Have to rediscover devices

hi,

I have Opmanager7 (7004), and I'm struggling to use this application as a stable environment for monitoring my infrastructure. Can you please help?

I have SNMP on my devices on my network. I have various SNMP community strings dependant upon what network the devices are in and who supports the devices.

I have created several credentials covering all SNMP strings we use.

I have configured the SNMP Parameters to be the most used SNMP string.

The Problem...
When I discover a device it never seems to discover it properly, i.e. it makes a cisco device a desktop etc. Once I have manually changed the device details it seems to work for a while, but it never works all the time, I lose information about memory utilization and CPU utilization, as well as interface stats. One way to get this info monitoring again is to rediscover the device again.

I cannot keeep rediscovering the device, it's leaving massive wholes in the monitoring and making this package unuseable.
