dcpatchscan high CPU load
On some of our older pcs in my company we have detected that everytime dcpatchscan is running we have a very high CPU load 50%-80%. Is there a way to lower the scan rate? So that it runs once a day? I couldn't find an option to schedule the patch scan
Update KB4343900 is reported as missing but Windows Update says its installed
Hi, today morning I logged into dc and *all* our windows 7 machines were categorized as "highly vunerable" because dc reports windows update KB4343900 is missing. i've checked this on a few machines and it came out that the update in installed on that machines.

Firefox 58.0 - Wrong patch is deployed!
Just a heads-up, there seems to be an issue with the latest Firefox patches (patch ID 307006 and 307008). The 32-bit update points to the 64-bit location path and vice versa. So if you deploy/approve these patches, you will very likely end up with a mess. Having issues pulling new computer updates for any device. Getting this error: Patch Summary Reports are not up-to-date! Scan Now clicking Scan Now seems to run but when I refresh the page the same error message appears. Computers still have old software in their inventory. Any ideas?

I show a windows 10 server pack needs to be installed on one machine, service pack 1709. However the machine is already patched to 1803. Since the checkbox for the patch is greyed out as it is superseded, how can i decline the patch in hopes of desktop central not incorrectly reporting that it is still needed?

Desktop Central suddenly shows up 5 year old Patches ...

So we're trying to automate patching servers When testing we noticed after a server is done installing updates it reboots but then it does not check for updates again, DC only seems to do one wave of updates. We then created 2 deployment times on the same day 9AM-12PM and 4PM-8PM This time after rebooting it did the updates again but only with our 2nd deployment time however after everything was done, I logged in again and the server still had more pending updates. Desktop Central continues to offer wrong patches for Windows 10 versions
I am in the process of patching our Windows 10 boxes for the July patch cycle. ALL Windows machines are running the Anniversary Update (v1607) here - yet DS continues to think that we need a v 1507 patch. What is the issue with Desktop Central not knowing what version of Windows it is targeting? I have a half dozen machines here that always need this hand holding - I would have thought the system would have figured out to correctly identify a Windows client OS version number by now. Hotfix 90067 - Lists of Win patches not visible
Wonder if anyone else is seeing this new problem with Hotfix 90067: When I select Patch Mgmt tab, then either All Patches or Supported Patches, I can only see Mac patches. Windows patches aren't showing up in the lists anymore. They showed up fine up until last night, when I applied Hotfix 90067. I only have Windows 7/8.1 workstations, so Mac patches aren't very useful. I can't even think of a way to deploy missing Windows patches at this point, other than using Software Deployment. Not sure if I'm missing something but we've had a problem with not being able to patch Roaming computers (over the internet) ever since we moved to the Forward Server, which I now believe is called Secure Gateway. Superseded Updates still showing as Missing Updates
I have 65 updates that have been Superseded, going all the way back to August of 2018, that are showing up as Missing Updates. Good Morning, After application of an OS upgrade via the "Feature Upgrade" packages, any deployments including the feature update for that machine attempt to apply again. I am not sure what is causing this behavior, but it looks like with the OS upgrade, ManageEngine does not remember that the deployment was applied, and attempts again. Security Update for .NET Framework not showed
We 'have 6 MS windows 2012 servers with any version of .net framework. Till last July we found any security update for any .net version listed into missing patches. Now even if Microsoft released new security update (MS16-091) on all server not .net fix is listed, while MS MBSA and Windows Update show it as required. We recently upgraded to version 10.0.347. Mainly due to a lot of bugs. However, we're still seeing updates that were superseded months ago listed in our missing patches list. Right now it's down to one last patch, 106372 MSWU-3134 2019-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 (KB4481031) This was superseded in Feb by MS19-FEB8.
