hi, I used an Active Directory account setting up some devices and used the setting "Use the below credential for the device". Now I can't locate the server that I setup with the AD account and it keeps locking the account. Is there a way I can easily file what devices are using what accounts? The account is not setup in Global Parameters or it has been deleted from there! thanks, Lerwick
Missing Notification Feature
The ability to monitor Linux and Windows processes is extremely useful and we congratulate you for adding that feature. In using it for notifications however we find it limited because when setting up notifications, unlike service or windows service monitors where you can select the specific services you want to be notified on, the process monitor selection only allows the selection of all monitored processes - you can't select specifics to be notified on. MS SQL server FQDN change
We have just migrated our network to a new AD domain structure. This means that the FQDN of the MS SQL server has changed. How do I modify OpManager to point to sqlserver.newdomain.com from sqlserver.olddomain.com. I tried using DBConfiguration.bat but it only reports that a database already exists. I've temporarily worked round the problem by creating an A record in olddomain.com for sqlserver. Any help would be appreciated as olddomain.com is to be retired soon.

Serious problems with opmanager 7201 "unable to fetch m
Hi I have run into some big problems with our opmanager system. When i click a device I just get the following message �Unable to fetch Managed Object details for the object : computername.domain�. I have updated our software to the latest version, i also patched the software with the 7201 patch wich should solve this issue. I have tried to run repairDB.bat without results. Is there any way for me to get our monitoring system up and running again? Please assist me in this issue. Best regards.
Monitoring Multiple Hard Drives
I searched through the forums for an answer to this because surely someone has already asked but I can not figure out how to monitor multuple hard drives on a single server with OpManager. I would like to use WMI and have OpManager have seperate alerts to let me know if the C: or D: or E: are nearing capacity. 3 seperate alerts. By default, OpManager seems to sum the drives together or maybe this is a WMI limitation. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Pinging Multiple IP Addresses simultaneously

Exchange 2007 Monitoring Problems
Hi, I am trying to set up Exchange 2007 monitoring on Opmanager but can't get it to work. Are there any things i need to set up first to get this running. I have 2 Servers Running Exchange 2007 Hub Transport + Client Access Modes and 2 Servers Running a SCC Active/Passive Exchange 2007 Mailbox Role. Whenever i try to set up Exchange 2007 monitoring on any servers using any options all i get is the following error 80041010 - Specified class is invalid. Try running 'wmiadap /f'(For Windows XP and 2003)

We have recently upgraded to SP2 (Build 7200) and I've noticed that the All Devices Availability Report is in a new format which is pretty cool, however I report to management on the down time of certain devices in the old style of Hrs / Mins / Secs. OpManager 7.201 - can't see interface charts
We lost interface charts after we updated to 7.2 + Hotfix. Intefaces are shown and they show current traffic counters like this: 65540 HP NC7782 G... 1 Gbps 1 Gbps IF-sc-pd-acrm0... 33.623 kbps (0.0%) 99.681 kbps (0.01%) 0 But when I click on the interface to see details, it says: Sorry, no data available for Graph. Try other options 7-days chart shows data before the date of the Opmanager 7.2 upgrade. It happens for all devices: servers, routers, switches. Please help!

Problem With OpManager Snapshot View

Opmanager linux
I tried the linux version of opmanager and the install went fine. When I tried to start it it failed. There seemed to be some libraries missing. Opmanager seemed to be looking for older versions of some libraries. I gave up and tried the windows version. The windows version works great. I hope to get the linux version up.. Thanks for the great software.

Loading MIBS - Frustrated!
I used the trial version for 30 days and was able to load the MIBS i needed for Motorola Canopy SM's, BH's and AP's easily and they worked. I have sense purchased the program and loaded it onto my server and deleted everything off of my laptop! I am not realizing that was a HUGE mistake where i could have just ran a backup and I would have been fine. Well now that I have a "Fresh install" on my server, I cannot get ANY of my MIBS to work. Another Useful Feature Addition
It would be useful to be able to re-categorize a group of devices by IP subnet as many of our subnets are specialized device connectivity like power supplies or environmental systems monitors etc. Since we find those devices by doing a search on the subnet itself, if there was an option on that "search results" page to select and re-categorize the devices listed it would save us many hours of time.

Device Template credentials
Hi, I have create a device template for HP Proliant Servers, configured as follows: Vendor: Hewlett-Packard Category: Server Oid: .1.3.6.1.4.1.microsoft.software.1.3.1.2 (returned from querying the device) I've added some monitors to it and it seems to work okay but the problem is that in the device itself, when I select the Passwords option, it keeps giving me the Telnet/SSH option instead of the Windows logon. General installation / setup question
I have three of your software installed on one virtual server: OpManager AppManager EventLog Analyzer I started with the trial versions, then let them lapse to free. In observing the VM in the VMware Infrastructure Client, it uses a lot of CPU and almost all of its allotted RAM compared to other installed VMs. Even though RDP'ing into it suggests a low usage in Task Manager, Performance, though frequent CPU spikes. Problem deleting multiple switch interfaces after SP2
Prior to SP2, I was able to select multiple interfaces from switches and delete them without issue. Now when trying this operation it tells me it is unable to delete the interfaces. If I just delete a single interface at a time it works properly.
Discover services on machine gives Access Denied
Hi, I'm trying to discover the services on a number of machines in a remote site. I have added their admin credentials to OpManager, and when testing them they pass on SNMP and fail on WMI (we don't use WMI, so this shouldn't be of concern). Performance monitors all work correctly, however when I try to add Windows Services and discover the services on the machine, I get an access denied error. What could be causing this? Hello, We are trying to migrate from Nagios to OpManager and are having a few problems. 1. I can't get a Cisco 3750 switch to monitor properly. The credentials test passes for both snmp and cli but testing the monitors fails. Invalid license error with error 535
Dear Support our customer has experienced with "Invalid License error" with Error code 535. Finally we've to reinstall OpMgr again and reactivate our purchased license. Before patch version is OpMgr 7 with patch 7101. Then after reinstall we patch to 7102. OS : windows 2003 SP1 Our customer would like to prevent "invalid license error" occur. DHCP scope monitor issue
When i try to add a DHCP server.. I click add new DHCP server link and the put in the IP/name of dhcp server.. then click get scope.. then It says DHCP server addes sucessfull at the top above.. where i put in the info.. but down below there is NO DHCP server. Port numbering on new switch is incorrect
Hi there, I've just been playing around with the Switch Port Mapper as I've never properly used it before. My development network consists of two Extreme Networks Summit switches and two Cisco 4948 switches. For the Extreme switches, each switchport number (ifName) matches up to the Port No shown by OpUtils, for example ifName 1/1 equals Port No. 1, ifName 1/2 equals Port No. 2, and so on - which is just fine.
