OpManager 6 service crashes daily
Hello, We use the most recent update OpManager 6. since 4 months, our OpManager service crashes everyday. The time differs every day, but mostly in the night. In the Windows Eventlog, it only tells me that the OPManager services (both!) stopped unexpectly --> The ManageEngine OpManager service entered the stopped state. The ManageEngineOpManagerApache service entered the stopped state. By manually restarting the service (from Services.msc ), OpManager continues to run (for 16 hours or so...). I suspect
Windows 2003 R2 64 bit network auto discovery fails
"The Netgroup Packet Filter service failed to start due to the following error: This driver has been blocked from loading" "\SystemRoot\SysWow64\drivers\npf.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver." Heres the event logs. Looked through KB, manuals, not luck. New to 64bit so maybe I need to tell it to use 32bit for sys file.
The Monitor did not respond to the test request
Hi, I tring to configure the Disk Utilization in Performance Monitors using CLI protocol, but i recieve this error message when i execute a test "The Monitor did not respond to the test request". no Interface view on router/switch devices

Inventory SnapShot
How to add network devices to Inventory SnapShot (license bought). Devices don't appear on "Hardware : Assets By Manufacturer" but ... some of them appears in "Software : Assets By OS". How to force in order to add devices to Inventory SnapShot? Short info: OpManager MSP Edition 6004 version. Device licensed - unlimited. Never expires. SNMP works correctly om each device.

Hello. Anyone know what happened to the monthly pricing plan for MSP's that was offered? that is the one reason i was going to use this product and if they take that away there is NO WAY I can afford it.
Downtime Schedule
If you setup an "downtime schedule" for a group of devices (IE; Destops) where you do not want to be notifed during the evening hours, but do want to be notified during the day. This is wonderful except when you go in and take the time to disable those devices you do not want pinged, but you do want statisitics on, it puts all of those back to be monitored as well once the schedule time has passed. We have a customer where we want to monitor the statistics of the desktop, but not whether it is up
Alerting on Monitors not responding
Currently there is NO WAY to know if a resource that is being checked is actually responding. If a resource monitor, or any other monitor, is set to poll at certain intervals and gets no data back I think an alert should be generated. For instance, we did a mail server upgrade last week and I just noticed today that the cpu, memory, and disk were not being graphed. This was due to an ip change and I would have caught it much sooner if it were to alert me of this problem. The ip address was still

Lost Resource Monitor Data
I testing currently the MSP Ed. After a couple of Days I lost on several Servers the WMI Based Resource Monitors like Processor, Memory and Disk capacity. I tray to configure again but it�s not possible. We need a solid System because we want provide this as a Service for our Customers. How I can fix this Problem or what is the Problem? only see 2 port instead of all on cisco 800
Hello, When i set snmp on a cisco 800 series, and i rediscover the device i only see 2 ports. when i rediscover the interfaces on the device i see all the ports, but in the router view i only see the 2 ports that where discovered on the first time. in the detailed view i see all the interfaces. what could be the problem? regards sjoerd
FBserver is taxing the processor
FBserver and java is making the proccessor zoom at 100% utilization. I have this on a server that has a 1.4 Ghz processor and 4 gig of Ram. We just patched the SQL to the latest security update and it still has not gone down. Can you tell me what we can do to get this to run properly? Thanks, Mark
Problem when running a Discovery on a subnet Version 7
Hi all, when I run the discovery for a complate subnet range, Opmanager just does nothing for hours, however when I do it for address range less then 20 it working fine. Is that a limitation of the demo version ?, I have not seen it documented anywhere.

hi, I have Opmanager7 (7004), and I'm struggling to use this application as a stable environment for monitoring my infrastructure. Can you please help? I have SNMP on my devices on my network. huge log files in apache folder
Hello, i have three huge log files in the apache folder named: access_log 1,7GB ssl_request_log 1,8 GB error_log 3,8GB the are stored in the following folder: C:\Program Files\AdventNet\ME\Central\apache\logs can i delete them or on any other way shrink them to a normal size. regards Sjoerd

Our Opmanager 6 database is about 20G now, still using Mysql. Can anyone tell me how to drop the databases but keep all the configuration and the business view setup? Thanks.

I see there is a Linux probe for Opmanager v7 but is there a Windows probe? I thought I remembered having the option a few months back when I was testing v6. As a general rule, we don't install SNMP on our servers and not everything is getting discovered with WMI alone! Thanks. Alan

Ok, im trying to move opmanager from a lab computer to a real server and im not able to do it, here's what im doin: labpc: run the backupdb.bat script Result: the backup runs just fine. serverpc: install opmanager apply the patch to version 7004 (same as labpc) apply licence run restoredb.bat script result: NOTHING!! Hi, At the moment we use Kaseya for our MSP solutions, which involve an agent on every pc/server/laptop, which was great for helping mobile workers. My question is how can this be done with opmanger? Also with Kaseya we were able to give a link for remote support using vnc on an ad hock basis. How can I do this with opmanager? Multiple Links In Business Vies
Hi, I have some devices (i.e Firewalls) that use several unbound ethernet connections into our core switch. When I try to add these into the OP Manager business view I get the alert "these devices are already linked" How can I monitor each connection link? 2 of 6 Domain Controller monitors not working.

Cisco Temperature Performance Monitors
I have multiple 6500 Cisco switches. I added the Temperature monitor in the Admin -> Device Templates. Once the monitor was added, all the temperature monitors specific to the switch was added. How do I modify each individual Threshold temperature, such as VTT 1 outlet, EARL Outlet, asic-1, etc., so that it is reflected in all the switches of the same type?

All Servers Disk Report Problem.
Since early in version 6 there has been an issue with the All Servers Disk Report. It shows all the drives but does not show them in any particular order when the report is emailed. This makes it extremely difficult to read the report. I was told this problem would be fixed in a hotfix for v. 6 but it hasn't, nor has it been corrected with the release of 7. Wanted to make you aware of it again. David.
