Deleting Users and .V2 Profiles
When we delete a user using AdManager +, it removes the user's profile folder that XP uses but it does not remove the .V2 folder that is created for Vista / Windows 7. I believe this should be updated to include the removal of both folders when deleteing a user.
Netflow plugin
I set up a router to export flows before I added the snmp community string to the config. So the router name is showing as the IP address and the interface names are IfIndex1 and IfIndex5 while viewing in the Netflow plugin. I added the snmp string to the router config, and discovered the router in OpManager. The interface and router names appear fine in OpManager, but they still show up as IP address, IfIndex1, IfIndex5 in the Netflow plugin. I want the descriptive names in both OpManager
Two Problems With 7610/7611
Hi, I have two more problems to report with the latest version of the SD. When I have no browser windows opened, and I open a link to a request eg http://<server>/WorkOrder.do?woMode=viewWO&woID=5195 My browsers are seen to redirect me to here https://<server>/HomePage.do?SkipNV2Filter=true If I open subsequent links I am brought directly to that link without getting directed. Can this please be resolved as it can be tedious having to open the link a second time.. ---- The second issue I notice
GINA/CP Installation failure
When trying to perform the GINA/CP Installation on some Windows 7 and Windows Vista machines, I receive this error message: Couldn't copy ADSelfServicePlusClientSoftware.msi to UCADMIN$System32.The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. I had no problem installing on my machines (XP and Windows 7). Any thoughts?
Virtual Devices under Infrastructure Snapshot - cannot be found
Hello, Using OPmgr 8720 with the Vmware add-on. Under infrastructure snapshot, it shows 9 Virtual devices, but I can't find them anywhere. They are not in the Top VM's or All Devices lists. When I change a server to a virtual device, it adds to the total of virtual devices, but still doesn't show up anywhere. I have uploaded the logs. Thanks.

Two Domains - X Domain PC's Scan with WMI, Y Domain PC's show no info using WMI
Hi, Before you ask, yes I have created two sets of credentials for X & Y Domain. Basically, I have X.domain.co.uk & Y.domain.co.uk Opmanager is sitting on a 2K8 Box on the X Domain. Windows machines on the X Domain scan ok without issue, and report back CPU and memory usage etc. Windows machines on the Y Domain scan ok but do not report back anything except ICMP, even though when using the credential check WMI passes fine. Hi, We regularly loose some alarm configurations of our Database Query Monitors (SQL Server queries). In tab 'Threshold Details' the associated threshold for a selected attribute disappears ('Select Threshold' is displayed instead). The same happens for the associated actions (see attachment). Hi, I found out an error in the [OpManager install dir]\NetFlow\applications\extracted\NetFlowAnalyzer.eear\NetFlowAnalyzer.ear\NetFlowClient.war\WEB-INF\classes\resources\ApplicationResources_fr.properties (build 8000) file that created a Script error in NetFlow Analyser plugin. [Business view] - 0% Traffic map / IE unscrollable X axis
Hi, I just wanted to point out that when using the business view traffic map, when a link has 0% traffic, the link is grayed out, as "-NA-", whereas it should be darkblue, according to the legend. Since -NA- should mean that the port is down. IP manager only shows Linux "Device Types"
Hi, IP manager can connect thru SNMP to windows and Linux Machines, but only the latter are shown in the Device Type field. My Oputils is running on a Linux host, so there is no WMI. Is there a way to show Windows Machines properly? Not Importing emails
Hi, SDP is not importing emails since friday night, we have restarted teh service and restarted teh server but it is still not importing. Java.exe is running and a sub routine of ping.exe is starting also and maxing out the cpu, are the two issues releated how can I get the emails imported.
[Widget] - Widget width calculated on Screen size ?
Hi, I looked to setup my Opmanager Dashboards on a dual screen setup, I set 2 columns, 50% and it looks neat... However, when I extend my IE window to the second monitor, the content of the widget does not scale, but the "draggable" box does. Could this be fixed ? I attached a snapshot of the behavior. Hi, I met this while doing a report for MSSQLLogFilesUsedPercent graph, and tried with Data File Size and it had the same behavior, so I guess this may be happening for all "table data". discrepancy between MIB browser and new SNMP Monitor..
I'm testing OpManager build 8720. I made a new device template in order to manage my Nokia IP390 firewalls.. I loaded into OpManager server the right MIBs (Nokia & Checkpoint) When I try to query an IP390 by internal OpManager's MIB Browser, for and OID specific string, it returns an expected value.. All graph times are behind by one hour
All of the graphs in statistics intervals are behind by one hour. I'm running OpManager 7 Distributed Edition build number: 7502 I saw a couple of things about java time, but the jre that ships w/ OpManager 7 is: java version "1.5.0_11" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_11-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_11-b03, mixed mode) and I thought that the tzupdater is problematic only for java 1.4. Images in Solutions disappear after a day or so
I have a bunch of Solution documents. In most of these I have inserted, from file, a .gif image. The images display perfectly when I create the Solution document. They are perfect when I open the solution document after I have approved it. They display perfectly if I log in as someone else and open the document. Then, after a day or so, when I go back in and open the document again, the image has been replaced with the standard internet red x can't display image icon. Any help appreciated!
Home Directory Issues
My templates are set to map a U: drive to a network folder location based on the username of the user. I had to recreate all accounts so I deleted all accounts and ran the template again which mapped the U: drive correctly to the users folder. However, when a user logs in now they can not access this folder and the mapping is one layer above the folder it should map. When I look at the network folder security tab I see a hexadecimal entry where the username should be. Needing resolution here.

