Changing Monitored Dial
Hi Everyone, I've followed the directions on how to change the snapshot.xml file to so you can use different graphs on the monitor page. It works for servers and such, but not for a Virtual Device it seems. I have virtual devices that by default, the template shows CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization, and Network Usage. I'd like to change the network usage to show the pie graph of disk usage instead. I've attached a screenshot for an example.
Monitoring Java processes and arguments
Hello all, I just don't understand : I try to monitor in Opmanager 4 different JAVA processes which have different arguments for each. Everytime the process shutdown and restart,... the processes are still down what should I do ? do I have to tick "path" or not (picture one) Does this process monitoring depend of the ID of the process ?

Hi Team I need your help we want to install the OPManager 8 8722 in windows Server 2012 x64 actually we have the OPManager version x86 in Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Service Pack 2 but the space in the disk is insufficiente so we need migrate the OPmanager to a new server. Configure SNMP v3 for Cisco Nexus 6000...
Greetings, Is there some trick to configuring SNMP v3 on the Cisco Nexus 6000 too communicate with OpManager (v. 10, build 10200)? I've configured the account, password, auth and priv settings in OpManager and set them the same on the Nexus, but I get next to no information about the device in OpMan. Am I expecting too much, or should the hardware tab populate and the utilization dials show information? What should I be seeing if everything is set up correctly? Thanks in advance

I've configured a new monitor to check service uptime via WMI but after updating/applying the threshold values I keep getting the error message "Internal Server Error while processing this request." I can get a (correct) value returned when I test the monitor.

OpManager monitor fails to get info however MiB browser pulls info.
Hi everyone, In OpManager I’ve added ~35 device monitors via template and one of the monitors “Disk Utilization” did not respond to the test request. 5 monitors were added in total for each device and only this monitor failed; but when I check for this OID in MIB Browser – reply received. Unable to upgrade
Hi, when performing an OPManager upgrade from version 11.2 to 11.3 or 11.4 I get an error (see attachment). OPManager DB is on MSSQL. On the same server I could update ServiceDesk to the latest build without problems. Any idea why? Thanks Simeone
Setting up new OpManager
I've setup a Windows Server 2012 R2 with MS SQL Express 2014. While installing OpManager11, I select the database as MSSQL, it keep prompting host or port is not correct.. May I know what is the problem? Also is this combination of "Server 2012 R2 + MS SQL Express 2014 + OpManager 11" in 1 physical server feasible? or is there a better recommendation? Delete Performance Monitor and/or Vendor
Hi there, OpManager Build 11400 How in the world I delete a custom/vendor performance monitor? I've added a new device/vendor and got the OID wrong by mistake. I've deleted the Device Template, but the monitor still there, viewable in: Settings > Configuration > Monitors > Performance Monitor So i thought of getting rid of the new Vendor I've created .... but no such option. Same vendor+OID, different values
hi there, OpManager build 11400 we have lots of HP printers, when querying for OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.43.11.1.1.9 , it returns different "values" depending on the models. On older HP LaserJet 2420, it returns the "unit" value: new toner capacity reads as 6000 current supply level reads 4500 in reality, the user would prefer to see 75% displayed instead of 4500 On newer (sort of) HP LaserJet P3015, it returns the percentage value. Since both devices have the same SysOID ... any advice on how to set up monitors
Monitor name for different vendor
Hi there, When I'm creating new Device Template with different Vendor , why I can't use the same Monitor Name ? Example: we have HP and Toshiba printers they have different vendor/sysOID, but still have the same black toner OID when creating new device template with the Monitor Name as "Black Toner Lv", it pops up a message: A Monitor already exists in that name Does that mean I should start recreate all my custom monitor to something like: HP Black Toner Lv Toshiba Black Toner Lv ?
Reset VM does not work

So the VM is not being reset. login session timout?
Hi there, OpManager build: 11400 Just wondering, is there a login timeout settings I can change? I've just installed a fresh OpManager and trying to configure it. SI've been using the default admin username. Somehow it decided to be "unresponsive", clicking any of the link does nothing. And then I've reload the page and it gives me the login page again. Is this expected? Or I'm missing something here. Thanks in advance!

Workflow - Generate alarm - Documentation
Hi, I'm trying to use Workflow to generate an alarm on a device but can't get it to trigger a notification profile. My problem is how to link the notification profile to that generated alarm by the workflow on a particular device? I've read the documentation on workflow (http://help.opmanager.com/workflow-conditions-actions) and can't figure this one out. I could use the send SMS from workflow but it can't use notification profiles and this is not practicle as we will need to modify the workflow
