Unable to set asset in a request to None
We are having an issue where we are unable to set the asset to None in a request. The asset field will change to None, but the change will not be saved. If we edit a request, and set the asset to None, when we attempt to save the ticket, we are thrown back to the Edit screen with all ofour changes lost. How do we fix this issue?
Sofware Inventory - SQL2005
Back in August I logged a call (ref 13084604) about the software inventory function misreporting. Desktop Engine wasnt able to differentiate between the free SQL2005 Desktop Edition and the full SQL2005 product. I was told it would be able to within a couple of months but heard nothing back and just that its still misreporting. Has there been any progress on this issue? Thanks

EventLogAanalyzer Agent issue
I am trying to get the eventlog analyzer agent to work on one of our servers in the DMZ. Here is what I have done and what is happening. 1. Tried to install client thru the web interface and it failed, this was expected because of ports not being open to the DMZ. Deploying patches and update to multiple machine
Hi there, I'm lost with this one, and I am hoping someone can offer some help: I want to be able to deploy all the patches that have been approved to all the machines that require them. Sounds very simple really, but can't seem to find a way to do that. It seems I have to manually select each computer from the OU, or type it in by hand. Active Directory Pass-through authentication "Failed to locate authority for name"
I look at post in this forum and others but still can't find a fix for this. In the logs it says "Failed to locate authority for name". I ensured that we are using the FQDN. I get no errors when creating the computer account required. We are using a 2008 domain server. Do I need to do something to enable NTLM on the server side?
Unable to install OpManager NetFlow Plug-In
When attempting to install the NetFlow Plug-In receive the error: "Insufficient disk space. ManageEngine OpManager NetFlow Plug-In needs a minimum of 150 MB." There are 106 GB free on the drive. This is being installed on a Windows Server 2008 machine. Thank you for your assistance. Rob

Home > Dashboard shows "No Data Available"
We have more than 200 hosts connected to ELA, and the status of all hosts showed "logging started" This issue has started since 30 Nov 2012 until today. Before that, it was ok. After downloading all custom reports, only 2 reports are having data. But the latest data captured was up to 8AM on 30 Nov 2012. Not sure what is the cause of this issue. Please advice on how to address it.
Problem with High availability
I have some problems with my high availability setup. In my admin page the status for high availability is not running. The status for replication is alive. When I look into the event viewer of the server I see multiple MySQL errors. Please advice what to do. Problems deploying Citrix Receiver 3.3 through Desktop Central.
I am hoping someone out there has had similar issues to what I am going through, but has solved the problem with deploying Citrix Receiver 3.3 to their clients through Desktop Central. License Agreements
When trying to add a new licence agreement we keep getting the following error. com.adventnet.persistence.internal.UniqueValueHolder Under the Agreement Number. It doesn't matter what we put in this field we get the same error. We've tried rebooting the ServiceDesk server but still got the same error.
Tray icon issue
I have noticed that on Windows XP and Server 2003 the screen will occasionally flash. This goes away when the icon is removed I believe this is also causing a performance issue on multiple devices. Is there something I should know?
Importing asset details
Hi I am currently trialling SDP as a possible asset management solution. It has scanned our workstations ok, and now I would like to update some of the details it couldn't automatically get (e.g. monitor serial number, cost etc). I have exported the details of the workstations from a room through the reports to excel so I can bulk update some of the information. I then save it as a CSV ready to import back into SDP. The problem I am having is it doesn't seem to want to have all of the fields back

Run script after Installing software not working
Hi, I am having a problem with running a post install script for Microsoft Office 2010, the script is designed to pin shortcuts for Outlook, Word and Excel on the task bar and start menu. Problem Occurred While Updating Workflow
I have a workflow that executes a windows script that reboots a PC when a certain process is killed (reboot PC does not work since there will always be a user logged on who has actually killed the process). This was working fine yesterday when I deployed it to one test machine. OpManager WMI inconstancies
I recently switched out all my monitors for all of my VM's to make use of WMI for the Windows machines. Since then I have been picking up some strange data. "Go to" request id problem
Hi, When you want to go to a certain request ID you can fill the ID in the "Go to" field. But if you merge 2 requests and you use the old ID in the "Go to" field SCP will open the "New request" page an not the merged request. I.E. If you merge request 001 and 002, then type in 002 in the "Go to" field SCP will open request 002. But if you type in 001 SCP will open the "new request" page and not request 002. User Modification Template Issue
I just upgraded to the new 6000 build and I'm seeing a flaw in the user modification template. I'm utilizing the default template layout. I am unable to set my mail server and mailbox store because those fields are greyed out in the template. Unclear why those fields are blocked since I'm using the default layout. Adding an Activity Event to an Account results in empty Request tabs
Hi SC I have a company set up and have added a request for them. I open this request and get the Request Tab, Account Info,Resolution, Time Entry, Activities, and History that all come up fine. If I go into the customers Account details and add an Event all the tabs for this request except ftor the request itself are now blank. This is on 7909 and I can't see any fixes for this issue. We really need to be able to see these Events in the Request so we can assess who and when site visits were complete
