File Manager poorly designed
1. Date format does not follow account setting - I use DD/MM/YYYY, but file manager shows MM/DD/YYYY and when you try to sort using date columns, it sorts by month first which is totally useless. The rest of the GUI for Desktop Central seems to adhere to my format 2. Cutting files within same volume uses copy/delete and thus wastes time as well as risking a timeout from the browser - a "move" should be instant on the same volume 3. Don't use the word "cut", use "move" - this isn't a word processor
New search in Build 10.0.183
The new search in Desktop Central Build 10.0.183 is not functional. It now requires loading a page and selecting from a drop-down to find a computer. Is there a way to change the default behavior of the search button? Some of the updates are for the better, but some are becoming troublesome.

Is there any way to get a report of machines that have a specific EXE on the computer?
Track an MDM devices mobile data usage
If possible if would be great if you could get a report of an MDM device's mobile data usage. Similar to what you can see in the data usage screen under a devices settings if you physically have the device.
After software removal, software still reads in desktop central as being installed on assets
In our office we've had an issue with Plangrid being auto installed on all the computers and causing issues. So recently we finally worked out how to remove it and stop it from being auto-installed. However, after doing this desktop central still shows all the computers as having Plangrid installed. Doing a scan doesn't change the reading. Reinstalling the agent doesn't change the reading. The only solution I've found so far is to completely remove a computer and then re-add it, only then does Plangrid
Previous configuration in progress
How do you tell what the previous configuration in progress is? I know of no other configurations in progress.
Windows update deployment error: The identities of the manifests are identical but their contents are different.
I have one system that needs a specific update however no matter how many times I try the update I get the error message: The identities of the manifests are identical but their contents are different. I was able to download the update manually and install it, however Desktop Central doesn't see the update as being installed. I even ran a patch scan afterwards. Any suggestions? Thanks -Kirk

All patches that have "http://software-download.microsoft.com/pr/Win10_1709_xxxx.iso" location inside PMPatchLocation SQL table are failing with download.. looks like microsoft blocked direct downloads.. please fix it.. Also why is DC re downloading already present patches in repository? Also why patch for CHINESE Simplified 1079 Win10 is downloading english ISO?
Help, can't turn off Lost Mode.
We have activated Lost Mode on a phone which has been found but we are unable to turn off lost mode on the web interface. When we go to Stopping Lost Mode will disable the device lock. Specify the reason for stopping Lost Mode. type in a message and click 'Stop lost mode' nothing happends. The button clicks but the window stays up on the screen like it didn't actually do anything. We are running Build Version:92302 Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
Patch Severity Settings
Does the Patch Severity Settings get reset when we apply a patch to Desktop Central as we have it setup to our requirements but it keeps changing and I can't find anything within the audit log to indicate that someone has changed it from what we require.
Separation of duties
Hello - New to DC. The desktop team already uses DC to patch workstations. I'm testing it to replace Shavlik for Server patching. Is there a way to separate the patches for approval between workstations and servers including 3rd party patches?

No Support from Desktop Central Team
Our Desktop Central Server is not working since yesterday. This is after enabling OTP option within the Server. Noone attends the calls in Desktop Central. Email support is dead slow. We still have a downtime since yesterday evening and looks like noone is able to respond to us. This is the worse support I have ever faced with the product we have used so far.

Desktop Central silent install using MDT
I am trying to deploy DesktopCentralAgent.msi using MDT 2013. I know that you can deploy using GPO but I would prefer to use MDT. The issue I'm having is none of the silent switches will work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Possible Ransomware
I just got a hit from my security tools on a possible hit on a file downloaded today via Desktop Central scheduled updates. The file name is called \ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\webapps\DesktopCentral\store\dcreplication.zip I am not sure if all of you are getting similar results. It might be a false positive. The file detected was dcreplication.zip (MD5: ccf8ffb8fd51b5baa680261c12fdcfb4).

When my server tried to patch id 23655 it wants to download the prerequisite file. 23662 patch id. Installing MSI file on computer only works as Command prompt 'run admin' or through GUI
Im having difficulty deploying software. Ive desktop central, i have created a package and uploaded the file. msiexec /i "Program.msi" /qn /log c:\swsetup\program-Inst.log It never installs because it seems to bypass UAC that only being admin mode can work. How does the community handle this? What is the standard process of overcoming this situation? ManageEngine Desktop Central 10.0.151

MSI Application wont install properly
hey community, new to packaging and new to manage engine desktop central. I have a MSI file which when executed in command prompt (admin mode) with the quiet commands installs successfully or with the front end GUI run as admin it will work great. msiexec /i package /qn /log blalba.txt When deployed via MEDC, it looks like it installs correctly. How do I restart APN creation
I'm using Desktop Central MSP and have just begun to explore the MDM feature set. I started the 3 step process of creating and Apple APN but, am stuck. After completing the first step, the one in which I enter my company name and email address, I moved on to the second step. At that point I realized that I had typed the email address incorrectly in step 1. Unfortunately, I can find no way to go back from step 2 to step 1 to fix the mistake. What next?

Let user decide when to install patch/update
Is it possible to let the user decide when to install a patch/update? It would be great if the user could decide "Install this update in 5 hours" or "at 16:00h" (when he leaves the office). Is that somehow possible? I do not want the patches to disturb the users during daily work. However, waking up the computers via WakeOnLan during the night is not an option for certain devices.
Desktop Central MSP + ZenDesk Integration
I just sat through a Webinar regarding how Desktop Central Integrates with ZenDesk, and setup a trial of Desktop Central MSP, setup a Virtual Machine in the Cloud, installed and configured the software firewalls, SSL encryption, then go to do the final step of the ZenDesk integration only to get a warning message that the MSP version isn't compatible. I'm sure I probably missed it somewhere in System Requirements. Are there any plans to bring the Zendesk integration to the MSP version of Desktop

Why have a support phone number if you never answer it? Why do I know more about the product than your online chat support techs?
In all the time I've been a customer I've NEVER been able to reach anyone for phone support. Every time I call I get a voicemail. Not the kind of support for software that my School District is spending in excess of $60,000 per year for. While you software is great, your phone support is non existent. I always end up having to use the online chat support, and when I ask a question I always get Vinoth Kumar who always spends 15-20 minutes (and sometimes days) trying to find the answer to my question.
No missing patches, but prompting for reboot
I have been noticing the last couple of weeks that DC is requiring reboots even though the computers show zero needed patches. Any ideas why?
