Asset Printers - New Scan
All, I go to Asset home, printers and new scan and then choose the domain from the drop down list and then the page refreshes and clears anything i have on the screen. It wont let me pick my domain and then click on scan. Is this an issue? Thanks Martin

Some of log messages have wrong time stamp.
Hi everybody. I have a window server 2003, run event log analyzer 6 and a linux client, run syslog-ng to forward logs to server 2k3. At the first time it run perfectly but after a while I found that there are some messages that have the time stamp approx 5 hours in the future from real time. I found a thread also has problem wit time stamp but it occur with version 5, window 2008 and all the message were affected. Any ideas about that??? Thanks
Problem with scheduled report showing incorrect data
I have created a matrix report to show created requests for the current month and then scheduled it to run at 6.15 in the morning and send me the report. On checking the data it is not correct against the data in service desk when I create a custom view on requests today for example the automated report is showing 8 requests opened yesterday but when I check the data only 7 are showing. On running the scheduled report manually it is showing the correct information. How can I resolve this problem?
7.6 Mac Issue with '&' in the requester name
Hi, I believe we have found a Mac only issue with 7.6. If a requester name has an '&' in it on a Windows machine it shows as '&' but on the Mac it shows as '&'. The issue is that the system doesn't recognize '&' as being '&' and asks if you want to add a new requester on saving the request. Steps we took: new request press find requester button select requester save ticket prompted with messageOn a Windows machine the display is correct and it does not appear to be an issue. [File monitor] A few strange behaviors :)
Hi, Nice SP, installation went well and all seem great, I tried the file monitor and got some weird behaviors. There is a little glitch on the "Test Monitor" function. If the monitored file does not exist, there is a javascript error that appears, line 7452, char 3, error is "Object Required". I know the file does not exists, but I expected the same popup with a red "File does not exists" instead of a javascript error :) As I wrote this message, I made some check, and a really weird thing happens...

Issue with Opmanager 8040
Since updating Opmanager to 8040 the schedule reports have stop working. This happened a while ago where the clases folder was sent to correct this problem. Please can you resolve this issue asap.
After the Upgrade of Opmanager 8 to SP4
After installing the SP4 my Domain controllers have problems with the CPU monitoring. The CPU Utilization is using the SNMP OID: AD.OS.Total.PercentProcessorTime in stead of SNMP OID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2. That means that i always receive error because the total is around 100% and not the current 1% How can i solve this
Alarms are not clearing on their own
I have two devices that have alarms stating they are down but I have tested both within opmanager using the Ping tool and they both are active but the alarms will not clear by itself. Thanks, Joe

Linux SDP 7.6 Upgrade Problem
Hi there, I was trying to update my SDP 7514 to build 7600 but I get the error: No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it. - reverted to old build Our server is operating with the linux distribuition OpenSuse 11.1, we do not have installed any X interface, does the update really need it? We just upgraded to the latest SDP and switched the database to MS SQL. Netflow Analyzer 6.1 Build 6100 PDF reports graphs not looking correct
Anyone have this issue? Been using this feature for over 2 years and recently my PDF reports of interface activity (the graphs specifically) are looking goofy By that I mean, the colors that display in and out traffic are all messes up in the graph. When looking at the graph in the application, it looks fine, its just the PDF version is messed up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

add new technician to group: technician does not receive mailnotification
Hi, I added a new technician (DMS.GLS) to an existing group, but he does not receive a mailnotification when a new SDR is assigned to the group. (other members do receive the mail) [group mailnotification.gif] I verified the technician-details (e-mail setting), which are ok [gls.gif] Deleting and re-creating the technician does not solve the problem. Monitoring file age in build 8030
When monitoring the file age (using the file monitor in build 8030), Opmanager uses the file creation time to trigger alerts. We would like to monitor the modified time of a file. I.e. Opmanager should send an alert if the file hasn't been modified for 30 minutes. Is this possible?

Performance slow and wrong alerts
Hi, We have some issues with our Application Manager. We've installed 190 monitors on a windows server (1 Xeon 2.4 CPU, 2GB mem) and the monitor is reporting more and more false alerts about the health. The CPU is often on 100%, so we decided to place an extra CPU, but now we notice *** DEAD *** queries in MySQL Administrator. Removing Process Monitors in 8030
Hi! I've updated my OpManager Version to 8030. After I restarted the server a view process monitors went to "unavailable". Unfortunately I am not able to delete them. I'm not able to delete any of them no matter if the process monitor is up or down. Hint: I've added the same process monitor again and saw a difference between the old and the new ones. The old one gets his data over SNMP the new one over WMI. (but I still can't delete any of them) Also all the process monitors on our domain controller
AppManager bug? error in application with snmp?
Hi, I have a situation with a Solaris system running snmp. The snmpd daemon was stopped like 15 days ago but for some reason AppManager was aware of it but did not tell or report anything wrong in the application. Better yet, it keeps telling that that server was up and running but there was no data from it. This is the only msg that gives when I poll manually from website: SNMP Agent is not running in the System . Kindly start the SNMP Agent for Monitoring. And so, I still have like an old
desktop central server crash
I have a easily repeatable problem with inventory report "software by computer". The report has around 38,000 items and when I try to run it the Central Server crashes and the service restarts. Any ideas? I suspect that the java is running out of memory but I'm not sure where or if the limit is defined. The OS is server 2008 and the machine has 8Gb of memory and quite low CPU utilisation. The engine version is 7 with the 7.003 service pack installed. I can't say for sure if the problem existed before

We have several problems after upgrading to the latest build. 7.6.0 Build 7601. We are no longer able to attach files to Preventative Maintenance tickets and all of the PM tickets that we currently have, no longer have their .PDF attachments. Also we no longer receive notifications when a ticket is assigned to a technician. Service Desk seems to react Please advise. Thank you!

Hello, I created a role for the technicians with all the appropriate permissions. When the technician logs in and tries to create a new ticket is throws up an error about not being within the scope. (see permissions assigned). When I log in as the adminstrator I notice that the request is in the system.
7.6 No Techs showing to assign tickets to...
Hello, After upgrading to 7.6 I am unable to assign tickets to techs. When I select the 'Technician' drop down box it is empty. If I try to change the 'Site' the requester is in (which should then change which techs are available for me to assign to the ticket) I still have no techs shown in the Technician field and also recieve the attached IE error- Note: I have tried this from multiple computers.

Technician drop down list is blank
I have a problem after upgrading to version 7600. A request comes in via email. I can assign a technician from the Assign menu item. If I edit the reuest, the technician will be blank. If I click on that field the technician drop down is empty. What is going on? How do I fix? --Patrick
