Secure Gateway - Service Running and Ports opened - *But not listening
Hello, Our Secure Gateway server stopped working around 3 days ago and when verifying the service was not running and kept stopping. Hence, installed the latest build 90077 with the correct ports. After installing it, the service stays running but none of the ports are not Listening. (Used Netstat and Port Query) We have double checked firewall rules are in place for ports to be opened but for some reason the service/application doesn't want to listen to the configured ports. Hi All, All APIs provided by Desktop Central will be migrated from versions 1.0 and 1.1 to 1.2 and 1.3. Versions 1.2 and 1.3 are both supported for all API URIs, but it is recommended to use v1.3. We request all our users to migrate to the newer versions as soon as possible; the older versions will become non-functional with the upcoming build releases. Update 10.0.516 OS Deployment Name Change Error
Since updating to version 10.0.516 on Monday the 27th we can no longer change the target computer name during deployment. We receive the error: Failed - The specified username is invalid. We have updated the deployment media and issue occurs with new test media images and previously functioning image templates both. Is anyone else seeing this behavior and have you located a solution? How-to filter computers by similar names under dynamic custom group
Hi! I would like to create a dynamic custom group for a configuration where I would like to exclude computers with names starting with "desktop" (the names are for example desktop-001, desktop-002 etc) because these desktops are different from others and should have a different configuration. Desktop Central SoM Inactive Computers Removed but still Enabled
Hi, I am not sure what happens with computers that have been removed by Desktop Central due to inactivity max days. I just get an alert that the computer has been deleted from SoM. The computers are shelved test machines that are still enabled in AD. When an previously removed inactive computer is powered on the agent re-checks in with MEDC server or it just uninstalls the agent as if manually removed from Som? Thanks.
Active Directory Computer Reports are incorrect
Hi When running reports from Active Directory - Computer Reports - All Computers, my results include computers that have been removed from active directory. I've tried syncing AD with Desktop Central several times, but the number of computers is still incorrect. Any thoughts on what I can try to do to correct this? Thanks in advance.
Patching for closed network not finishing update from internet
Its been 4 days trying to sync the patch database from internet but it never complete downloading update information using the command "patchsync.bat -c updatedb", it always stuck some where in the process, I left it for two days but it never finishes. What could be the problem? Thanks

Downloading PPM last few releases
I've run into a major issue downloading the latest released update/ppm file in a timely manner. This has happened with the last few releases I have downloaded. I thought I isolated the problem to the servers it's coming from. I have tested this with Multiple ISP's/Sites within my area. The problem is consistent between them (ISP or machine downloading the PPM). Previously the PPM file download links on the DesktopCentral website all pointed to Desktopcentral.com with the exception of the latest patch/link
Create Exports for IP Scopes, Remote Offices and Computers
When setting up a Desktop Central server, you have the ability to import a CSV file with information. Problem is, the documentation is not clearly written and thus causes a lot of issues, errors and downtime. When migrating information from one server to another (new server/new hardware), you should be able to export the IP scope and other information in the proper format. Cannot log into Desktop Central
I have been evaluating DC for a little while after the fix for memory leaks in the client. No changes have been made to DC at all recently. I tried logging in today to check the status of a few things using my domain logon. But no matter what it will not longer log in, and the local admin user seems to have gone away too. Desktop Central server not running
Desktop Central web page not loading. Can't even connect with a browser on the server itself. I have rebooted the server twice. MEDC is installed on Server 2016. Version is 10.0.0.479. Upgraded to that on 3/6/20. It's worth noting that the following March Windows updates were installed within the last few days: KB4541329, KB4540723, KB4540670, and KB8900830. remote control, web socket connection failure
Hello, we are seeing this error message a lot while working on remote computers. We will be working along fine on the remote session, then that error will pop up and we get disconnected. We can go right back and reconnect, but this can happen repeatedly making remote support very difficult. Any ideas? WE are using google chrome.
