Cannot get SSL to work in ADSelfService, after checking box for Enable SSL Port I Cannot get back into the console
I am trying to use our company's wildcard certificate on ADSelfService and I have followed instructions to the letter, but it never works. Every time I check the Enable SSL Port box in "Admin" console, edit the server.xml in /conf directory, I cannot get back into the console at all. I end up have to revert back to a previous snapshot to get back in. This is getting ridiculous.

Hello, I'm testing adselfserviceplus. I log on on it with one domain user and changed the password for that user. After i try to log on with this user on is computer with the new password i got the "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed" error Is this issue normal when changing passwords? What can be done to avoid this issue? Thank you

Windows 7 with Gina Role with Sophos Safeguard 7.0 Logon wrong.
After installing the Gina Role and configuring the change for the registry I see a huge problem. The gina link works properly but when choosing to log in as a different user "switch user" on windows 7 and click "other user" it prompts for Username, Domain, Password in that order. Normally the domain is the last option on the bottom as a drop down method. Even when putting the appropriate information in these fields I still can't login to the machine. GINA cannot be installed for Windows 10 Anniversary Version
We have built couple of Windows 10 PCs in Anniversary Version, however, some of them GINA does not show on the logon screen. Some of the PC has the following the Key Icon but nothing happens when you click it.
Enrollment error "Your Account has been restricted"
I have one user who is getting an error when enrolling "Your account has been restricted, please contact your administrator". I checked the user is in the correct OU that should get the enrollment email and the user is not getting it. I synced the domain settings and when running the un-enrollment report the user does not show up. Please Advise.
Formatting the email for requesting an unlock
IN the AD Self Service module I have successfully modified the confirmation emails that are sent out and even got the HTML set up in them and they are working fine. I cannot find the setting for the emails that come out when you request an unlock and are sent the code to enter to start the process. Password Reset Acknowledgement email
One of our users was able to update their password via AD Self Service Plus, and then received an email from the system with their new password in plain text. Is there anywhere to modify this email to remove the password from it, but still notify them that their password was successfully changed? (And if it wasn't them that changed it to contact our helpdesk.)
Can I get user to confirm email address for two-factor auth?
We'd like to get our users to type the email address associated with their enrollment in order for the validate code to be sent to them. Is this currently possible?? Any chance it could be added if not? Cheers, Glenn.
Problem with AD Self Service Plus - Get a blank page when browsing to site.
Hi, I am unable to access the site to check but possibly a licence issue from looking at the logs (maybe expired or corrupted). Service stops and starts ok and I am able to provide logs if required. Thanks Jon
You are required to configure Verification Code.
Every new user that tries to enroll gets the error "You are required to configure Verification Code". We have checked the settings and are entering all required information when we try to enroll. WE have tried in IE11 and Google Chrome. We enter a second e-mail address and it doesn't work either.

A user has forgotten the answer to one of her security questions. How can I reset her questions or registration?
"Website can not be displayed" - Loginscreen (Windows)
Hi there, so we have a problem with some of our clients. They get the error message "The Website can not be displayed" in the loginscreen from Windows. If we login and start the ADSelf Service Plus Client directly from the program files directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\ZOHO Corp\ADSelfService Plus Client Software\ADSSPDesktop.exe), it works perfectly. If we call the program in the login screen, it does not work and shows the message below. We've tried to deinstall and reinstall the clients application

Mobile App
We are currently running ADSelfService Plus 5.3 build 5314. Looking at the mobile app deployment I was trying to get to the Mobile App Deployment/ configuration. The page never loads. Using firefox it shows connecting for over 10 min now. Using IE just sitting at waiting on..... I can download the app from iTunes, config and connect with no problem
Alternate E-mail address from AD
In ADSelfService Plus we want the users to be able to send confirmation code to Alternate E-mail address. But we want to administratively control what that e-mail address is instead of letting the user define it. We would actually be ok with letting users define the alternate e-mail address if there was a way to not let them use yahoo, gmail, etc e-mail addresses. Can ADSelfService make use of the proxyAddresses attribute from AD and grab all the SMTP: entries from it? If not what other attributes

Good Day, I am interested in suppressing the Domain Password Policy Requirements image on the "Change Password" tab in ADSelfservicePlus. The complexity requirements that we would like to use within ADSelfServicePlus will become stronger than what currently exists in our Domain Password Policy on our domain. It is confusing to the users when they change their password as they see the default (AD) requirements as their reference and their choice fails the complexity requirements within ADSSP.
Custom SMS Provider mobile number macro format
When using ADSelfService Plus's custom HTTP-based SMS provider, what format is used for the %mobNo% user mobile number macro? Is this E.164 format or another format? For example, if I had a phone number "+1 (650) 111-2222", how would ManageEngine format this number? Would it be something like "16501112222"? Hi, I want to configure that users get 2 admin-defined questions and one user-defined question, but when i change the number, and click the save-button, it jumps back to the default numbers. Is this because some users have already enrolled? Can i un-enroll users? regards, Mieke

AD SelfService client issue
I am having an issue with the client, after it is install and a user tries to reset their password they get the ManageEngine login screen and not the screen with the two buttons on it. I have checked the port numbers and both are set right.
Problems with IE 11 and sessions "Page connot be found"
We are testing ADselfService Plus now and we have a problem that is a showstopper. We use IE11 as our standard browser. When a user enroll and is filling out the secret questions, they might take some time to decide the questions and answers. When they are finished, they press “Update” and get an answer from the adselfservice web server saying “Sorry, the page could not be found” If they are fast (Less than 25 seconds) it works and get there secret questions sett. I have also tested to log on to

Hi - Users seem unable to remember their security questions. Is there any way to see the answers already given? Is it possible to delete the user and force them to join again with new answers? Thanks

Hi, I configured the GPO for the password policy as follows: the settings in adselfservice as follows: when I look at the password age some user have an alert received. I as admin get always the notification email that no reports are available.it will be sent to the user no emails. what am I doing wrong? Thanks for help

Good Morning, I have been evaluating ADSelfService Plus to be used in a Hyper-V Remote Desktop services environment. My users login to their Virtual servers via RDP to get their Virtual Office desktops. Each of the virtual Servers will be installed with the GINA agent to support password reset / account unlock through Logon Screen. This methodology works fine when the user uses Windows 7 but doesnt work with Win 8 ir Win 10. If I lock out a userid by not getting the password correct I expect

We just recently released the product to our users to register. Some have attempted to change their passwords and I'm see a LOT of the subject errors in the Change Password Audit Report. Some are successful, but most are giving the subject error (shown below). I've checked the policy and the root of the domain is checked and the "Don't inherit child OU(s)" is UNchecked. I don't have to select every sub OU for the user accounts, do I? The successful user is in an OU that is under the main OUs

We have this file being run during our login script process and we have the enforce="true" set. However, if a user ignores the prompt and waits for about 10 minutes, the prompt disappears and the user gets to their desktop. Is there any way to either increase the timeout or remove it completely? Thank you.

Logon Page Customizer only loads default page
ManageEngine Team, we have a custom logon page that is working normally. We need to make some additional changes to the logon page however when I load the logon page customizer under Admin it doesn't load our custom page, it only loads the out of box default logon page. Hi, getting above error. Configuring AD Self service plus 1st attempt. On a standalone desktop connected to the same network. Domain registration works, password can be reset/etc. When configuring SMTP Mail settings I am getting this error. Connection security - none. Tested with my own email address/password, exchange. Port 25 example.mydomain.com Telnet to port 25 works fine. Windows FW has been disabled, no other FW installed. Please advise? regards, Raj
