Custom Script for User Creation Validation
Does anyone have a script that could validate a newly created user's information?
For example, I have a custom attribute field that I want to put the hire date of the user. My tech's never seem to use mm/dd/yyyy format. Is there a way to script an error when they put the date in wrong? While the US seems to be one of the few places in the world that uses this format, tech's from abroad always seem to want to use dd/mm/yy
I currently have the template auto-fill the field MM/DD/YYYY, so other than standing over them when creating every user, a validation script would be awesome. This would also help in making sure they filled out "mandatory" fields that AD Manager currently doesn't support.
