In my organization, i've 2 different model of Mozilla, standard and ESR. In the machines with Mozilla ESR when i make the update with DesktopCentral, The ESR version change in standard version. Configurations reports
Hi, I was trying to look at the Configurations reports for a deployment done while back, however it seems to only show Configurations that are not deleted. Have a habit deleting Configurations when they are done. Is DC storing these Configurations in a log after they are deleted?

Is it possible to approve the patches etc from the Desktop Central Server but have the client actually download them from the Vendors website?
Warranty Soon to Expire - Add 6 months and 1 year timeframes
For the "Warranty Soon to Expire" report, could you add 6 months and 1 year timeframes? The longest timeframe currently available is 2 months. We need to budget for machine replacement 6 months to a year in advance. I currently use "Warranty Expires Within --All--", but additional timeframe filters would be helpful.

User prompted to "Click to skip reboot" but no button is present
After patches are installed using automated patch management, the user is given a countdown clock until restart. They are told that they have the option to "Click to skip reboot", but there is only a "Reboot Now" button. Users need a skip or delay reboot option, similar to Windows Updates, so they are not interrupted if they are working during the patch update window.

Inventory\Software not updating...
I just realized recently that my Inventory\Software list is not updating properly. I have several clients that are registering older software even though they are running the latest version. Is there a way to correct this? Is this a DB issue? Should I try reinstalling the clients on those PCs?

Deploying our TrendMicro OfficeScan to systems lacking the agent we have discovered Windows likes to enable Windows Defender when our Typical solution is not installed. User not appearing in User Logon History reports
Hi, We have a user that isn't showing in our Logon history or Logged on Users reports, even though when on the Computers section of Inventory it clearly shows his user account being logged in on his machine. Automatic Patch Tasks
Hello, Could you confirm the following please: I’ve created an automatic patch deployment task which will scan for and deploy updates to computers every Wednesday at 10AM. I’ve configured the execution settings to retry twice on failed attempts, once on start-up and the other during refresh. Am I right to assume that should a computer be offline during the next scheduled run time (i.e. Wednesday at 10 AM), according to the execution settings, it will still apply the task the moment it next communicates

My probleme is that since the two lateste update 99% of my parc is always in the High vurnarability section. I am not sure what to do. i beleive that it has started with the third party critical updates. please help.
dcpatchmgmt.log have grown to over 6GB on some client comptuers
the dcpatchmgmt.log files have grown so large that it is causing some clients to become unresponsive using all of the Disk activity trying to read this large log file during deployments. patches never get installed and user machines are so slow they can't even read their email in outlook. this has caused us to have to shut off desktop central until we can find a solution.

Wake from hibernation
We have a handful of machines that we use connected to large monitors as presentation/digital signage stations that we would like to be able to have hibernate and turn back on as a scheduled task. For example I want them to hibernate at 6PM on Monday through Friday then wake up at 6AM Monday through Friday. What is the best way to accomplish this? Will the devices need to be connected to the LAN via hard wire or can they be wireless? Thank in advance for your help.

New false positive for patch 15630/15631 (MS14-030) on Win 7 SP1 32/64-bit
Has anyone else noticed in the past few days that a Windows 7 patch released back in June 2014 is showing up as a false positive on some or all workstations: Patch 15630 / 15631 (MS14-030) Security update for RDP vulnerabilities Out of 180 Win 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) workstations, approximately 125 are affected at my site. This was occurring on build 90066 and is still occurring on build 90075 (applied Saturday morning) and with the latest Vulnerability DB update. Thanks.
PC computer name changed to "VM-"<computer name> and DC Automatic removal question
Re-installation of DC on a PC results in DC reporting the PC as : "VM-"<computer name>. I have been testing uninstalling/reinstalling the DC Agent and changing workgroup names via DC. We do not have AD available for these PCs. I have not worked out the exact sequence of steps required to repeat this renaming but I have seen it several times. Desktop Central keep identify patch's although they were installed
Hi, Using DC latest edition. One of the PC's running Windows 8.1 Pro. After system patch scan, I get 33 patch's missing, although they were already installed. Then I get " Unknown Error. Code : -21...", when I try to create a patch configuration install. I even delete the computer and ununstall the agent and install back, but same thing. Good morning, I started having an issue with java.exe pegging my ManageEngine server on which Desktop Central and ADAudit Plus are installed. Desktop Central has build 90066, the last update I did a few weeks ago. Hi I have an update package i need to apply across or domain for a 3rd party piece of software we are using but i cannot get this update to work. A way to see which missing patches have been deployed?
Hi I regularly go into the Highly Vulnerable list and apply patches by machine. When I have a lot of systems outstanding it is very hard to keep track of which ones I have done. The configurations view doesn't show which machines each config has been applied to. Can the machines that a configuration is applied to be added as an optional column in the configurations view? Or is there another way to tell which machines I've already applied patches to? Right now I just end up re-applying them. Rob

I am new to Desktop Central. This is a test environment with one Windows 2012 R2 server where Desktop Central installed and one Windows 7 Pro x64 workstation. Yes, the agent is installed on the workstation. Workstation has 1 patch missing. I downloaded and deployed with Desktop Central Patch Management.
