Import user details from a csv file
i want to know how to modify users details using a csv file. i exported the users details to a csv file and modified the feilds i want to , but i don't know how to reimport the csv file after the modification.
Group Membership Organized by User
Is there a way to run the "Group for a User" AD report for each users in a domain rather than continually rerunning the report several hundred times for each user in a domain? Since we regularly audit each users membership to groups, it would be helpful to run this report for each user, then review the access with each manager. Thanks for any help you can provide!
Custom Attribute
Hi, I've created several templates to create users for different companies. One of the differences is of course the e-mail address. We have different recipient policies that check extensionAttribute2 for a specific text. I have added the text in the template for extensionAttribute2, however when the user is created the attribute is not populated. I suspect it is because the mailbox creation process is dependent on RUS. Is there a way around this? I would rather not have to change all of our recipient

Uninstall of ADManager Plus
I had admgr plus v4.1.0, I installed patch 4.1.0 sp1.1.0.ppm, I then installed v4.1.0 sp2.0.ppm. I now cannot run admanager plus at all. infact the entire application is gone from the start menu yet the folder and files are located on c:. I have attempted to uninstall from add remove programs but get the folling message: "Setup has detected an earlier version of ADManager Plus which must be uninstalled before this version can be installed. How can I uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy ?

Is it possible to add a security group to the domain workstations wtih this application? I see where i can add a user to the workstation, but not sure if i can add a new security group to the local administrators group on multiple pc's.

DC's with {servers not operational error}
Dear support; thanks for your help and support, i have an urgently and great problem with ADmanager, i have 4 DC's with single domain, 2 in my location and the other 2 in diffrent location. and alwayes when i add the 2 dcs that in the other location i rec. the error {servers not operational error} which mean that the servers not correctly connected. kindly note that i can ping the other servers correctly with names and IPs. and no ports and closed... please advice ASAP thx

Active Directory Replication between Domains
Greetings ! I recently added a new domain controller to my network using Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 bit OS. There has been a reported problem in gettng an x64 Server Domain to join an existing x32 OS based domain. I am wanting to install a duplicate "copy" the Active Directory on my Primary Windows Server 2003 x32 Domain Controller to the new 2ndary Domain Controller running Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 OS. Anyone have any suggestions on how I might do this without having to create a gazillion .csv
Duplicating Active Directories
I have a network with 5 servers. One of the servers I am converting to Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 edition. In the process of setup, I was unable do to a problem in the x64 software to assign this new server as a child in an existing domain forest. I need to replicate the AD setup on my primary domain to this new 2ndary domain. Anyone have an idea how I can go about it or what software to use to do it so I don't have to make all the manual entries into the system again?

Summary Report?
I frequently run a user and computer account deletions from a CSV file outputted from ADmanager's inactive user/computer report. Would it be possible to have a summary report after bulk deletions? Like 400 accounts processed, 390 accounts deleted, 10 failed. Its not very feasible to scroll through the summary for confirmation.
Incorrect/Missing Domain Controllers
Hi, we have ADManager Plus (5.2.0) which is all up to date. The problem I have is that we have many more domain controllers than I get in the computers, domain controllers report. The computers that are missing from that report are in, just not showing up under domain controllers. Any ideas? Thanks.

Custom Report Question
Hello, I need to create a report which shows who last logged in to a computer on the domain. It needs to show all computers and the username of who last logged in to it. I guess this is done by adding a custom attribute to the Last Real Logon report to show a column for the computer hostname but I'm not sure how to do this/what the attribute would be. SID search capability in ADManager?
Hello. I would like to be able to search files and folders for orphaned SID numbers. By this I mean cases where a userID that had been specified in the permissions of one or more files/folder has been deleted, leaving the SID (e.g. S-1-5-21-82229999-149888222-etc) to show in the file & folder permissions. I don't find this capability in ADManger but wanted to make sure it isn't there and I just didn't find it. Does ADManager have this search capability?

How to put a check in the "Hide from Exchange Address Lists"
Hello, i've poured over all the options thats at hand, but can not come up with a way to do mass hiding disabled accounts from exchage global address list using this software. I can disable, move to a different OU, add a field i need in Exchange Advanced Custom Attributes. But can not Hide from Exchange address list. The closest thing i found was offline address book but thats it. Does anyone have a clue as what i can do? Thank you, Jim
AD Objects accessible by Accounts report for Groups
Can AD Manager Plus search for a group's rights/permissions when using the "AD Objects accessible by Accounts" search? Currently when I run the report based on a group, I get a "No data available for the specified criteria" error, but the search works fine for individual accounts. If so, can you force AD Manager Plus to search just the group's permissions? Or is it checking the permissions for everyone in the group? Thanks! David

I have searched around and could not find a feature like that. Is that included in the free version or do we need to bump up to the professional version? Bulk User Modification - email address
We needed to populate our user's email field with their 'account name' but options only include their firstname lastname combinations. When we used the 'SMTP Format' it populated with the correct username but it added a prefix of SMTP: to the account name, which caused an issue with user's receiving mail from outside our domain. Is there another way to pull just the account name to populate this field?

Group Members report no longer allows selection of a Group
Before running the report, I need to select the Group for which I am interested in finding the members. There is a box with the text NONE in it and to the right of this a button labelled "Select". If I click on this button to select the group a dialog window appears with the text "No Groups Found" appears - despite the domain having about 12,000 groups in it!. Other reports seem to work fine, so the credentials being used for the domain appear to be valid. This is the first time that I have tried
