how to trap the snmpv3 event
Good Day ManageEngine We used MibBrowser Free tool to monitor the snmp device And everything runs well with snmpv3 and can trap snmpv1 and v2 events However, the trap viewer can not trap snmpv3 event Should we skip any configuration for snmpv3 trap like (UserName, AuthPasswd, AuthProtocol, PrivacyProtocol, Privacy Passwd). Cannot Open Pending Tasks in Dashboard
Hello, it appears that we are unable to open any technician's "Pending Tasks" from the dashboard menu. We've tried on both Google Chrome and IE with no luck. It either throws us the attached error message or sends us to a blank page. We are on build 9405 using a MSSQL database. I'm not seeing anything in the log so I'm not sure that would be much help, but please let me know if I can provide additional information. Thank you!

SDP Running Very Slow - Again

Desktop Central Automatically Moving Configuration to Trash
An automated task is running at 5AM resulting in configurations being deleted by "DC-System-User" This is undesired, as these configurations are targeted to AD groups, which deploy software and/or configurations dynamically as objects are added to those groups in AD. These configurations need to remain active, and currently I have to check the trash to find what else got deleted today, then save it as new since there is no option to undelete from trash.
Need to refresh page to show assigned tasks
After upgraded to 9404 and working with tasks in the Request or Change module it will allow us to assign a tech to the task but the page does not auto refresh showing the task assigned. If we refresh the page it will show the task has successfully been assigned. I have 4 of my technicians having this issue using Edge, Chrome and Safari.
Linking open tasks to project
I have a number of open tasks that I want to link to a new project I created in SD Plus. How do I link or associate those tasks with the project so I do not have to recreate them?
Problem restoring database to new server - Application will not start
Hi, I'm trying to migrate our ServiceDesk Plus from Windows Server 2003 to a new server running 2012 R2. I have installed the same version of ServiceDesk on both servers, taken a backup from the old server and copied it to the new one. I have then run the restoredata from an elevated command prompt. The restore looks to have completed successfully however the servicedesk application will not launch following the restore. It hangs on "Application Layer Started". I have tried using the Run command
Announcements behaviour
Upgraded to 9405 and noticed a change to the behaviour of created announcements. We created an announcement on Tuesday to display to technicians on Thursday. We also created two other announcements on Wednesday which were shown immediately. On Thursday, the scheduled announcement appeared but was displayed under the two announcements from Wednesday. The expected behaviour is for the scheduled announcement to appear at the top and not in it's creation timeline.

Prepending Makes Duplicates
Hello, I want to prepend a Resource field in front of whatever the user typed into the Description. However, when I run my script (On Form Submit), it prepends multiple times, and I only want it to appear once. Duplicate audit emails
Hi, I'm just reporting this; I already found the problem. Immediately after upgrading from 9.101 to 9.600, I began getting my daily "audit digest" emails twice. I checked the scheduled tasks, and for both "Resource Audit Digest" and "User Audit Digest," "All Administrators" was checked off in the Notification section. It wasn't that way before the upgrade, as I am the only one supposed to get the reports. Thanks, - Steve

Loss of Translations after upgrade
We upgraded to 9311 last week and have noticed that all our translations that we've configured have not been applied. We've restarted the service and still have the same issue. Unable to stop email replies from reopening tickets
Hello When I send a reply to a ticket and selecting the option to close the ticket, any reply received from the end user (even an out-of-office notification) re-opens the ticket. I cannot, for the life of me, find the option to turn this off! Please help. Thanks Peter

Hi, I am trying to configure NCM to connect to a Cisco 2960 Switche via SSH however when I test Credential it shows me that not even the 22 port is open. SDP not working after upgrade of build form 9200 to 9300 - Need urgent help on this
After the upgrade of build from 9200 to 9300 initially it worked for some time and not working now. Even if we start the services it stops again. Not working from command mode also using the run.bat (Unclean shutdown of previous run.Failed to start the server. Please refer logs for more details). Need urgent help on this. The DB server we use is MSSQL.

Autofill JS error in Google Chrome
Hi, We use Password Manager Pro Enterprise (build 9502) on Linux and we have a problem with Google Chrome extension (version 1.0.3.7). Can't get SDP to launch
Hi, every once in a while I get an error when running 'run.bat' where it says the port is in use even though I haven't changed anything. Then when I change the port and try and run it, it says the server is already running and I can't launch the Service Desk. This is very frustrating and happens semi-regularly (see attached). Can you advise how I fix this and stop it from happening in the future?
Audit Logs missing from app
Audit logs are not loading on page. It is showing as blank. The Admin Audit Report is showing though. I can also see the audit logs in the audit-data folder. I have tried to restart the server, but it is still not showing. Anything, I need to clear?
Query for requests with most common category/subcategory
I'm having trouble finding a query that will produce a report of requests (both incident and service) with the most common category/subcategory. I would like to use this to find trends of issues that need to be addressed. It may also provide information on training that is needed for end users or techs. Replying to a ticket using reply template not working
Morning, We just upgraded to SDP 9404, and we are having issues using the reply template. within the ticket we hit reply, and select one of the reply templates but then get the following error: 'You are not authorized to view this page' can you let me know what to check? In SDP OnDemand, if I open a successfully scanned asset, set the option to "do not prompt user" and click the remote control button, some machines never allow a connection. It just sits on that page for hours. Some work but take an unacceptably long time (a minute or more). Some do work fairly quickly. Java issue after upgrading to 9402
Is anyone else running into Java issues after upgrading to 9402? We have a daily problem where Java will take up 80%-90% of the server's CPU and over 1.2GB of memory. This will lead to SDP becoming unresponsive. If we restart the SDP service, Java will go down to around 500MB and SDP will be fine for the rest of the day. If not, it will eventually become responsive again, but the issue will keep occurring multiple times a day. I've already contact support (#8187972), but their response is that we

Fields&Form Rules in service catalog
Dear assistance, I create a service request, and I set ‘GV SPA APP Group’ (support group) as default. Then I set Fileds&Forms Rules setting conditions like point 1; actions 2-3-4 are available, only 5 conditions doesn’t allow me to choose the support group that i want. I would like to set ‘GV SPA RETAIL Support’ as group and ‘CSA Support’ as technicians when conditions 1 is satisfied. Could you please tell a way to da that? I tried with a business rule, but it didn’t work. Thanks. EP

Registry Key for Reports May Cause Windows Updates to Fail and Revert
A recommended registry change for EventLog Analyzer has recently caused our Windows Hyper-V host servers to fail e very time they applied Microsoft updates. The server O/S was Windows Server 2012 Data Center. This is a report of the situation and what was done to fix it.
