Hi, I have created one SNMPv3 init account and two more accounts using usmUserTable. However, if I am deleting the init account, it is deleting the other two accounts as well. Is this behavior correct??
Cisco router vlan problem
I have a Cisco cisco WS-C6509-E that is L3 switch that we are actually using as router. 1. Is it possible if we put automatic rediscovery on it then it rediscovers is as router not switch? 2.We have alot of routed Vlan interfaces there and it creates additional same vlan per every secondary ip we have on that vlan, for example If we have five different ip addresses on one vlan interface it creates 5 vlans in opmanager with same name. Hello, Can we upgrade already from V12 to V12.1? We're running V12 but it has a lot of bugs, we need to install V12.1 asap. We're paying for a license including upgrades & patches, we haven't seen a lot of service packs last 2 years.. Waste of money?

Getting Fatal Error
Hi, Am using WebNMS 4.7 in one of the swing Application launched through java WebStart. After 3-4 client connections am getting the following error Dialog, while login: "Fatal error has occurred on connecting to the server. The server might probably be busy to allow client connections. Please reconnect or try after some time." The server gets free in about 20 mins, and after that am able to login. Can anybody please help me understand in which scenarios the WebNMS framework throws this error or what
Can't find File Monitoring
Hi, I'm trying to activate the File Monitoring within OpManager, as instructed on the Documentation: https://www.manageengine.com/network-monitoring/file-folder-monitor.html I tried to add an APM Plugin File Monitor but the probe won't let me specify the file age (the parameter I need to observe) so it's not useful EDIT actually APM *will* let me specify the file age, still I'd like to keep most of the monitors under OpManager. I can't find at all the described page under Settings, Monitoring, Monitors:
OpManager 11600 not clearing CPU WMI alarms
Hi, We seem to have a problem where CPU WMI alarms are not clearing after the utilisation goes back down. The monitor was correctly triggered, however for whatever reason it no longer clears. I believe my settings are correct, is this a known issue with OpManager with SP11600? A number of months ago we migrated Opmanager from a Windows 2003 Server to Windows 2012 (I ensured the exact same service pack was applied before restoring the data). Workflow to check External Website
Is it possible on Opmanager 12.1 to create a workflow to http to an external website, and notify if no response? I tried to create a new workflow, added check URL to http://www.cnn.com, and then if no response , send an email to myself. After that, the only option is trigger, but trigger requires you to pick a device. I don't have a device for www.cnn.com, so I'm unable to save the workflow. Is it possible to create a workflow like this? Workflow looks like a very useful feature. Thanks, Dan
Clear Alarm Issue
So we monitor several processes on servers our notification profile is using the recurring trigger to email the group in charge of fixing the issue every 30 minutes until the process is back up. the problem is after the issue is "clear", the "clear" alert letting them know it's fixed sends out an email every 30 minutes after that. If I pull up active alarms on the server, I see the "clear" alerts, status clear, technician unassigned. I currently need to manually acknowledge the alerts so the emails

How to remove IPAM and NCM Modules from OPManager 12.1
Is there any way to remove the IPAM module from OPManager 12.1? When Logging in, I keep getting messages that I have exceeded the number of addresses that can be monitored by the IPAM. I don't want the IPAM or NCM modules. Is there any way to disable them?

OpManager v12 REST API
Hi, I am looking at the REST API documentation here: http://help.opmanager.com/rest_api In the alert section, most APIs require the parameter 'entity'. It then adds that entity uniquely identifies the failure object within the source.Events will be correlated into alarms according to the entity field. Multiple events with the same entity will be grouped as a single alarm. So are entities the interfaces of a certain device or are they something else? Thank you.

Questions about OpManager Central and Probes
Good Morning. I want to purchase OpManager Enterprise for our company, but i have some questions to ask: 1.- Can i create notification profiles and device templates on Central that can replicate after to OpManager Probes? Question is because a friend of mine have tried to configure on Central but when he checks dispositives on his Probe server those templates aren't replicating over there. 2.- Can i have 2 equipments with same Ip address but in different probe servers? Comunication problem with central and probe
Hi, I use opmanager to monitoring Customer infrastructure. I have in my datacenter, the central installation and i just connected 5 probe. I follow the basic instruction I have two problem: 1 - the alarms showed in the central not are alligned with the probe; 2 - when I reboot the central server, after, I have to reboot all probes because in the central the probes go offline and not retourn online. Have you got some suggestion?

WMI - workgroup
My environment, a physical server desktop. In this physical server I have the HyperV installed and with two VMs running on Windows domain. In both virutuais machines WMI works normally, but on the physical host that is in workgroup WMI does not work. SNMP functions normally, but most of the monitors that are necessary WMI. OPManager's URL alert shows URL is down and then up and it seems the real site is not down.

How to change the graphic data interval
I set the monitoring interval to 5 Min. When displaying the interface traffic graphic, if the period set to today,the graphic data interval is 5mins. if the period set to this month, the graphic data interval is 24 hours. Too few data, so the graphic is not representative. How can I change the graphic data interval to 5mins when I set the period to this month? Thanks.
Auto Add Device Note field value
Is there anyway we can auto add the value for a device note field. Currently we are now only using 1 field name in the device notes. We would like to auto add a static value to the 1 field name when a device is added to Opmanager.
Opmanager 12.1 Removing SQL monitors
Hello, In my discovery, MS SQL monitors were added. Because these monitors are set with default values, they are almost always in some form of alarm. I would like to remove all ms sql monitors until I can define thresholds, and then re add them. Problem is I cant find a way to remove said monitors en masse. I can do it per server, but there are a lot of them. Is there a way to remove all MS SQL monitors from all devices? Thanks, Blane
Change/Fix Opmanager URL in notification email
We have opmanager using a SSL so the URL should start with HTTPS, but when a user received a notification email from our opmanager server the url in any of the hyperlinks all start with HTTP. How can we change or fix the issue so all hyperlinks in the URL start with HTTPS? Under Settings->Basic Settings->Server Settings the server port is set for 443.
Opmanager - interface down alarms - Generate Alarms option.
Hi I have read many posts on the topic, but there still does not seem to be an useable answer. Problem: Opmanager generates alarms for any switch ports that are down on a managed device. Scenario: The main problem is having alarms on access switch ports. Alerts on routers or core-switches are a good idea, but on access switches, alarms are a nuisance. I have approx 2400 access ports, and with say 10% of those spare, there are a lot of alarms. Disabling polling or management means we lose out on
MS SQL Server - monitor multiple instances and mirroring state
We are using SQL Server mirroring. I would like to setup monitors to check is the mirror is running. I would like to know two things: Which databases should be in mirror Which databases mirror is being paused or anything else that's other than running. Our SQL Server has multiple instances, but OpManager discovers only the default instances and not the named instances. How can I add named instances and how can I monitor mirrored databases?
Remove alarm generation - VMWare
Is it possible to remove certain alarms generated from VCenter? for example we currently get a number of alarms generated (attention level) when a new VM is created or when a VMotion takes place. As most of the time we are the ones actually completing this take we would like to stop this alarm from being generated We are using 11600 if that helps.
