WMI Windows 2012 loging problem
Hi, I have simple but quite annoying issue - when I add Windows 2012 server to Opmanager or (Appmanager) I can't monitor it via WMI as it says "Failed. Authentication failed. Kindly verify the username and password provided.Refer Troubleshooting for more reasons and solutions for them." - password for local ADMIN account is 100% correct as I can log on via RDP. BUT when I use domain account that has admin permissions on this server everything works fine, it's only related to local accounts. Anyone
Last Polled Value of a Performance Monitor
Hi, I am testing OpManager V12 and I'm having some trouble with the "Last Polled Value of a Performance Monitor" widget, if I test the monitor gives me the correct value, however when I add the widget to any dashboard and select the monitor I ant to display it shows no data at all. Request - For Web Farm Monitoring
We use hardware Load Balancers, in front of our web farms. On each individual servers, I have a URL I can go to, to see which server, is actually active. Widgets refresh rate
Hi, OPmanager 12. I have a simple dashboard with 2 widgets, Heatmap and Recent Alarms. The Heatmap widgets refreshes, but the recent alarms does not. Is there a way of making the Recent Alarms refresh? Thanks for your help. Cheers Norbert
Remove multiple monitors from a server in V12
in OpManager V11.6 if you wanted to remove multiple monitors on a single server there was a check box next to each monitor. You could select several and click remove. In V12 all I see is a trash can next to each monitor. Is there a way to select multiple monitors to remove in V12 or do I have to click on each individual trash can and click ok?

Cannot Import Switches into Switch Port Mapper
I am trying to import switches for our network into Switch Port Mapper but am failing in my attempt. I have used the examples listed in the csv help but I am unsure of how to/what is a Tree Hierarchy and the correct way to enter the information. Also when I attempt to manual enter the switch information, it is displaying the wrong task Name. Any help in resolving these two issue would greatly be appreciated. Attached is a screenshot of the missed named Task Names.
OpManager v12 (free edition) can recognize SNMPv1 trap but cannot recognize SNMPv2c trap
I had import the SNMP mib file of a device to OpManager v12 (free edition). I find that if my device set the SNMP version as version 1, OpManager can recognize the trap details. However, if my device set the SNMP version as version 2c, OpManager cannot recognize the trap details and treat those as "No Trap Parser defined". Please help to advise on this!
admin rights gone after migrate from MySQL to MSSQL
Hi all, I migrated OpManager 11200 from MySQL to MSSQL successfully. After migration we noticed that all the domain authenticated users that were admins on opmanager are not admins anymore. even when i delete them and add them again with admin permissions, they dont get the admin permissions. Like when they login, they can't see the admin tab, and they cant delete devices ... etc also some domain users that were there before migration are not listed in the users list, even they are still in the database.

Missing information - Availability Report
Hello All. I have OpManager Build Number 8811 and I´m facing a weird issue. Monthly I create manually an availability report of my devices about its availability on last 30 days, Sometimes reports shows only a couple of days. It seems that information aren´t recorded on database. Only after restart services the data are recorded again, but the missing information isn´t recovered. As long as create the report once a month, I can´t identify when problem occurs. Any idea? I also would like to know what
Permissions to Pick up a request but not assigned
Hello I'm not sure if this has been addressed recently as we are still on an older build (8213). Has the ability to assign a technician the ability to pick up a request but not assign it to other users ever been implemented. We have technicians that like to assign harder request to other techs so they don't have to do them. Thanks you

Is it possible to have alarms trigger an API? Specifically for us, we ust HipChat which allows messages to be sent to the chat rooms through their API. However, we would need OpManager to be able to generate the API string.
OpManager v12 - cannot trigger email by the same SNMP trap for the same device
I had set to send email when recevied a SNMP trap at the OpManager v12. However, I found that if I do not go into the web GUI of OpManager to clear the old alarm, I cannot recieve further email if the same SNMP trap recieved for the same device again. So can I set OpManger to send an email every time when a SNMP trap is recieved? (Even the same SNMP trap recieved for the same device again before I clear the alarm)

I am using OpManager v12 free edition. I had already add the trap processor by loading from mib file but don't know why the recevied SNMP trap still saying "No Trap Parser Defined". Would like to know if I had missed any settings?

DB Migration from MySQL to MSSQL

Which database is preferable for OpManager 12?
Hi everyone, We are planning to upgrade to OpManager 12. Currently there is running version 11.6 on a Windows 2008 R2 machine with a MySQL database. Now we are thinking about which database we want to migrate to. Does anyone have experience with performance, maintainability and maintenance of MSSQL or PGSQL. OpManager doesn't keep the IP Address saved after changing in the snapshot page of the device
Hi, I've got the following problem: The OpManager does not keep the IP-Address stored after I have changed it on the snapshot page. After applying the changes the new IP is correctly shown, but after about a minute, the old IP Address is back again. With the 2nd attempt it works and the IP is now changed. Prevent Trouble Alerts from showing up as Active Alarms
Hi All, I have written a script that runs on a remote Linux box that sends SNMP traps to OpManager. I am able to see the alarms fine in OpManager as the Trap Processor is working. However, my company heavily relies upon the "Active Alarms" dashboard and some of the alarms that I'm sending are important, but not critical (Trap Processor defines the majority of them as "trouble"). Is there a way to either prevent "trouble" alarms from showing up on the active alarms dashboard or to suppress certain

Hi, when a device has an downtime, we fill in the 'reason' in the 'outage history'. In the 'old' look, you simply click on the Availability graph, and at the bottom, you could enter the 'reason'. The read me file for OpManager v11.6 states that the option to monitor VMware devices via ESXi servers has been withdrawn in favor of monitoring via vCenter. Can you provide clarification of that? I have customers that either do not have or do not use vCenter for a number of reasons. Is there no configurable option to monitor VM devices via ESXi in this release?