Password compliance report and File Store type
Hello, I'm just wondering why PMP reports "Reason: Error in validating rule" on a File Store resource type? I've even tried to set a new "No policy" custom policy (ie. with no requirements) to don't make it complain, but it hasn't worked out. What is the sense of assigning a Policy to a Resource if it contains a File Store resource type? It produces that error that of course is misleading. For example, it obviously cannot parse a PDF file to say that is compliant... Maybe you should fix it and avoid

Hello, Running Opmgr 8720. I have 365 devices in a business map. When I show in the list and then I either hit show 500 records to see all the devices on one page or choose the arrow to goto the next page, the error "no devices found for the the XXXXX category." Two Bugs Relating To Task Lists
Hi, I have two problems to report, using 7610 but they existed in previous versions also. The first relates to viewing my open tasks. I view my open tasks by clicking "Show All" from the "Home" -> "My Tasks" section. This brings me here <hostname>/TaskDetails.cc?TYPE=MYOPEN After I click on a task, and perhaps change its title, and hit save, instead of just bringing me back to the list of "my open tasks", the page now displays ALL tasks every created. Dear All, I have a problem about Netflow summary traffic packet like a picture. as the picture I'm on application tab to view application packet summary if you focus a red border you will see TCP_App Application with packet summary 826.62KB and then I click link for more detail like a picture below. Custom login not working
I followed the instructions found in the solutions of SDP to modify the login page. The only thing I changed was added the word "test" to the page. The page displays correctly, but when I sign in, the browser clicks over and over again like I'm being redirected back and forth between 2 pages. Adding VM ESX Question
Hi everyone, We've been monitoring our Vmware ESX server for a few months and it's been working ok. From the server screen we can click the VM server and see all the virtual machines information. AD Search in ADManager Plus extremely slow
Hi All, Wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and/or has a fix... When using the 'Search AD Objects' in the top right corner of the ADManager Plus homepage, we are finding the search to be extremely slow. To search for a name takes around 45-50 seconds. The same search in the ADUC console takes milliseconds. Any suggestions? This is affecting us bringing the product into production as it is not practical to be waiting this length of time to find an AD Object. Any suggestions

Dashboard broke after upgrade to SP4

ServiceDeskPlus Forums link broken
When clicking on the Support tab inside ServiceDeskPlus and then clicking on the "ServiceDesk Forums" link, the page that link directs to is a 404 error.
