Control ActiveSync Connections from DC
Currently, ActiveSync is disabled on all Exchange mailboxes in our company (since we use older Blackberries). Since we are looking at migrating to iPhone/Android, we will need to enable ActiveSync for users. However, in our company we only want to allow company-provided devices to have email, and not allow users to have corporate email on their own personal iphones and ipads. MDM local communication with tablet or phone
Hi, If I have android tablets which are always located on the corporate network how can I set them to communicate directly with the local desktop central installation without going to internet since they are connected to the same desktop central lan. Is there a way, cause those I don't want to let them connect to internet. Or what ports (if the above is not applicable) are needed to open on the firewall to communicate with desktop central server other than 8383 because I opened this port only but
Self Enrollment for MDM
When is it projected for there to be the option of self enrollment? We are wanting to utilize the MDM portion of Desktop Central in our NAC deployment but without the ability for the user to self enroll it is difficult to do so.

Install Apl in Android with MDM ?
We are testing mdm in our company. We added 2 devices "android mobile"... and we have uploaded to the repository 1 apk file. And we have distributed this application to the two devices. The application appears on the device but not installed automatically This is how the correct functioning or are doing something wrong ?? Thanks

We have opened the ports 8383, 5228, 5229, and 5230 to test MDM. But one thing I do not like, NOW THE PORTAL Desktop Central is in the WAN ( Intenet ). Now this website is supceptib attacks. There any possibility of only accept connections from mobiles?
Desktop Central MDM Android Support
When will this feature be available for Android Devices? Corporate or Selective Wipe - All installed profiles will be wiped out. This will not disturb any personal data other than the corporate data which has been distributed through Desktop Central.(This feature is not supported for Android devices in the present release)
Status will not move from "Yet to enroll"
Hi there, Trying to get my 1st mobile device enrolled into MDM. I can send the enrollment request via email, open the page on the device, login and successfully receive the certificates, but the enrollment page within DesktopCentral never goes beyond the "Yet to enroll" status. I have tried using both WiFI and 3G. The device in question is an iPad 4th gen with LTE and WiFi. Regards, The-SilMarillion
Corporate wipe
Trying to do a corporate wipe on an iOS device. The device scans, I can push apps out but when trying to do a wipe, it just doesn't happen, the console shows that it is executing the command, but never finishes. Any ideas?

Apps not showing up in App Catalog
I'm testing out MDM with Desktop Central on my iPhone 4 with iOS 6. I've added the app "Free Translator With Voice" to the apps repository as a test and distributed it to my group. I got the email recommending I install the app, but I have zero apps available in the App Catalog. Also, I had previously added this phone and removed it later leaving me with a blank icon for a second App Catalog - how can I remove this? When I trigger the jiggling icons there is no x on it's corner.

Email configuration for MDM
What are the settings that need to be entered into 'Domain', 'User Display Name', 'Email Address' and 'Password' for setting you an email profile in MDM? I have tried various things and have not been successful. Tried a typical wildcard entry of %email% and it just shows up on the iPhone as %email% instead of having the EU's actual email address.
