Report for all agent currently online
Is there a report to show all current agent that are online or have been online at all during a given day. Or even show all agent that have been active within 24hours. and show what Active directory Ou location they are in. I was able to filter live agent in SOM but the only way i was able to show OU location was to add a custom field and then manually input the value. Is there a way to populate this custom field automatically?

The 'Fix Now' button when logging into the web console
With version 10.0.310 installed there is a 'Fix Now' button when logging into Desktop Central web console. I have been unable to find any information on what this is actually doing. Is there somewhere that has the information? Is this a security fix or a bug fix? Cheers, James
Why is a 4 year old ASP (IIS?) patch suddenly showing up today in Desktop Central?
Doing some maintenance today - and saw this patch being referenced for 4 of my Windows 10 machines: https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/patch-management/Microsoft-ASP.NET-MVC-2/AspNetMVC2.html This patch was issued well before the existence of Windows 10 and appears to be for IIS? DC Agent - GPO Install Not Working
Hi, I'm trying to install the Desktop Central Agent via GPO but it's not working. I have followed these instructions: https://www.manageengine.co.uk/desktop-management-msp/agent_installation_windows_gpo_msp.html The files are all in the same folder on my network share and the VBS file is also in the Sysvol folder. The computers have permissions to the network share. In the install log on the client, the last line says 'MainEngineThread is returning 2'. Event Viewer doesn't tell me much either Any
Report for any version of software
I want to run a software report to show all pc with specific software. I can use the current inventory report computers w/without software but one of the software I want to report on shows multiple versions. The software name is ICQ. I want to show what computers have this on it regardless of the version. But the problem is that right now if I want to do this I would have to select over 11 versions of the software wich the way the reporting is designed means I have to keep adding additional criteria

Google Chrome switched from 64-bit to 32-bit?
Hi everyone All our 64-bit Windows 10 PCs where 64-bit Google Chrome was installed somehow switched to 32-bit Google Chrome when the September patch (Google Chrome 69.0.3497.92) was deployed by Desktop Central. I only noticed it today when I wanted to approve the most recent Chrome update. I was confused that all our PCs were asking for the 32-bit patch instead of the 64-bit patch. Unable to upgrade from 273 to any new version
Hi, I'm unable to upgrade our 273 version to 310 (or 290). I had no issues with previous upgrades. Hi, we've got some older Windows 2K3 servers which were recently added to Desktop Central. When looking through the list of missing patches for these servers I noticed that Firefox ESR 60 is suggested which is wrong because Mozilla stopped supporting older windows releases recently and the last installable Firefox ESR version for theses system ist Firefox ESR 52. Is it possible to use two desktop central servers with the same agent?
I currently have a 50 device licensed ME DC server on-prem. But I would like to have backup DC server on a remote server so I can still connect to some important clients when the on-prem server containing ME DC is down. ME DC provides a free license up to a certain number of clients and that would be a solution for my situation. But will it also use the same agents on the devices or install a new one on each one I add to to the backup ME DC server too? Is it possible to make this work?
Microsoft office 2013 deployment creation
I see that under software deployment there is documentation for how to create and deploy Microsoft office 2010 and 2016 but not 2013. Is the deployment of office 2013 supported in desktopcentral? If so can you point me to where I can find instructions to create a deployment?

Software Metering
I have added 2 different applications to the software metering. I can't get the metering to report. I have removed and re-added the rules for each of the software apps. I verified the Original File name is correct. Also these are software packages that I have manually added the packages to Desktop Central. I would't think that would make any difference but I don't know. Why would these software packages not report?

Agents failing to update after updating server to DC 10.0.310
I've got a ticket going with support, but after I updated to 10.0.310 my agents are failing to update, making them unmanageable right now. More as I hear from support.
Unable to reach the Domain! Toshiba 91043
I just installed 91043 and in the inventory tab I now get the notice Unable to reach domain!, when i click on the details it shows it's http://support.toshiba.com. I can reach the website via broswer from the DC server, i've tried the "try connecting now" button multiple times now luck. any suggestions on how to get rid of this. thanks

Latest Adobe patches still not available
Hi everyone Adobe released various updates for e.g. Acrobat Reader DC a few days ago. The security advisory (https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/acrobat/apsb18-30.html) was posted on the 1st of October. Two days later and the updates are still not available in Desktop Central. MDM Profile failed to install
I am trying to enroll an iPhone 4S with iOS 8.1.2 with Desktop Central 9 MDM. When I try to install the MDM profile, I get this error: "Profile Installation Failed - Profile Failed to Install" I am currently using Desktop Central 9 Server Build 9.0.1.03 with Service Pack 1.

Forwarding Server install and what needs to be changed?
So currently we have DC server that has been working well, and works for what we need, but there are a dozen people who coming in and out of the local office. I am not sure what settings need to be changed on our current server for me to install the Forwarding server. Do I need to change the .local server to the full dc.domain.com (thats the name I plan on using for outside network) I do not have the .COM DC server inhouse so I cant make a .COM change on the inside, only for the outside network.

Hi, We have put Desktop central into production today and so far have 3 problems, emails have been sent to support, but thought someone may be able to help on here. We are running version 70106 1. After we ran the vun updater and scanned our Windows 2003 Server we pushed out all patches, then ran the scanner again to ensure there were none missed. DS setup to manage a private scope?
Is it possible to set up a distribution server to manage a private network that cannot see the main desktop central server? I tried adding an additional scope to a remote site, but didn't have any luck communicating a host I manually installed the agent on. Thanks.
Configuration failing for workgroup computers
We have several test Windows 10 computers that are on a domain with ManageEngine installed. We are able to send patches to them, and send/execute files on them with configurations. We also have Windows 10 systems that are in a workgroup. I am able to push the ManageEngine client to them, and install a patch with ManageEngine. How does User Alerts calculate time to password expiration
We have a few users that are getting notified that their password is going to expire long before it is configured to alert them. I have the alert configured to start notifying 8 days before the expire date but a couple of users are getting the alert months before the expire date. How does it calculate the expiration date? Is there a way to fix this or do I need to just remove the alert?

Time Incorrect in Desktop Central
Thie time in the Desktop central deploymnet is showing incorrect even though the server time is correct. It's exactly 1 hour behind. I can't find anywhere in the settings to change the time. Specify the order of configurations during user logon.
I see this question has been asked a couple of times. But I did not seem to be able to find any answer. I would like to have certain configurations run first when a user logs on. Basically prioritize them before any other configuration is run. Is this possible ? Thanks
Dependancies not being installed.
Good Afternoon, We have tried to install Windows KB4457144 (2018-9 Security Rollup for server 2008 R2) - ManageEngine patch ID: 25311 This patch has a dependency: KB3177467. If not installed installation can fail on 2008 R2 servers. This is not reflected in the patch database. Can that be corrected? This is a known issue in the patch release notes.
