Desktop Central keep identify patch's although they were installed
Hi, Using DC latest edition. One of the PC's running Windows 8.1 Pro. After system patch scan, I get 33 patch's missing, although they were already installed. Then I get " Unknown Error. Code : -21...", when I try to create a patch configuration install. I even delete the computer and ununstall the agent and install back, but same thing. I thing that a month ago, I had to reset the windows update in this PC, not sure. anyway, I didn't find any way to solve this issue. -Roei

However we are looking at transferring our 6000+ clients to this as well, they all use individual remote offices however is there an automated way to complete this without having to uninstall/reinstall the agent on each machine. Good morning, I started having an issue with java.exe pegging my ManageEngine server on which Desktop Central and ADAudit Plus are installed. Desktop Central has build 90066, the last update I did a few weeks ago. Without warning or any changes to the server OS (virtualized Win2008), or the applications, java.exe started running at 100% CPU utilization. How do I change the default download location for templates? I was hoping it would change when I added a network repository location. I'm not seeing it in the options.

Hi I have an update package i need to apply across or domain for a 3rd party piece of software we are using but i cannot get this update to work. It appears to just stay at the ready to execute state. This is the syntax i am using. A way to see which missing patches have been deployed?
Hi I regularly go into the Highly Vulnerable list and apply patches by machine. When I have a lot of systems outstanding it is very hard to keep track of which ones I have done. The configurations view doesn't show which machines each config has been applied to. Can the machines that a configuration is applied to be added as an optional column in the configurations view? Or is there another way to tell which machines I've already applied patches to? Right now I just end up re-applying them. Rob

Hi One of the computers on my net (Windows 7), when doing a patch scan, and clicking on it to install the missing patches, DC incorrectly clasifies it as MAC, and opens the "Install MAC patch" https://localhost:8383/patchdep.do?actionToCall=deployPatch&configName=PATCH_INSTALL&configType=Computer&resourceID=303&isApproveMissingPatch=false Of course, patching process cannot be completed. I am new to Desktop Central. This is a test environment with one Windows 2012 R2 server where Desktop Central installed and one Windows 7 Pro x64 workstation. Yes, the agent is installed on the workstation. Workstation has 1 patch missing. I downloaded and deployed with Desktop Central Patch Management. I have 125 Samsung android devices that I need to enroll which are going into the field as a data collection tool. Shared Network Printing configuration issue.
We setup this software on a server BIOPDF.com. We shared printing software and have tested successfully. If the shared printer is added manually as a user, the printer installs fine and works. If I try to add the printer with Desktop Central via configuration shared network printer it does not show up. Desktop Central states the printer was installed successfully, but the printer does not show up on the client machine ( in control panel devices and printers ) and does not show up as a printer

Note that the specific concern regarding 'Sandworm' is not longer applicable. The Microsoft patch MS14-060 is now available in the Desktop Central portal. However, the question regarding the manual download of patches for DTC deployment is still a question. I am attempting to deploy a TS RemoteApp that I have created. Manually installing the RemoteApp works properly -- creating both a desktop shortcut and a program group as I defined in the RemoteApp configuration. Hi, DC v90067 on Win2K8 R2. Running the console locally on the DC server. When I try to select an "Organizational Unit" under "Define Target" the "Resource Browser" window appears but I am unable to search and list any AD OUs. I know the AD scheduled synchronisations are working OK because I can see the AD OUs when in SoM as well as all the AD OU reports showing plenty of AD information. Problems creating a new technical assistance case using the DC form...
Hi, I used to be able to easily create new technical assistance cases using the form that is linked from within the DC Support page. However, I am not able to create cases at the moment. Whenever I complete the form and hit the Submit button, the form simply reloads empty. There is no confirmation that the case submission was successful and I receive no case confirmation email. Desktop Central not loading pages
Hi A bit of an odd issue has crept into my desktop central system as of this morning. When I attempt to load DC the page does not load, tried both I.E. or Chrome. However if I am on the server which is running DC or I load DC through the service desk plus integration option while logon into SDP on a PC where it failed to load previously then it loads. When it fails the desktop central icon appears in the top left corner next to the URL and the URL reverts to "http://eukme:8020/configurations.do"

Hotfix 90067 - Lists of Win patches not visible
Wonder if anyone else is seeing this new problem with Hotfix 90067: When I select Patch Mgmt tab, then either All Patches or Supported Patches, I can only see Mac patches. Windows patches aren't showing up in the lists anymore. They showed up fine up until last night, when I applied Hotfix 90067. I only have Windows 7/8.1 workstations, so Mac patches aren't very useful. I can't even think of a way to deploy missing Windows patches at this point, other than using Software Deployment. I have a network consistent of multiple sites - of the sites I admin there are 4 of them which contain Synology NAS Servers using Synology's CloudStation and Cloud Sync which keeps the servers in sync with the same data across all 4 locations. Remote control and chat not working (ver. 90066)
New install and when I initiate chat server shows user is off line. The end user sees the chat box but it is not responding. Remote control using Active X IE 11, the end user gets a box title Edit Connection Setting and fields referring to proxy settings. The box stays visible for about 4 seconds and disappears. On the server side I see waiting for presenter. Actually it appears that all the "Tools" seem to initiate but none of them seem to finish as if the client/agent end is refusing or cannot
Need help with configuration
Hi all, I have installed the free version on our AD server. I then used the console to install the agent on two computers. I created a MSI package, tested it on an old machine and it works, and created a configuration task to send out to the two machines. The problem is that neither machine gets the program installed. view desktop - Not Working
Hi, I am a new user to ManageEngine and have created my server and connected one device. I can see the device and audit SW and HW and display announcements.
