Hello. I successfully installed a trial version of AppManager on OpenVZ container. But when I tried to run a startApplicationsManager.sh script, application doesn't run. Removing Server Entries
We user Applications Manager to monitor all of the servers at a customer site and us an agent installed on one of those servers to sent this information back to our main console. The customer is going away so we removed the agent and uninstalled it. I am unable to find a way to remove the customer's servers from being monitored in the main console, so I need to know how I can do that. We are using Applications Manager 10. Thanks! Winston

No action on SNMP trap lisner
I have created an SNMP trap lisner in Appl Manager. (The OID i'm lisning for is .1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.159.201.1.3.1 - an IBM Director test trap). I have also created an action: sending an mail to myself. When i test this action i get an e-mail, so it works ! In the SNMP trap lisner have i associated the mail action. But when i send the SNMP trap from my IBM Director, the (email)action NOT executed. I know i receive the trap correctly, because i can see the trap in the alarm page as an "Configured trap".

Hi, I created a execute program alarm: LogserviceRequest.cmd "$MONITORNAME" But once I`m tryin to pass the variable to the batch file, for example with "set arg1=%1", arg1 isn't containing any value. When I run the command from a command promtpt manually: LogserviceRequest.cmd "test1" The variable contains test 1. So the question is how a can push a tag to a variable. Thanks in advance. I'm executing an Action of type 'Execute Program' which calls a perl script. This works ok. example: action: LogServiceRequest "$MONITORNAME" The problem is that i can't pass any tags to a variable in the perl script (for example $monitorname = $ARGV[0];) When I execute the perl script manually, and specify arguments (fe monitorname), then the arguments are passed correctly to the variable within the perl script. After reboot, AppManager will not start
I am working with an AppManager installation (10030) that is monitoring a Windows machine and a MSSQL server. I had not removed the sample monitors (Tomcat, portmonitor, etc) that are created during the initial install. So there were a total of 7 ( I believe) monitors defined. HTTP URL Monitor - Mangled or Incorrectly formatted response
Hi, I'm getting this error with a URL monitor, I can open a browser and browse this page with no issues. I'm guessing it's something to do with the SSL certificate. How can I troubleshoot this ? ORA-28000: the account is locked
I'm using ManageEngine Application Manager 10 build 10100, whenever I try to connect to my Oracle Database 10 I'm facing ORA-28000: the account is locked message. Weird part is it works fine on my Oracle Database 7.3.4. I'm pretty sure my Oracle 10 system account did not locked, as on another monitor tool Quest Sportlight running fine to capture Oracle 10 status. Any idea/solution on Application Manager? Thanks.

Hey guys, i've recently changed the IP of one of the Oracle DB Server. How can i do change the IP in the AppManager? I have tryed everything, even deleted the monitor. But when i add it back, it keep the old IP instead of the new one. How should i proceed? Thank you in advance.
Adding an Apache Monitor Displays as an IIS Monitor
I have attempted to add 9 Apache monitors, but for 2 of them, they always display as IIS servers. Why? How do I get them to display as Apache servers? I choose Apache, and enter the same settings as the others, but they still will not display as Apache. Thanks, Kris
Amazon EC2 Error

Question about sending e-mail.
Hi guys, I've been using AppManager and am having trouble with e-mail alerts. How do I do to AppManager send an e-mail alarm every 30 minutes for example, and the monitor has a poll interval of 5 minutes? AppManager correctly sends the e-mail when there is an alarm and I created an Alarm Escalation rule to send e-mails every 30 minutes if the problem is not resolved, but has not worked.Thank you in advance.
Problem monitoring Tablespace
Hi, I'm having trouble with AppManager. When there is an alarm, for example Tablespace alarming 10% of free space, it does not change, even if the space of the tablespace continue to decrease. If space reduce to 1% free, AppManager is still alarming as 10% free. I'm using version 10. Thank you.

Remove Inactive Databases from Sql Monitor
We have a database server that has been operational for some time. However, some of the databases have been dismounted. Appmanager now generates a critical alert for each of those database. How do I mark the databases as down or otherwise stop the alerts? Is it possible to rediscover the active databases without losing historical data?

Adding managed servers to rebuilt admin server
I have 2 managed servers and an admin server. The admin servers hard disk became corrupt and the server has to be completely rebuilt. The new admin server has the same name and IP address as the old server. Is there any problem in adding back the existing managed servers to this new admin server ? Hi, We use AppManager to monitor various WebLogic managed servers. The application which was deployed in one of these WebLogic managed servers got stuck in a deadlock (application issue) and other managed servers which were part of the same WebLogic cluster also crashed due to this (with out of memory errors). Today I see "Error # The interface is unknown." in our build of Appman 9. Last night there were issues with our ESX hosts, this server wasn't affected by this issue but since then we see this error. I tried removing the monitor, it won't allow me to add it again due to this error. The network settings stayed the same so that's not an issue. Network traffic is passing through the system. Anyone have an idea?

Problem with integraton of vCenter

Hi, I have a problem with the Performance Metric Widget in a custom dashboard. I'm monitoring a custom monitor fetching numeric values through a script. The widget can show a graph when "Show polled data" is selected but if I for example select "Last 30 days" nothing is shown, it say "Data not available for the given values".
