Hi, I updated my version of ServiceDesk Plus to the version 7608. But I noticed two things : some of my reports programmed have gone and I can't export my reports in XLS format (other formats works). The pdf document attached is the error generated by the Help Desk. Any Ideas ? Regards Bast
Partial Import of the users from AD
HI, I am able to import the users from AD but the number of requesters imported are not matching with the number that is shown in Admin->Requesters tab. Eg: When i import the users from AD, the output shows that it has imported 1400 users whereas when i go check the Admin-Requesters page it shows only 700 odd users. Credential Details - Apply Global Parameters WMI FAILED
Hello, Using Opmgr 8720. I have added a Windows 2003 Server running SQL 2008. When I choose to use "Apply Global Parameters" and choose the correct AD login and "Test Credential", I get DENIED. When I use the exact same login information (domainuame and pw) under "Use the below credential for the device" and choose "Test Credential", I get PASSED. I can then monitor the CPU, DISK and RAM, but am unable to monitor SQL using for latter. Please advise. I have not installed 8721 because it caused
iPhone Safari Crashes
Whenever I try to log into Service Desk from my iPhone, the Safari App shuts down. I have tried rebooting the device, clearing the history and cache, none of which seems to work. I have updated to the latest version of Service Desk and this still made no difference. Business view breaks after HotFix 8721
The upgrade went without a hitch, however I can no longer view the business view we created. Has anyone else experiencing this issue? How may we correct it? Thank you so much. Rob
Recall of a saved forwarded mail shows no content
When we created a request and we want to forward this to any mailadres, there is a possiblity to send/save/send for review or to cancel it. After saving you can retrieve this "concept" on top of the request, BUT the Description is empty. The mailadres and subject are saved, not the description. And this is of course the most important piece. Thank you for your help.
MySQL to MSSQL database problem
I have changed databases from MySQL to MSSQL. I have followed the instructions from the converting steps but am having an issue. When I run restoreData.bat and select the latest backup, it looks like it restores everything correctly except I am unable to login. Previously, I was using AD with Pass-Through enabled. When I run a query for users in the database, the tables are empty.
SNMP CPU/DISK/MEM utilization monitors
Hi! We are using the OpManager for network monitoring some ISP`s network. For some reason a few devicers that are added to the system, are not displaying the CPU/MEM/DISK utilization. I tried everything, from deleting and adding the device and utilization monitors. I can´t receive twitts when a service is down but when the service is getting up the twitt is received..
can anyone help me?? i´m tryin to probe if the twitts are working, i changed the IP of my router inside the opmanager (i don't touch my router) to simulate a shutdown, the opmanager shows me the alert but any twitt is sending, but when i return the correct ip on the opmanager, i receive the twitt telling me the service now is OK. what am i doing wrong?? regards

Device-integration between opmanager and sdp not functioning
Hi I have both opmanger and sdp running on the same machine in the most recent versions. My problem is that not all my opmanager devices allows me to see the corresponding sdp requests, I can do it for one device but cannot make it work on others. What's is the link between the devices in the integration and how come only one device is functioning? Any help appreciated Regards, Poul
Need to rebuild MSSQL server back-end
Hi, I installed OpManager build 8720 and the NFA plug-in on a server and attached them to another MSSQL server. On the server where I installed the MSSQL I also installed the DeviceExpert. Unfortunately the customer needs to format and rebuild the MSSQL server from the scratch. How I can procede? I thought to: - backup the OpManager and NetFlow DB: how??? - backup the DeviceExpert DB: how??? - stop the services on both the servers - the customer rebuild the server from the scratch: Win 2008 + MSSQL
OpManager Integration Issue
I am trying to setup integration with our Opmanager server. The issue that I am having is that because we are using Active Directory login in Servicedesk it will not let me connect from the Opmanager side because I am guessing the password contains special characters. Also because we purchased five technicians (which is the actual number of people we have using the product) it will not allow me to have a local account to use for the Opmanager tie in, so I am required to use one of my technician

AppManager continues to monitor UnManaged resource
Even after we unmanage a resource, seemingly AppManage continues to monitor the resource and show the red dot on dashboards. I am looking for ways to deal with this bug or annoying feature, what ever it may be as it distorts the view by showing false positives. SD-24467 - Technician details lost on Group EDIT REQUEST
Just been testing the fix in 7604 listed above. From what I can see the headline issue of details being lost when the EDIT REQUEST button is used is resolved. However that sort of uncovers a flaw as far as I can see it - that of in appropriate settings being left on requests. The page only has options for 'LEAVE AS IS' and then specific named items for SITE, GROUP & TECHNICIAN So with a request that is configured as SITE: OFFICE A GROUP: SUPPORT TECH: JOHN You go to EDIT REQUEST and select SITE:
OPManager Distributed Version Generating unwanted mail trafic! ...BUG?
We have recently noticed that the opmanager which we are using for monitoring our network is sending unwanted mails with another sender name than it is been configured! The mails are being send from our central monitoring server. How I can see, all the mails are being generated by an JavaMail.System@... Opmanager build 8700 - issues adding servers
Just wanted to see if anyone else has had an issue adding servers after an upgrade to build 8700? Specifically that when a server is added, it says "Device added successfully." however the machine isn't actually added to the device collection, and can be re-added over and over again, it almost seems like the database isnt being updated or something similar. just wanted to see if anyone else has come up with a solution, thanks,

Error in Adding User: Some Authentication problem - Error Code: 80072030
When I attempt to add a help desk technician from Active Directory I get the error message: "Error in Adding User : Some Authentication problem - Error Code : 8007203. It does not matter which help desk role I assign or if I select "Impersonate as Admin" or not. We are on the latest build 4412 and have not exceeded our license limit. I have also verified that the username and password for the domain settings are correct.

Incorrect values on Windows 2008
Hi Everyone, We recently migrated our file server over to Windows 2008. I've got SNMP installed and configured the same as I do on other servers. When I test the credentials they pass. However I noticed Op Manager is giving two incorrect readings about the device. 1. Op Manager reports the disk utilization at 100%. The server has 2 drives. One is 140 Gigs with 114 free, and the other is 2 Terabytes with 1.7 free. Where is the 100% coming from? 2. Oddly enough, when I add the monitor for Op Manager

Roles problem
I set two roles. 1: Assets: View and Technician allowed to view All 2: Assets: View, Add, Edit All in associated sites I added both roles one Technician. But he sees only his own side of assets.
Merged requests visibility problem [SDP 7.6]
I have a problem with locating merged requests. In SDP 7.5 link from original confirmation message was redirected to request that was merged with original. In SDP 7.6 [7608] link redirects to requests page, so users are unable to locate their requests. Is this by error, or by design? How to locate these merged requests?
Problem with Business View
Is the second time I saved a new Business view and after two or three days, the opmanager renamed my map to UNNAMED and I lost my backgroud image. No I can open the business view on edit mode but I can´t rename the map and I can´t change the backgroud Image. How can I solve that? Thks
