Passthrough Authentication not working
I am trying to configure pass-through authentication to allow our technicians and requestors to login with their AD details and not have to enter the details again. I have successfully created the AD System accounts and everything appears to be configured correctly however Pass-through authentication is not working. Upon further inspection of the system logs I suspect that SDP is running with an incorrect time zone somewhere, despite the server and user accounts having the correct time zone applied
Service Restarts almost daily - PermGen Space and OutOfMemory issues
We are consistently running into an issue where something is causing the application to run out of memory. My suspicion is something with reports being built or certain views being constantly refreshed, however, I am not completely sure. The SQL server itself is fine but it seems to be java that is running out of memory. We get errors like the following almost once a day and end up having to restart the service. Hi Netflow Analyzer Support Team One week ago my netflow analyzer server work normally just like usual But on the early morning, the server stops collecting data I check my server and I realize the server storage is full I shut down the service and when I am starting the service, the service does not start I open the wrapper.log and i get message invalid license file, Error code 535 and 501 What step should i do to fix the problem? I'm having some issues with the landing page for ADSSP. Most users get stuck with a "Loading...Please Wait" dialog box and can't reach the login. Sometimes hitting refresh will fix the problem, but other times, it doesn't help. Other users have had success going straight to the /showLogin.cc page. Is there something wrong with the re-direct?
Desktop Central is unable to create/upgrade the agent
I'm getting this error in SOC: "Desktop Central is unable to create/upgrade the agent" I already added the folder to the antivirus exception. Earlier today it gave me this error then went away long enough for me to get about half the agents deployed. Now it came back with no changes.
Thresholds in device templates do not retain values
I am on 11400 and have created a new device template, copy of Windows 2003, and removed all monitors to start anew. After adding monitors, I can set the threshold amounts the 1st time but if I try to edit them later, after applying to devices, the behavior is strange. If I have 7 monitors and I edit them all and save, all 7 assume the last settings I changed! This is useing the 'Edit Thresholds' option in the template dialog. Migrating to new server Issue
Hello, I am trying to move from a Windows server 2003 server to Windows 2012. I have them both up and running the same version. I can launch the web login via the 2012 server and login no issues. Once I try and do the restore this stops working and I can not get anything to work. The backup was created on the same version. Running the run.bat script I can see the AdventNetServiceDesk FAILED. I can reset the database and it will work again but there will be no data. How can I import the database
Not fetching emails from Exchange 2013
Our client has migrated from Exchange 2010 to 2013 and their SDP does not fetch emails. Currently the mailbox is still on 2010 with a route added to the 2013 so we can test SDP. We tried by creating a new certificate using gencert.bat but there's no avail. I have uploaded the support files as well. Please assist. Client not responding after deploy
Have tried multiple desktops and the scenario is always the same. Boot desktop up to osdeployer agent> Osdeployer sees this machine as being online > Deploy image to the machine > Shows about 4% completion and then fails. error log: Client 'x.x.x.x' is not responding error code: 1 module: 52 we are running osdeployer 4.0.2
How to use info path forms in service desk
I have created an Info Path form and have been able to email the form to Service Desk Plus, however the radio buttons and check boxes are not preserved when displaying the form in Service Desk. If I make the check boxes in text boxes the frame(borders) are not visible First image shows a section of the form being filled out using text boxes and check boxes compare the formatting in the second image and you will clearly see there is no frame around the test boxes and check boxes also have no borders
MDM app on S4mini
Hi We noticed that the App "ManageEngine MDM for Samsung" is no longer supportd on S4mini GT-I9195 Android ver. 4.2.2 and ver. 4.4.2 We also tried the ManageEngine MDM, but when we do the enrollment we received a message error that the App is not designed for Samsung SAFE devices. Why is no longer supported? we have a lot of S4mini and S4 with MDM app installed........ Thanks
AD import is slow 9035
Hi. I get 40000 AD user. On 9004 I can imported they in 1,5 hours (15 user per second). When I update to 9035 import speed descreased to 0,5 user per second.
Department manager not seeing all department requests
I setup a department manager to see all of his department's requests, by manually setting it in his account. He could see all of his department but a few. I've checked the department for his whole team, and even manually assigned their department, but still a couple are not showing. I cannot see why - they are definitely in the same department, and no other settings are different. What can cause this, please, and how do I fix it?
