Successfully scanned systems still showing as "health not available" in the Dashboard
Let me preface this by saying I'm new to using Desktop Central. I've got a bunch of systems reporting as "health not available" in the dashboard, and about a third of them are legit. However, the remainder have all been successfully scanned recently and seem like they shouldn't be in there. I've poked through the documentation and googled a bit, but can't find a reason why they aren't clearing out. Can anyone illuminate me on this?
Count number of online agents
Is it possible to count the number of online agents via a SQL query? I would like to add this information to our Grafana dashboard, but am unable to find the table that would hold this information. Thanks in advance for any help!
Version numbers and what to upgrade?
Hi, I'm confused at what version I should be running, but I'm not sure how to get much clarification. We reported an issue a while back and were sent a ppm hotfix update which we've applied however if i look in the "whats new in desktop central" part the version I have and the version that is shown is now seemingly out of synch. There's also the fact that if i change the page from normal to add a 1 in i get a different version number. SoM computers more than Inventory computers
In our Desktop Central, I've noticed that when you go to SoM > Computers, it lists around 1400 computers. But when you go to Inventory > Computers, it lists around 1300. Why is there a 100+ difference in listings? Can we add the asset tag/serial number column to the SoM > Computer report? We're trying to determine why the discrepancy in numbers, and how it's affecting our patch numbers.
Deploying Office 2016
I am having a hard time deploying our copy of Office 2016. I am working with the standard version, not Pro Plus, or O365. I am using a .exe file and a .xml file. The goal is to perform an unattended, silent installation with the product key included. So far some of my deployments has shown successful but when I check the target computer I see the software has not been installed. Most often my deployments are stuck "In Progress" and eventually I get a message that some of my silent switches
Office 2019 (Windows) update issue
Hi, My Windows systems have Office 2019 build 16.0.10348.20020 installed. Desktop Central shows patch "27257 Office2019_installer_16.0.10349.20017_x64.exe MS19-O2019" as being applicable to these machines. I have tested deploying it -- office 2019 is updated to 16.0.10349.20017 however the built in update checker (Account > Check for updates) stops working ; checks for updates fail with the error "30182-27 (3)". Systems that have not been updated by desktop central are able to update via this method
Latest Computer Inventory List View
Having progressive irritations with the latest Computer Inventory page. It is way too short of a list when trying to view multiple computers and scan for information. The fact of always being able to see the top bars/menus is nice i guess, but it's much more frustrating than just scrolling down for a couple pages and being able to openly view all of the data that my site sometimes needs to look at. computers with equal names

Hello, I need to create a report that finds machines where: It does not have an antivirus called Sophos Anti-Virus OR It does, but the version is below 10.8.3.441. It looks like version is evaluated as a string and not as a number so I'll need to just list versions and AND them. Dealing with reimaged and renamed PCs
How do you deal with PCs being renamed? I give the PCs a descriptive hostname when I image them. For example, if it is going in cube 243 in the Accounting department, I might name it ACC243 so I can physically locate it it. If I end up reimaging and re-purposing it to cube 122 in HR, I might name it HR122. However Desktop Central will now contain two entries for the same physical box: ACC243 and HR122. Ubuntu 18.04 Clients not Showing any Missing Patches
Hello- We've used MEDC for a while now for all of our Windows systems, so I figured I'd give it a try on the handful of Ubuntu 18.04 systems we run. The agent install went perfectly fine and the system shows up in the console, however after a scan, it shows that no patches are missing and it has 114+ installed. If I run an "apt update" on the client itself, it says that 182 packages can be upgraded. Is there something I am missing?

Google Chrome & 10.0.396: inventory links don't work
After upgrading to Desktop Central Server version 10.0.396, clicking 'computers', 'Hardware', and 'Software' in the inventory tab no longer work when using Google Chrome (Version 75.0.3770.90 (Official Build) (64-bit)). Firefox and Internet explorer 11 work as expected.
Issues after 10.0.395 Distribution Server Stops and Unable to Search in Reports
Ticket # 5388220 After upgrading to 10.0.395 I am seeing a couple issues. All of my Distribution Servers have stopped working. The executable in the bin file is missing and the service will not start. You cannot use the search function to filter in the reporting section. Need this fixed ASAP as I am unable to push software or patches to any of my remote offices!
How could I filter Microsoft Store Apps out of a scheduled software inventory report?
I would like to create a weekly report showing our software inventory of any software that does not have an access type assigned and is not a Microsoft Store app. As far as I can tell Software Type is not a field for software reports and there is no way for me to add Microsoft Store apps to a category that I would be able to filter out of the report. Any ideas?

I want to deploy patches during business hours (7 to 5 Monday through Friday) but only reboot to install the patches (when required) outside of business hours. Is that possible in a deployment policy or will I have to create a deployment policy that does not reboot, then create a scheduled task to reboot?

Automated Patch Deployment reboots multiple times with no signs of update.
Users complain that they are being asked to reboot over and over when applying patches through Automated Patch Deployment. They do this and nothing happens and they get asked again over and over to reboot. I can go to the windows option "Check for Updates" and let the updates go through that and
automatic check for update.
When I click my build version and then click for check for updates i get the message Unable to check for updates at the moment. Try again after sometime.. i am running 10.0.391. is there a site i have to allow for this to work?
Self Service Portal closes after a few seconds
Hi guys, I have the feeling that since the new version of Desktop Central (10.0.386) the SelfService Portal crashes/closes after a few seconds. When I try to reopen it the same thing happens again. citrix patch download
My server can not download the newest CitrixReceiver4.9.600.exe patch from https://downloads.citrix.com/15913/CitrixReceiver.exe?__gda__=1556884353_5e4db8c1d31feb05ca0291217462e29d when i went to citrix website and download the update and tried to upload it I got invalid checksum. I also had issue download the citrix workplace patch. I noticed that the site it is download from is different. Unable to get Desktop Central to work with Amazon Workspace
Hello, We have multiple Amazon Workspaces in our environment that we have been unable to install desktop central on. I'm unable to remote deploy, I just get a network error every time. I've worked with ManageEngine support and done the suggestion of opening ports 135 and 445 but it did not help at all. I am using windows server 2016 and have another management program running, in my experience the two programs will conflict at some point so i just assume virtualize or utilize docker. If anyone has some advice for me i would appreciate it! Will update with my progress.

Desktop Central DS Install locking AD accounts
Every since we upgraded to 10.0.347. when ever we try to install a new DS at a site, Desktop Central locks the AD account without installing the server. The error then reads in Desktop Central "The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to." We can unlock it, repeat and same issue.
