Changing ESX host monitors polling frequency
Hi, Is there a way to change the polling frequency of the monitors to an ESX host? By default they are all at 5 minutes and if you edit the monitor, you can't change the preriod. The same polling is assign to the host itself meaning that data is collected every 5 minutes, does this mean that if the server loose network connectivity a critical alarm will be raise only 25 minutes later? (5 polling with a ping failed) 1 ping failed after 5 minutes (1 x 5min) will raise a Attention alarm 3 ping failed
Restore DB in OpManager 8050
I can't restore the database in OpManager 8050. Hello All, I installed OPManager in CentOS 64bit and I cant start OPManager. Shortcut icon sending false alarms
Hello I'm having a little problem with opmanager shortcuts, sometimes one shortcut starts alarming a device problem, but when the problem is solved and the device is up, the shortcut still "not green", even with all the devices inside cleared. thanks
Layer2 Topology Map giving out "Error!"
Hi, when we access the Layer2 Topology Map all we get is "error!" on an empty page. i tried what was suggested here https://forums.manageengine.com/topic/error-msg-while-mapping-layer-2-topology-map It didn't solve the problem. I'm using at the moment OpManager v 9101 on top of SQL Server Express. What can be done to fix this? Best regards
OpManager Tab customization
We are currently doing a Trial of the OpManager 9 and i was wondering if it was possible to add a tab to the top bar to link to custom pages? For example we currently use EventLog Analyzer and it would be nice to be able to add a tab to the top main navigation bar that would link us to the Eventlog Analyzer login page, this way we could access everything from the OpManager site.

Temperature display on dashboard
Hi, I have few questions. I want to create Dashboard monitor for temperature and humanity status. SNMP traps are working, and I get alarm notification if I have some issues in datacenter. I would like to achieve to have like performance monitor on dashboard that would show the temperature and humidity. We are using APC environment equipment, and I downloaded the MIB from APC site. I tried to create monitor that will show us status, but with no luck… Is that even posible. Best regards, Edin

File Monitor - already exists error
I deleted and re-discovered some servers, in order to get the "installed software" populated. Now I have a problem, building back in the File Monitors which I had built under the server. I have no FileMonitor Templates built. When I try to create a new file Monitor, opmanager errors, stating a File Monitor already exists with that name. So apparently the individual file monitor, which previously was built under that server, did not get cleaned out of the database, when I deleted the server device.
Opmanager 9001 migration MSSQL2005 to MSSQL2008R2
Old install went to default instance :1433 New db location goes to named instance running on port 51726 databaseconfiguration.bat seems to drop the "\" character when I try to enter DB Host name as: ServerName\InstanceName Is the correct Driver Jar for this connection, what shows as: mysql\mmmysqlDriver\mysql_connector.jar ? I also had to change the classes\jtds-1.0.3.jar to classes\jtds=1.2.2.jar I'll check the forum for response after lunch, and make a tech support call if none exists.
Move DB from MySQL to MSSQL2008 R2
It seems sooo easy to do it,... but after 3 days looking for any tutorial, PDF, forums, questions and replies : i'm not able to do it.... i reinstall a sql2008 R2 server from scratch. Unable to integrate Opmanager Prof and NFA Prof+

We have installed Opmanager Professional and NFA Professional Plus (not NFA plugin) on the same server and we are unable to integrate both tools under admin->add on/product settings in the Opmanager Server. We have tried different options as using the hostname/IP address, enterprise/professional version and we have double checked that the credentials are ok, but when we press the "test connection and save" button it keeps telling "Unable to establish connection to Netflow Server"

URL - more features request
Hi, Since more years there were more requests to have the posibility to add the URL into Business Groups, as not always the URL is related to a device. In some cases we only need to know the status of that specific URL but we don;t control or manage the server / device. Do you have any news on this? Also, it will be very nice to have the posibility to give restricted access to users to specific URLs. I have now a request from my boss to give him access to 3 URL. I have more then 20 URL and 3xx devices.

