Mail Server Settings Office 365 Business Premium with custom domain
I have office365 setup on my domain and I am trying to setup the mail server in Desktop Central but it keeps coming back with the following error: Unable to Establish Connection!. Verify Server Name and Port Number. I have attached the image of my settings which I have verified in my Office 365 account.
Desktop Central computers dropping off domain?
Ever since we installed Desktop Central into our domain, we are getting computers here and there getting this error: "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this work station trust relationship" Has anyone else seen this happen? Is DC causing it, or is it just random coincidence?

Agents not reachable, but agent status states it is up??
I am trying to figure out why some of my agents are stating the agent live status is up but when I try to connect it states agent not reachable.
Desktop Central is unable to create/upgrade the agent
I'm getting this error in SOC: "Desktop Central is unable to create/upgrade the agent" I already added the folder to the antivirus exception. Earlier today it gave me this error then went away long enough for me to get about half the agents deployed. Now it came back with no changes.
PostgreSQL Version
We use Secunia CSI agent in our environment to scan for EOL and insecure versions of software. The PostgreSQL included with Desktop Central is showing as insecure. How can this be version be patched to the latest release?
MDM app on S4mini
Hi We noticed that the App "ManageEngine MDM for Samsung" is no longer supportd on S4mini GT-I9195 Android ver. 4.2.2 and ver. 4.4.2 We also tried the ManageEngine MDM, but when we do the enrollment we received a message error that the App is not designed for Samsung SAFE devices. Why is no longer supported? we have a lot of S4mini and S4 with MDM app installed........ Thanks
Push Chrome to XP workstations
I need to push Chrome to my remaining XP workstations, but I need to make sure that IE is still the default browser. We have custom software that has to have IE as the default. I know there is a template for pushing Chrome out, so I think I will be good there, but I am not sure how to set IE as the default AND it not ask the User if they wish to make Chrome the default. thanks! jsbac

I get this alert when viewing my remote-office. I have installed distribution server on my computer but I get this error.By the way once I tried to scan the managed computer which belongs to my remote-office server and it failed saying distribution server is not reachable.Could you help me on this case?

9.0.128.W causes R6025 pure virtual function call on Win XP
just as the title says, 9.0.128.W causes R6025 pure virtual function call on Win XP and agent is not functioning. this happens when upgrading and also when a new installation (using SOM page or the msi file itself) happens to Win XP. WIn 7, 8. 8.1, Server 2008r2 and server 2012r2 seem fine.
File/Folder Operation
In file folder operation, specifically the delete operation, I would like to see more capabilities around verification that a file exists. Case in point..I recently had to delete multiple files of type .exd from our workstations and they can reside in possibly 6 different places. I deployed this configuration to a test account and all it says is 'Execution Failed' 'The system cannot find the path specified' I have no idea of easily knowing if any files were deleted or not at a glance. Has anyone else seen Desktop Central uninstalling Skype? We've had multiple computers where Skype has been uninstalled, presumably while Desktop Central was trying to upgrade Skype. Has this happened to anyone else?
Identifying computers in SoM
Hello, My problem in displaying all of the computers in my workgroup by desktop central still remains.As you can see in the attached file our network shows nearly 200 PCs ,whereas desktop central can only identify a few. Patch Severity Rating appear to have recently changes
Microsoft products used to be the primary patches that had severity ratings. Java has showed up for a long time as Critical. Patches for products such as Chrome or FF used to be unrated. Logs Folder on Client too big
I installed the agent on about 30 laptops in the company. On each computer has created the folder
C : \ Program Files ( x86 ) \ DesktopCentral_Agent \ logs
which grows about 150 megabytes per day . If this continues I will fill in a short time the hard drives of users . how can I do to prevent or limit does not grow beyond a maximum of 200 Megabytes ? Please help me thank you very much

Patch detection for Adobe FLASH critical update 16.0.0.296?
Over the weekend Adobe released a new critical fix for their zero-day vulnerability CVE-2015-0311 and our machines that are online have updated themselves to v16.0.0.296 for the most part. Adobe says they'll be releasing the manual update sometime this week. I checked the Desktop Central vulnerability DB for updates this morning but there's no mention of the FLASH 16.0.0.296 update yet. Any ETA on this? It'd be nice to be able to push the update to any machines that are still missing it.

computer configurations don't execute!
I have deployed some configurations in computer section,I have even tried the templates themselves,I have reset the PC for several times and it's been over 90 mins that these policies have been deployed. None of the computer configurations(such as software deployment,user management,etc) got applied, my user configurations execute properly though.
Renaming recently upgraded Desktop Central Server
We are stepping through a Desktop Central migration to a new server. I have all the steps to transition to the new server, but I need to rename it back to the original server, once it is migrated. This is because the DesktopCentral server also runs the ServiceDesk software and I can't change the URLs. Is there any documentation about changing the machine names on a Desktop Central server? Adobe AIR 16.0.0.245 patch detection doesn't seem to be working
I see that the Adobe AIR 16.0.0.245 patch (300849) for Windows came out on January 12th, but none of our Win 7 SP1 workstations are showing that they're missing the patch -- they're all still running AIR 15.x. The Inventory reports are showing the correct information, but Patch Management doesn't seem to be detecting properly. Anyone else see this behavior? Our Desktop Central build is 90111. Thanks.
