We noticed that deploy goes fine, in the E-mail app there is the account, but we have an error that said that the credentials are wrong and you cannot modify but only retry or abort. Preventing users removing ME MDM App
Hi all, We're trialling MDM and have enable Geo-tracking. When we install the ME MDM app within IOS everything works fine, however users are able to remove this app which in turn removes the ability to track the device. Is there any way to prevent the user from removing the ME MDM app. We cannot see how or if this is possible. Any advice is appreciated. Regards Alan
How Do I create A Scheduled Report For MDM?
I want to run a scheduled report for "devices with/without a specifc app," but I only see that option for manual reports. When I try to schedule a report, that option isn't there. I tried making it a custom report, but that only gives me options for desktops and NOT MDM. Please help.

I have a problem – I cannot delete a group since it is complaining about a profile that is still associated with the group. Even after disassociating the profile from a group it is still there, and again it complains that I cannot delete the group as there is a profile associated with the group. ME MDM Does not download or accept MDM Server Name
Hi, We have recently configured MDM for Desktop Central. I can enrol a device either by email or auto enrolment fine without any problems. The app catalogue downloads onto the phone and information is passed back to the console with no problem. When we push the ME MDM app via the App catalogue the app downloads but does not populate any of the server, port or email fields. More importantly when I try to manually enter these details I get a warning stating "Error You are not authenticated

How can I get to check if MDM will communicate on port 2195. Fire wall opened for 2195 and 2196. I can telnet into gateway.push.apple.com : 2195 and get a response from their server. However Desktop Central doesn't seem to want to communicate at all. I have run Wireshark to monitor port 2195 and there is no communication at all from Desktop Central on this port. I'll throw this one out there just to see if it is feasible. In order to save having all the problems of firewalls etc is there a possibility that one could use port 443 (or whatever port is being used to access DC) to a remotely hosted proxy which would translate the push notification to port 2195 outside of our network. I'm sure this would help a lot of people whose IT departments don't like opening up lots of holes in their security If it is possible, could ManageEngine host such a service?

External IP address change for server
We have changed our ISP and as a result our external IP address has changed. I have changed the address in the NAT settings but there appears to be no way to change it on the Agent on the phones. I am unable to uninstall the app from a Droid Maxx. It tells mee i must deactivate the app because it is a device administrator but I don't see anyway to do that. It appears that the only option is to wipe the phone back to factory defaults. Help Mike

Hi here my ideas for MDM: - In the Devices windows have an icon that show you what device is currently online and offline - I tried remotely wipe and I noticed that If the device is offline,the wipe return a timeout error. Is it possible to add the feature that when I run a wipe and the device is offline the wipe remains in pending until the devices comes up?

Hi I'm testing the MDM features of DC with a single device. The enrolment email comes through OK, and I add the certificate etc successfully. However, when the confirmation web page is displayed on the phone's screen telling me that the agent was downloaded correctly and to select it from the notification area, nothing is actually downloaded to the device - there's no apk available, nothing in the downloads etc. Help!

Hi, I'm really hoping someone can help me, we have just changed our firewall solution from Microsoft TMG Forefront Security 2010 to Dell SonicWall and we can no longer complete the enrollment process. When we issue an enrollment the following happens: 1. The user receives the email successfully; 2. The web link opens successfully and allows the passcode to be entered; 3. The MDM Profile successfully installs; 4. The process switches back to the Safari page to notify that the process installs successfully;

We have run into a problem adding users and devices into the MDM. No matter who we try to add we always get User Name already exists. We connect to our domain, use search to find a user, allocate them to the approprate device and configs and then hit go. It always gives us the same answer "User Name already exists." Help appreciated. Ian