Hello, I am trying to install opManager to RHEL (Redhat Enterprise Linux) 6.2. This is what I downloaded: ManageEngine_OpManager_64bit.bin. I read the install instructions here http://www.manageengine.com/network-monitoring/installing_opmanager.html#linux_install and I found that majority of these packages: XFree86 XFree86–libs XFree86–base–fonts XFree86–xfs fontconfig freetype–devel compat–libstdc++ XFree86–compat–libs compat–libs are not supported by RHEL 6.2. (mainly which starts with XFree86)

Subnet Objects Incorrectly Categorize
Under the subnets maps we have several subnets where objects in the subnets with addresses that aren't right for the subnet map they are in. Is there any way to move them to the correct subnet list? Also, I'd like to be able to report on subnet inventories. Would you consider that for future releases please? Thanks.

Custom monitor for linux load not working
Hello, I create a monitor using this OID to get linux 1 minute load avarege: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.10.1.3.1. The snmpwalk and the opmanager monitor test works fine, see the attachments. But, the graph no works, still getting "No Data Avaliable" message.
OpManager "Email Notification Profiles" not working....
Hi. I have setup an OpManager instance wanted to test the email notifications to see if it works. We use Google mail so we are talking to smtp on TLS or SSL. For some reason when i setup the mail settings and do a test message it works fine. But when i setup an email notification profile and then try to do a test it does not send the mail, it just hangs. Hi Support Team, I want to know whether OPM actually offers the option of MapMaker or nor? I saw some employee had said there was no the option available in OPM 8 and it would be coming in new version in some topics in Forums, but now I have upgraded the version to ver 9011 and still found nothing about MapMaker in OPM folder. And if you still can't offer the MapMaker, is there other way to rename the business view and support Chinese name? I think it will help you develop the OPM marketing
Service Monitor missing in Windows XP machines
Hi, We have added a group in opmanager(Infrastructure snapshot) and that group has Windows XP machines, in that i couldn't see Windows Service monitor where in windows 2003& 2008 Servers i can see those monitor. Please let me know how to enable those monitors into Windows XP machines as well. And i have tried all possible options but didnt help, even there is a option to add individual services to particular machines but after adding the service those services are not reflecting in monitor. How do I populate "Installed Software", for a server?

Idea - I would like to add a URL to a Business View
I have built business views by Applications. I have one main Business View which is titled "companyName Applications", within that are links to other business views, such as Intranet/Extranet, Biztalk Environments, etc I would like to be able to just add a hyperlink to that main Business View, so that I could put in a link to our Outage Announcements, which we have posted in Sharepoint. OP Manager SMS Alert function is broken
As the title says, the current OPM9 SP1 does not work very well with SMS alerting. I recently added a new URL monitor profile which works fine. When I add it to our Email Notification Profile, an email is sent as soon as the url goes down and when the status gets cleared. If I add it to our SMS Notification Profile instead, an email is only send when the status gets cleared, the alarm does not trigger it. This also shows, that a Desktop Exhaustion alert, which always has been working on OPM8 , does
SNMP traps clear other traps
Basically, Dell can send traps for both things going bad and things going ok. It would be nice if you could set the 'ok' traps to clear certain bad traps. Maybe makes this a manual setting in the trap setup. For instance, a drive fails and makes the array non-redundant. I'd like to be able to map the 'array ok' trap to clear the 'array non-redundant' trap.

Exporting all configured values that are being monitored?
Hello, Is there a way to export all items that have been configured for monitoring, for all devices? For example we have a Windows 2008 R2 server, some disk items are configured for monitoring, services, processes. OpManager Daily Server Disk Usage Giving Inaccurate Space
Greetings, I am using OpManager build 8050 to monitor my VMware servers. I had scheduled a daily report that shows the total capacity and usage, as well as available disk spaces of each drives for my VMware servers. The reports shows inaccurate value of the sizes, the difference is a few GBs but on one instance a server's drive had a different of 30GB. The free space showed in Disk Management of the server in VMware has 50GB, but from the OpManager report it shows 80GB of free space. Is there anyway

Conditional Windows Service Monitor
We have a couple Windows services which are not supported for clustering. We are monitoring this Windows Service on two servers. If the service is shut-off on one server, it turns on, on the other server.
