Email notification not working
Hi there, I am trying to configure the alarm profiles so when a device goes down, it will log a ticket in ServiceDesk and email the appropriate people. I've got the logging of the ticket part to work just fine. What I can't get to work is the email part of it. I went into Admin>Mail Server Settings and configured the mail server, then ran the Test Mail and it worked. But when there is a problem with a device (and it has the right profile assigned to it), it will only log a ticket; never sends out
Unable change SNMP login credentials.
We have Windows 2003 server. At some point OpManager stoped to receive cpu/memory/disk utilization data. I discovered that problem is login parameters. OpManager doesn't let me change SNMP credentials from Public to None thorough Server Snapshot/Password. Please, help. Thanks a lot.

AD monitoring error
I have been monitoring AD on 7 Domain controllers for some time now and most of them are working fine. This morning I am trying to add an AD monitor and I am getting the following error: Tag 'insert' can't insert page '/webclient/devices/jsp/AddADService.jsp'. Check if it exists. For input string: "null" .../jsp/AddADService.jsp directory & file does not exist. Is there any reason why all of a sudden this directory & file would have disappeared? Is there some place I can restore it from? Thanks!
SSH2 for CLI
Hello! I want to get data of some devices by using CLI. I have to use SSH (not Telnet). The request from the OpManager to the Device is SSH1. Isn't it possible to set the reuqest with SSH2?? Is there a setting anywhere that I didn't see?? I hope you can help me. Kind Regards, Mok

Reboot server if an url is no longer available
Hi all, On my OpMan 7 (updated to last patch available) I have an option restart service or restart server on the "windows service monitoring" section. Now i have to monitor just an url and if this is not available I have to reboot the server. How can I do this?I created a notification profile with execute program but it does not work. Thanks

Interface down Alarms on 3Com switch
Hi, I'm trying to monitor all our 3Com Superstack III switches on Management Ports only but i'm receiving alarms that the Interface down on different ports. For example: Interface down : ifIndex: 101, ifAdminStatus: 1, ifOperStatus: 2 To troubleshoot it i have gone to the SnapShot of the 3Com device, then to the Interface tab and remove all the Index's present. Then I rediscovered the Interfaces and choose the management ports only so the were the only Index's showing. I still get the Alarms? I'm

Email SMS Noitifications
I have several different notifcations set up on is an email notification to a distribution list on our mail server. The otheres are to the techs cell phones via messaging using our mail server for SMTP. The email notification to the distro list works fine. The issue is with the EMAIL SMS they are never received. Interface error alarms (switches & Routers after upgrade
Hi, Ever since our upgrade to Version 7 of OpManager (patched to 7023), we have noticed that we are getting a large number of "Error Rate" alarms on a large number (over 100) of our switch and router interfaces. Previous to the upgrade we never saw any alarms on interface errors and were under the assumption that all was right in the world of OZ. Performance Monitor - Cannot add Free Disk Space (WMI)
Version 7023. I'm switching from using SNMP to WMI, and have sucessfully changed free disk space performance monitors on other servers, but i have one that just doesn't list the Disk space monitors after i try to add them. I can add CPU Utilization using WMI and it works, just not Disk. Improving Performance
I am attempting to evaluate moving from an Open Source network monitoring solution to OPManager, but have run into a real perfomance bottleneck. Current setup: VMWare ESX Virtual Machine (2 Gb RAM, 2 Processors) for the OPManager station. MSSQL backend database Gigabit Ethernet Connection I have approximately 45 switches (mix of Cisco and DLink) entered and discovered, but the discovery process (or just about any process) is taking a very long time. Are there any tuning parameters that I can set
OpManager 7.0 on 64 bits Debian
After several hours fight on 64 bits Debian ... so now it's working There are several problem I have now, so I'd like to ask if anyone has same and have solution for them: 1) In Discovery I can't use CIDR cause it tell me that discovery failed.... How to disable browser auto-launch?
Hi, I would like to disable the browser auto-launch when the server starts up. This is possible in SD+ by commenting out a section in TrayIconInfo.xml, but since you've implemented a very different code base in OpManager, no such option seems to exist. How to edit user details
When you click Admin � Users Under the User Configuration block there is a list of names with a choice to Edit or delete. If you click the edit tab the only thing you can edit is the password. I want to be able to edit details. The Quick Start Guide gives the impression I can edit Contact details and access details. I have full admin permissions. Nokia IP1220 - CPU/Mem Utilization
Guy's, Has anyone had any success getting a Nokia IP1220 to work in opmanager. I can not get the CPU utilization and Memory Utilization to work properly. I have attached a new mib that I found but it gives an error message. Problem with SNMP OID syntax
I'm having problems with the SNMP OID syntax. When I do a get from this object: .1.3.6.1.4.1.20916.1.2.1.1.2 I get a 4 digit number (temperature), like 2734. This means, it's 27,34 degrees celsius. So, I've changed the syntax into: (.1.3.6.1.4.1.20916.1.2.1.1.2/100) But, then I get the error: The Monitor did not respond to the test request What am I doing wrong? Why can't I edit/delete the custom monitors via the webinterface? Regards, Leon
Erroneous Link Performance Counters
We are having some issue with the way utilization levels and error rates are calculated/reported. We frequently get alerts for high utilization on 1 Mb links between facilities, but when we check, the actual level is much lower. The attached PDF shows OpManager reporting utilization over 1 Gb in one direction and over 8 Gb in the other even though the interface is only capable of 1 Gb. Have you seen problems like this and is there a way to correct? Thanks.
