snmptrap version2 issue
Hello, nowadays I'm suffering snmp trap v2 problem regarding opmanager. I'm using citrix netscaler mpx10500 as a load-balancer, and want to get snmp trap message from it. When I trying to use snmp version 1, it's ok. But When I chaged snmp version from 1 to 2, opmanager couldn't recognize it. and finally I found some difference with verison 1 and 2. when I execute mib browser through web page, I can see traps (attachment v1.png), but version 2 couldn't (attachment v2.png) When execute mib browser

Reporting isssues with Partition Details of the Device(%)
Hi We use the Partition Details of the Device(%) to give us an indication of the free space, we have an issue where each drive on the server reports the same usage as the the c drive, ie c drive 80% d drive 80% e drive 80% Which isn't the case. It happens on both virtual machines and physical machines. It uses WMI which I have tested and passes it's test. On some of the drives there are mount points. Any ideas? We are on build no. 11400 Andy

Hi i have serious problem, after exhaustion space on disk C, i stop the opmanager service and move logs folder into another disk. Error - Unable to fetch Managed Object details
We have added approximately 40 new devices to Opmanager, however most of them are un-viewable, receiving the following message for each of them: Status Message Unable to fetch Managed Object details for the object :10.8.1.180 We have run RepairDB, this did not work. We have removed the device using the "Quick Configuration Wizard > Delete Device", and attempted to re-add the devices one at a time, still have the same issue. Single Sign-on Centeral - Probe
Hi, i installed 1 central and 2 proble (Windows 2008 r2), the machines are in "Workgroup" I configured the users to use domain authentication with read-only authentication detail, and it works. The read-users connect on central for monitoring the alarms, but when they try to connect to the single device, they jump to probe and it prompt again the credential for login to probe. It's possible no ask credential when users jumps to probe ? And when they logged into proble ... how can they return to central

Hello all, i have a problem with my ip address in Opmanager with plugins appmanager. I have two ip network card in my server with 10.136.1.32 card one 192.168.20.95 card two All devices see the 10.136.1.32 and another server see the 192.168.20.95, but the access to opmanager is through of 10.136.1.32, but with that ip address can not see the application of appmanager. Netflow Plugin Installation in a OPManager Central / Probe Scenario
Hello, I have an OPManager enviroment with one central server and 5 probes around my sites and now I wish to install Netflow plugin as demo to evaluate the solution. My question is in that scenario Central / Probe where I need to install Neflow? Only on the Central? Central and Probes? Only on Probes? Windows Serive Not starting while testing
I have set up monitoring of a Windows Service on one of our test boxes. Under Device Details Monitoring is set to 1 min. Under the Windows Services the box for, Do the following action, if the service is unavailable. Is checked. The radio button for Restart this service is checked. On the server itself the service is set to automatic. When I stop the service, The status shows that it is down in Opmanager. Does Opmanager only restart the service on failure, or should it also start on Graceful shutdown.
OpManager Database connection
Hi, We have a OpManager Installation that connects to a MS SQL database located in a Failover Cluster If I initialize a failover from Server A to Server B OpManager becomes unresponsive and I need to stop the Opmanager service and start it again. We are using Support Center Plus as well and that product handles the failover and work well once server B takes over. This is pretty bad since OpManager is our Monitoring tool ! Do I need to configure some setting to support OpManager in MS SQL failover

Hi, I was just wondering where I can change the number of Polls to be made before status i critical. Default seems to be 5 but I would like to change this på lets say 2 or 3. Tx in advance /Björn

Hi, I have OpManager 11400 installed on my environment. I'm trying to monitor the UCS servers that have the structure but is having problems . I have six UCS in my room , 1 C220 and C210 5 . The C220 is with firmware 1.5 and 5 C210 are at version 1.4. The UCS C220 was added without problems but it does not brings all the information, while the C210 5 the message that has been successfully added but actually are not. Internal Server Error while adding SNMP v3 Credential
Hi, I'm currently evaluating OpManager for a large project and have run into a bit of a snag. We are required to use SNMPv3 for our monitoring. I've set up some RHEL6.6 test servers running the latest Red Hat supported net-SNMP configured to SNMPv3. I've tested the servers remotely with snmpwalk to verify the servers are responding properly. OpManager SSL with existing PFX wildcard certificate
We are happy users of ServiceDesk Plus and currently evaluating OpManager. The technical support team at ManageEngine helped us setup an existing PFX wild card certificate for use with SDP. We are trying to do the same thing with OpManager, but the evaluation support to date hasn't managed to get the SSL working. Can anyone offer advice on how to get this working? Regards, Andrew
Monitoring AIX Servers using CLI
Hi, I try to add AIX 7.1 servers to OPManager but i face some difficulties. OPManager cannot get any data of resources such as CPU, memory, disk space and any other. As i see from the first image below those are the data that use CLI protocol. As i try, test cpu monitor i get the error "the monitor does not respond to test request" but as i test my credentials from server tab, CLI connects with success. What am i doing wrong or what should i check? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Does OpManager WAN monitor support all IPSLA tests?
Hi, I have a customer interested to monitor ALL the possible tests he can configure with Cisco IPSLA. Currently you support ONLY ICMP and UDP Jitter. Is it right? Do you have any plan to support also other kind of tests like HTTP, FTP, DNS and so on? Otherwise the customer will buy Solarwinds that support that. Thanks, Roberto

How to connect Probes to another Central URL?
Hello. Our Central server has completely crushed and cannot be restored. The question is - how to connect all the probes to a new Central URL? We've already tried the following: - Setup new Central server - Backed up a Probe - Reinstall the Probe and attach to the new Central url - Restored the Probe from the backup The problem is that once the Probe is restored, its configuration settings are restored as well, hence it "looks" at the old Central URL. I am trying to enable HTTPS support for OpManager. I have tried the following: http://www.manageengine.com/network-monitoring/help/userguide/enabling_ssl.html But even after rebooting the server and restarting the service, https does not work and I can still only access OpManager on regular http. OpManager in English Netflow plugin in Chinese?
Hi, I've installed OpManager evaluation version and on top of that I installed Netflow plugin. I've dowloaded the latest versions of both applications. I want to have everything in English, but I keep getting NetFlow analyzer plugin in Chinese. I go to OpManager - Admin - Old UI - Jump to - Netflow Analyzer I've checked the language in Windows and in browser neither of them is in Chinese. What can I do to get Netflow plugin in English?
Business View Keeps Breaking
We are currently demoing OpManager in order to evaluate it as a replacement for SolarWinds. We have multiple business views set up for multiple locations. For some reason we are unable to complete one business view. it seems to break in mid creation where we are unable to add any more devices and even though the map has several devices the device count is set to 0. The only thing we can do is delete the business view and start again. However this is our second attempt and the issue has come up again.

Good afternoon all, I hope you can help I have a Windows 2012 box setup as a Central server and 2 CentOS 6.6 Boxes setup as a Probes. When installing the Probes and entering the correct IP/Port in the correct format I keep getting "Probe Registration Failed" back on the CentOS box. Wireshark on the Central server shows the HTTP GET and response, plus a TCP Dump on the Linux box shows communication is working.