Email Command and Additional Field Decimal
Hi, We have a problem with email commands and Additional Fields in Decimal format when the value starts with zero. When the value is like 0.2 it does not work the request update. Servers updated as snmpnode
Good Day, I do not know what happened, but all of our server types has been updated to snmpnode, so when we click on a server name we get the error message, unable to find object I have to go to admin and discover the devices again, then it gets the correct details again, but the availability graph does not display. Problem with workstations scanning (Asset)
Hi, We have Service Desk Professional 9.0 Build 9029 (max amount of IT assets is 1100). We have about 500 workstations in our domain. And we have some issues with workstations scanning. About 100 errors occur when we start Windows Domain Scan. You can see the screen shot with errors: "No response received from workstation. SDPCrash-OutOfMemoryError upon start, continuous restart
Dears, We've rolled out the scan script on our workstation recently (around 600 Workstations) and this seems to have caused resource exhaustion on SDP, hence we've been getting the SDPCrash-OutOfMemoryError issue. I've tried to fine tune the heap size in the wrapper.conf file to a maximum where I wouldn't get the "Could not reserve enough space for object heap" and I reached the values 512 and 1432, but still the out of memory occurs. What should we do now? this is really getting frustrating. Enclosed
Import from Active Directory stopped working
When trying to import users from Active Directory it stopped showing our AD OU tree and was just showing the Users OU. To try and fix that problem I ran the following commands on the database: delete from adousrelationinfo; delete from adorganizationalunits; I am now getting the attached error when trying to import users
User Configuration Windows Domain
Hi, i have 1 central and 2 probe. I configured on central and on 1 probe Windows Domain Authentication and it work, if i try to configure Windows Domain Authentication on second probe, nothing happens, no error. All 3 Windows 2008r2 machines aren't on Domain, but i can ping and resolve Domain Controller. How can i fix it ? thk
Dashboard links generate NTLM failed redirecting to login page error
We are able to look at and view graphs on the dashboard with no problem. However, when we click on any of the links on the graphs on the dashboard page, we are taking to a page that has the error message "NTLM failed redirecting to login page " Once there, the page seems to just continually refresh every couple of seconds.
Email Notification for close jobs does not work.
HI, Don't know if anyone can help, its a strange one. When I submit a request to helpdesk it replies with an automated response which is great. However when a job is closed it does not email back saying what the resolution is. I have the template created and it is save in the notification settings. I have checked filters etc and its not being blocked. There is also nothing in the logs I can see. Its obviously not the send settings as I get the auto response when a ticket is created. Any ideas. Technician removed from AD and re-imported no longer recieves notifications
We have setup service desk plus and had all of our technicians setup and all was well. One day we had to delete one of the technicians from active directory and then recreate them with a new user and email guid. We then re-imported the users to service desk plus which includes the newly created technician account. now that technician doesn't receive any notifications,.all the other technicians do receive email notifications except the one that was re-created. licensing allocation issues after upgrade to 9033
This seems to be specific to the unlicensed tab. Instead of the expected check box on the first row I am getting a series of numbers ie. 156749 and the installed on date is showing a 13 digit number ie. 1399953600000. unable to allocate licenses since there is no block to select and selecting allocate license returns "Please select workstation(s) to allocate software license. Source and Destination not show
Hello, I have a OpManager installed with SQL Server and also have Netflow, but it is plugin licensing. The NetFlow was installed and pointed to the SQL Server, but even after all set up is not displayed's IP source and destination and also not shown the protocols / ports used. Is there anything else to be configured? The only support option would be through this site? Thank You

computer configurations don't execute!
I have deployed some configurations in computer section,I have even tried the templates themselves,I have reset the PC for several times and it's been over 90 mins that these policies have been deployed. None of the computer configurations(such as software deployment,user management,etc) got applied, my user configurations execute properly though.

Solutions - List of Approvers to submit the record to includes some who used to have permissions
(reported with respect to ServiceDesk Plus 2018 Enterprise) I have removed several Technicians from the Role that allows them to approve Solution Records, however these Technicians still show up in the list of possible Technicians to submit a Solution record approval request to. I have double-checked that these Technicians have no other Roles that would grant them these permissions. I need help with this. Logout on each selection
I have a new install of ServiceDesk on a new server. I have windows authentication set up and working. When I am on the server and connect to ServiceDesk it works great. When I connect to ServiceDesk from my computer, I get the login screen and am able to login. When I click any link, tab or button on the page, it goes back to the login screen. From here I can login again and it takes me to the new screen that wanted to access. When I click on any button to take me to another screen I am logged out
HTTP Status 500
Good day. We have been using the Full Trial Enterprise Version of Service Desk Plus. It has been great so far. Yesterday was the last day of the Full Trial Enterprise Version so I assumed the application would just switch to the Standard Version that is free. Today we login to the application are it throws the error below. We do have domain authentication turned on but not pass through authentication. Is there something that we need to do to get the Standard Version working? type Exception report
Adobe AIR 16.0.0.245 patch detection doesn't seem to be working
I see that the Adobe AIR 16.0.0.245 patch (300849) for Windows came out on January 12th, but none of our Win 7 SP1 workstations are showing that they're missing the patch -- they're all still running AIR 15.x. The Inventory reports are showing the correct information, but Patch Management doesn't seem to be detecting properly. Anyone else see this behavior? Our Desktop Central build is 90111. Thanks.
ATTACHMENT ISSUE while creating Request (Support Center Plus)
Hi, Manage Engine Support Center plus is unable to send attachments to clients while creating a new request/updating/closing. While support center plus is able to recieve attachments if a client sends an email with attachment. Support center plus shows the document being attached but while we update the request to the client, email is delivered without attachment. We also checked with the attachment size and the documents are in kb size. Kindly update us with this issue. Current Version : ManageEngine
