No domain authentication possible since DC 10.0.603 upgrade

After Upgrade to DC 10.0.603 we are unable to login with Active Directory integrated login - we had to use paswordreset batch to login local
also already tried DC 10.0.604 patch - same result
the error in login page is "Wrong username/password" when trying to login with ad domain credentials
