortigate 300A
Our OPManger has discovered our Fortigate 300A firewall, but it believes it is a router. I can change this so it shows up as a firewall and I can change the device type to Fortigate 300 (since 300a isn't in the list). 1) Is there a way to get OPManger to correctly recognize it as a Firewall if I were to delete the device? 2) Is there a way to get the Fortigate 300a in the device type list? 3) And I see that it pulled in the interfaces on this device, but for one of the devices it shows it as IF-xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Scan Error
Hi there ! Please help me with this... The network scan does not show all the machines in the network of 1500 machine only two of them are shown i can manually add device by giving there ip address but rescanning the network also dont work ! The ip addresses are : 10.1.40.* 10.1.11.* and so on... I tried to add all of them but still why is the network scan not happening ! From my experience on other sites i have seen that after giving the network address, immediately the network icon of the machine

I have a few questions and things I would like to find out before I order. I looked at http://manageengine.adventnet.com/products/eventlog/eventlog-troubleshoot.html#6 to find out why my wmi cpu load was not working. Indeed my firewall was enabled on my xp machine. The fix worked OK. Although, I have the same problem with a Windows server 2003, while the windows firewall is not enable. Any Idea ? The server is running stand alone (not in a domain). I specify PCNAME\USERNAME, and its local password for the password information in Opmanager MSP. Regards. J.

Hello, I have add a new windows service, Op Manage detect it when is stopped but i don't restart the service. But i have configure the monitoring for retarting the service. the windows account is correct ? How i can troubleshoot this problem ?
Internal Server Error
Whenever I try to access the Web panel, I get an internal server error, the logs aren't much help, I already looked. Any ideas? I've got Apache on Windows.

Cisco 7206VXR
We are starting to trial the OpManager system and I'm trying to get a Cisco 7206VXR monitored. OpManager doesn't seem to have much support for this router although it's a VERY popular series in the Cisco family.. Can anyone tell me how to get the 7206VXR running with OpManager? OpManager MSP backup
Hi, How do I backup OpManager MSP ?. Is it the same as with the stand alone version ?. If so, I am assuming I would have to run backupdb.bat /sh at the central console and at each probe. Correct ?.
EventID 7034
Can't start Opmanager on XP machine. I have a eventid 7034. The ManageEngine OpManager service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 5 time(s).
Active Directory Monitor
I have been useing the Active Directory Monitor and it is working as i expect it. But if one of the ad services Goes into error i cant get it to log a ticket in support desk. It has a notification profile that does not requeir any citeria and i though that would do it but i still can get it to log a ticket and it does any type of alarm
Newbie questions
With the normal apologies if these have been covered before. I scrolled down the forum and couldn't see them mentioned. 1) A number of the PCs that we are monitoring at client sites are switched off when their users go home. This means we get flooded with errors at 5.30pm each day. Is there a way of handling these differently to for example, a PC that we know should be on 24/7? 2) Is there a quick way to scan the network again without losing the currently logged settings. Router discovered as Desktop
Everytime i add a cisco router it is recognized as a Desktop Equipment. I forced it to Router but the interfaces and other information is not added on it. Do you have any idea to solve it?
Notification Profile Scheduling
Greetings, Is there any way to schedule a Notification Profile to be active during a certain time, such as an Outgoing Traffic Monitor on a T1 that is linked to a Notification Profile that only alerts during after hours? What I'm trying to do is setup a monitor that will tell me if my T1's WAN NIC breaks my currently-set threshold only from Fri 8PM - Mon 3AM PST. I want to monitor outgoing traffic on the weekends when no one is at work, and an alert that the outgoing traffic threshold was broken
Rate of Drive Consumption Monitor?
Does OpManager have or could it be added - a drive rate of consumption monitor? Its useful to know how much hard disk space one has free, but it is even more useful to know historically how that space is consumed at a glance. Replacing the disk utilization with this icon would be a nice option. David.
When I import cisco router Opmanager puts it on Desktop
When I import cisco router Opmanager puts it on Desktop device and when i change the cathegory of device it makes it incomplete without interfaces and so on. I reimport it and again to the Desktop device. It works sometimes fine but others not. Please help i wanna buy it but if there is some bug there i wanna be sure to get the solution. Regards M&M
URL Monitoring Reporting
I have setup a number of URL monitors. I would like to extract the polled data (page response times) to generate some reports ... I am TOTALLY unable to find the data in the database, if its in the usual statsdata tables then I'm looking straight past it! Help. Adventnet it would be VERY VERY useful to produce a document describing the tables, data in them, relationships etc to help those of us trying to produce more sophisticated MIS reports out of OpManager. Problems running OPMANAGER in MS Internet Explorer
Hi all, I got a problem with op manager and ms internet explorer. I connect via internet explorer on port 8060 to the pc op manager is running. Enter the username and password and I get the main page. When I try to open one task e.g. Router the internet explorer returns to the logon page. What can be the problem ? Windows Service Monitors
I'm using the free version of OpManager 6.0 - all the monitors work fine except for the Windows Service Monitors (IIS, DNS Server, Event Log, etc.) - when I set them up they initially report 'OK', but then they always change and report 'Service Is Down' after 5 to 30 minutes, even though the services are up and running fine. Any ideas on what may be the problem? Thanks.
OPM+Netflow integration
Hi, I am trying to integrate Netflow with Opmanager. I have configured the servername, port, username and password. When I click on the netflow link under a specific interface I am requested to authenticate before I can view the data. Shouldn't Opmanager pass the authentication information I have provided earlier to Netflow? Thanks Ramzi

monitor batch job
we have a batch job that monitors an application for errors - the batch job checks for the existence of a file and if the file exists then there is an error in the application. Can opmanager somehow be setup to monitor this or run the batch file and be alerted if the conditions are true?
redirection of the traps in OpManager
Hi all, I have a question about the configuration of OpManager. We would like to use OpManager with another product and in fact, we want to redirect the traps in this other software. Notifications associated to devices
newbie questions, I guess: 1) How can I view which notfications are associated with whcih devices? 2) can I associate a notification with multiple device types (for instance 'all routers' and 'all servers'), or do I need to create a notification for each device type, if I want 'all'?

Polling does not work after changing polling interval
Hi, When adding resource monitor snmp Partition Details of the Device (%) to my server and changing the polling interval to 5 minutes, it doesn't seem to poll the disk. It will give me the correct percentage immediately after adding the monitor, after that no values are added. Anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance
monitor Process or monitor Port of Process, which better???
hi, i just want to monitor the process of windows eg. svchost.exe TCP Port135, i used to monitor this process by using other sw. it allow us to choose the monitored service from the process list retrieved from that server. for OpManager, it work in another way, by specifying TCP port number. i don't know which method is better. Sometime process may error but port 135 still open. So we'll get alert from Opmanager or not in this case. do u have any recommendations? :oops:

Business View Icons
hi, We have a cool map setup with sites and servers and icons that change from green to orange when links are slow to red when links are down. I want my icons to flash though rather than just change colour. Is that possible. It looks like OpManager using png images and what I need is gif images so animation can be used. thanks, Lerwick
Device not responding after successfull discovering
Hi, I'm trying out the free edition of OpManager 6.0 Build 6003. I need some help with a device being reported after some time as "device down", but the discovering of the device is successfull and the polling and for example, the interface statistic is successfull and correct.
