reply mail problem with outlook
hi, we use sdp pro. 8.106. After we uprgade system from 8.027 to 8.1. than, A user logs in to service desk and creates a request. We respond by email to the user though service desk. The user responds though outlook to the email and we have no log of the conversation. I look at the email adress which i defined on system. all mails are in box. and there isn't come a noteficetion mail that a requster send a new reply. I use this subject [Re : ##$RequestId## : $Title] at the admin-notification
opmanager is generating hundreds of snmp requests per min to a managed server
Hi, Why is opmanager generating so machine snmp calls per minute to a managed server? I have only 5 items in the performance monitor (standard stuff like cpu, memory, etc.) with 1 minute interval. Here is the log from my linux box. The machine xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is where I run the opmanager. db2 is the machine being monitored. PMP HA error and performance issues
Dear, Since we've upgraded to pmp 6404, we encounter 2 problems : 1/ the HA setup seems to be erratic. Indeed, the HA setup completed successfully however it is shown as "not running" in the admin section. However, stopping the primary server does not prevent from logging in to the secondary. iPhone App Login Issue

Problem with Email Notifications
I'm running ServiceDesk Plus 8.1.0 Build 8105. Under "Notification Rules", I have "Acknowledge requester by e-mail when a new request is received" and this works. If I put in an incident request for someone, they get the confirmation email. However, if I also check "Acknowledge requester by e-mail when the request is closed", the requester never receives this email when the corresponding incident is closed. I also tried the "E-mail user when a request is resolved" and this didn't send an email

self-restart not working in windows service monitor
Hi all, using OpManager 9101 for monitoring about 100 devices. Set a bunch of windows service monitors on several windows machine, some of those are custom services (application related) OpManager is capable of detecting the status but it just loses the radio button on "Restart this Service" even if "Do the following action, if the service is unavailable" remains flagged Obviously the service is not restarted and thus the problem

When I create a new Support Group, the description does not appear in the Group List. Only the descriptions from older groups appear, but no new groups. Currently using 8105.
The SDP service will not start
Hi The ME ServiceDeskPlus service will not start after some problems with full disk on the SQL server. The problems with the SQL server is now solved, but I still can`t start the service. Translation issue
I see some untranslated English text for Russian User interface. I opened Admin -> General -> Translations and try to find these English words. But I can't find English text.You can find only Russian text. See the picture. There is aprox 10200 phrases for translation. You should click 1000 times on button Next for search the existing English text. Can you please put all phrases on one page. Or choose language for search. If I choose English, Russian translation will be deleted, i.e. I can't translate

Vulnerability Database Update Fails (v 80024)
I recently installed Desktop Central 8 on my server and have been unable to update the vulnerability database successfully. Each time I attempt to download the database the first three process complete successfully and then the "Syncing security updates" process fails. I have reviewed logs and even changed the log setting to Debug and still have no indication of why the update fails. The system currently does not have a local firewall running and no traffic is being blocked by the gateway.
Error while updating from 80022 to 80025
Got a java error while trying to update. Restarted and tried to update to 80025 again with no luck. Get the following error in server.lock #Thu May 24 15:41:12 PDT 2012 buildnumber-db=80022 buildnumber-conf=80025 error-message=File system incompatible with DB. Might occur in case Deskop Central installation is overwritten by another incompatible version ? So what did I do wrong? Thanks Charles
URL Monitor monitors OpManager itself instead of site asked
Hi, One of my probe server, which was istalled as Italian, always had this problem. Basically the URL monitor query OpManager itself and not the URL i'm asking for. This problem went unnoticed until we had a system outage and tried to understand why the monitor stayed green. Pressing the "check now" button it show a page with a redirect to "/Login.do". Running build 80022 and suddenly getting dcconfig.exe errors on many machines when users login. Automated patch deployment says "In Progress" for these pc's but no patches appear to be getting installed on the affected machines.
Bug with "actions" button in admin module
Hello! I'm testing SD 8.1.0. Database MySQL. Browser IE 9.0 In admin module ->users->requesters i don't see "actions" button when i change interface language to russian (screenshot1-2). When language is english or other - all is good. ctrl+F5 doesn't work. In Firefox this page looks good. I've tried to contact to your pre-sales team (eval), but there was no answer.
Cannot create a custom view
Hi all. When using SD+ Enterprise Edition to create a custom view in the Requests tab, after selecting the relevant fields and clicking OK it seems to get stuck in a redirect loop. The Window title is "NTLM Failed Redirecting to Login Page". Any suggestions welcome. Thanks, Dave

issue with approvals
Hello. We have a one issue with approvals in sdp 8.1 last build. We are created a new custom status(for example "test status") , and choosed it in option "While a request is waiting for approval, stop the timer and set request status to" then we are created a new ticket and submited for approval. and ticket status changed to "test status" and approval status changed to "pending approval" after first approval ticket status changed to "open" and approval status change to "approval" then we are manualy
User notification for patches
Greetings! We have some reports of users not being able to shut down or restart while DC is working. No notification or any other visual clue. Cannot configure database server because compatible to build 7605

business rules is not working for Service Catalog
I have a business rule: Execute when a request is "Edit" Turn on cascade execution Override request values with Business Rule values criteria: Request Type is "test type" action: Change Status to "test status" If i create a request from button "New incident" and then change type of request business rule is working, but if i create request from Service Catalog, busines rules dont work. A few days ago, as a means of standardization is changed all the names of the workstations (CPU and notebook), but in a tab called Workstation(s)/Server(s) failed during last scan, I keep coming and in fact I reconciled with the new names, which is a success. But to spend a few minutes, I again workstations appear as stations in store as if he had added a new one. which is very annoying that the amount of assets not coindice analyzed through existing assets, with respect to the workstations.
Automated Patch Deployment Not Creating Drafts or Patching

For my servers, I've asked it to: Scan the Device Download the patches to the server and draft a Configuration (not execute on it) For several days now, only step one is completed. Opmanager 9 Failover - Secondary server service stops
Our Opmanager failover is working fine, but after failback the secondary servers Opmanager service is stopped. 1. Shutdown primary server 2. Alert is received that primary server is down 3. After about a minute the secondary server is accessible through http://server2:80 4. Turn primary server back on 5. Primary server takes over and is accessible at http;//server1:80 But then we receive an email that the secondary server is down. When I log into the secondary server the Opmanager service is stopped.
