Sorting Bulk Configuration View By Health Only Sors within the page that is currently selected
It looks like Application Manager is only sorting within the current page of paged lists. This is not very helpful when wanting to sort all monitors in the bulk configuration view by their health. Sorting of paged lists of web pages typically sort all content page the results appropriately.
Application Manager 11 doesn't show Threshold Profile
I can't manage threshold profile (Threshold Details isn't shown) after install Application Manager 11 with SQL 2012 (With TCP/IP mode) but with Application Manager 10, It works. Could you please help to check this? Thank you
Remote URL Sequence Monitoring
I am currently looking at setting up URL sequence monitoring using the recorder tool. I can get this working fine from the App Manager server, I however need to monitor the performance of number URL sequences from a number of difference remote locations. Is it possible to replay the recorded URL sequences using remote agents? and then display this info on a single central console?
WMI Monitoring on localhost ?
Hello, is it possible to access WMI on the localhost (i.e. the Windows System on which AppManager is installed) ? If I try to access it using an admin local acount, I get the 80041064 error, which seems to be normal, regarding the microsoft WMI security policy. While creating a new Server monitor, it's not possible to leave user and/or password fields blank, which is required to access WMI locally. Regards. Carl
Viewing all configured alarms associated to an action
Hello, We've been trying to setup AppManager for a few days now and have seen a couple of different ways to set up alarms, thresholds and actions. For example, from the "configure alarms" sections, we can "Total disks %" and choose to associate thresholds and actions. However, if we want to set up a threshold and action for specifically the C:\ drive utilization, we need to view the monitor and click the traffic light button and set the threshold and action there. But.. we can't see both of these

Monitoring HP server hardware SNMP/WMI
We are using AppMan ver 10 (10900) and we need to monitor the actual HP server hardware. For this purpose we've enabled SNMP on the server, installed the HP agents and run a discover using SNMP. This works just fine. Our problem now is that we can't monitor Windows services, just Windows processes. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have installed AppManager onto a Windows 2008 server, and can open the web console directly from the server. However I am unable to open the web console, directly from my desktop via my URL: http://pd-vm-ssi:9090 Error message: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" Are there any settings to enable remote access? Monitoring VMWare with Application Manager 10.8
Hello, My company just upgraded to AppManager 10.8 and I’m looking over the configuration and alarms for VMWare in particular it’s Memory section. Are there any guides or white papers on configuration and monitoring of this. I’m having some questions. For example, If I go to the ESXi host and memory tab, I see options for Active and Consumed memory, but I don’t see an option for Memory Ballooning. Is it Overhead, Shared, VMKernal memory? It’s questions like that I’m looking to clear up. Thank
AppManager ResourceName and ResourceID
I would like like to pull host names and hardware info out of the AppManager database to a MS SQL database for asset/inventory management purposes. Is there a specific table within AMDB that ties the RESOURCENAME to the RESOURCEID and/or potentially the ATTRIBUTEID as well? I am able to remotely connect and pull the tables from MySQL to MS SQL but I am thus far unable to find the link between the RESOURCEID and the RESOURCENAME. thanks!

hi 1- we use app manager to monitor 30 win server that all are remote in separate networks. in "Availability & Health Status - Multiple Monitors" widget we see some Critical alert that interface is down. Like this: "Interface broadcom BCM5709C netxterm II GigE(NDIS VBD client) #2-Qos packet scheduler 0000 is removed" while non of servers manipulated. 2- we use SNMP mode monitoring for this servers. but when we see "Interfaces" tab in each monitor page it show about 20 interface!
URL monitor fails on "accept cookies" request
Hi all, I am having troubles creating URL monitors on URL's that stat with some sort of pop-up bar, notifiing that this site uses cookies, and asking me if this is alright. After clicking on the accept button, the bar dissapears, and i can continue. My url monitor is on defaults, meening error if response > 200 I have also tried to build a ulr sequense for this, also negatief. Hello, I would like to use the POST method in a URL monitor and submit an xml request. A form that the monitored server understands is like this: xml=<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1251"?><product>ProdCode</product> However when I add such string as a Request parameter , monitoring does not work as expected. I used Network sniffer which shows that App Manager seems to delete content between first and last "equal" signs, so that the monitored server receives the string xml="windows-1251"?><product>ProdCode</product>

Hi, I worked with the Application Manager 9.4 and after I update to service pack 10.3 and service pack 10.5 updates then I would work properly. After 6 months I had to replace the OS after re-install the Application Manager 9.4 and got back up again and restored the service pack 10.5 did after I update to service pack 10.3 directly I've updated the service pack 10.9, because I did not find the service pack 10.5. Unable to save Business View editings
Hi all. We are running ManageEngine AppManager build 10800 and we are experiencing an issue with Business Views. Both on existing views and new views, we are unable to save editings. After each change, we are able to click on "Save Configuration", and, on top bar, regulary appears "Succesfully Saved Configuration", but when we click on "Refresh View" we lose all editings and the view returns to previous configuration. hi i had a application manager 9 and upgraded it to 10, i wanted to upgrade my os (from redhat 5 to linux mint(maya)) so i take a backup from application manager AMDB and install a new application manager 9, after this i restore AMDB backup in application manager 9, but i see that i can't monitor any ping monitor and it not show me any cpu usage, memory and …., so i upgrade application manager 9 (with service packs) to 10 and now my problem with ping is solved but it not show me any cpu usage, memory

extremely log URL
Hi, I am trying to monitor a URL that is 729 characters log. This fails, resulting in "Unable to create a url Monitor". Does anyone know if there are limitations on the max. lenght of the URL? This is the only explanation i can think of. If so, is there an alternative? Kind Regards, Eric Bolderink

Hold actions during the night, but keep monitoring for reporting
My goal is to monitor and register full time, 24*7, for use of reporting, but do not want notifications (mail actions) during nightly hours. I have configured downtimes on my adminserver (not the managed servers with the monitors) , selecting all monitor groups available, but they do not seem to work. Mail notifications (also configured on the adminserver) keep coming, and i am uncertain of downtimes affecting reports. I have read in old forum answers that monitoring is disabled during downtime

I installed Application Manager 10 on linux 64bit (redhat enterprise 5.6). But when I access the login page, the default user/password (admin/admin) is invalid. I am monitoring glassfish servers (version 3.1.1) and I would like to configure application manager in such a way that it takes automatic thread dumps when the cpu utilization rises above a configured threshold limit. Schedule Reports after a server migration
Hello, I have a small problem where, after migrating AppManger to a new server, the schedule reports no longer work. The error message is: Unable to connect.Check whether ProxyServer settings is needed. Everything else worked perfectly. Also, running individual reports (from the reports tab) works fine - but reports in the "Schedule Reports" section (under admin) no longer work. I've tried running them manually and creating a new, small test report - but neither work and throw the above error.
