Partition Alert Incorrect Infomation.
Hi, we received an incorrect alert information from Performance Monitors, alert shows 113% the partition alarm, This server currently have 992GB free space out of 9TB capacity on drive E. Is there a limitation on monitored capacity for every partition? As how come it shows 113% partition alert. Partition Details of the Device (%) for E:\ Label:XXX-XXXX-02E Serial Number 2cee6fa5 is 113 Percentage, threshold value for this monitor is 90 Percentage
No Windows 10 Support
In opmanager 12 I notice there is no Windows 10 Template. That seems a bit odd. Also on desktops Windows 7/8 and 10 no RAM or HDD details are being pulled. I am using WMI (full domain admin). The desktops are on the same subnet as the opmanager server and there is no firewall etc Bob

No data from agent
Hi all, trying to configure an Exchange Categoriser Queue length monitor but getting this error: NO DATA FROM Agent in big red letters. Our Exchange is 2007 SP3. We're using WMI monitoring. Other WMI monitors are showing data as expected. None of the SMTP queue monitors are working. Looking for a guide online on how to configure this. Any help would be appreciated.

Some servers not showing in Ops manager
We recently installed Ops manager and it has just completed its first scan for a range of IP addresses, some virtual windows servers in the range have appeared and some haven't i.e. ip ending in .63 shows and so does .65 but .64 doesnt? Any help appreciated on this please.

Clear out Service Desk Settings under Add-On/Products Integration in OpManager
We used to have Service Desk Setup and we had an account we used from Active Directory to authenticate to the Service Desk Plus Server apparently. Anyhow, I want to clear out ALL of the settings for Service Desk Plus. I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Also, I thought there was a way to perform a Database Backup in the Admin tab of OpManager, but I can't seem to find that anymore. :( Any help on how to backup the DB would be great.) Jonathan Roundy
Probes not registered with Central Server
Hey guys I am both asking a question and reporting a problem. We have a premium licence for App Manager and Netflow plug-ins which, to my knowledge, we are able to use across multiple probes. However the licence only seems to have applied to our main probe and not the subsequent ones, as App Manager and Netflow appear to be running on trials. I noticed though that on the Central server, only our main probe seems to be connected to it and not the others. Could this be the issue with the licencing?
Linux Install (No Web Interface)
I followed the instructions and set my web interface for the default port 80, but the only thing I'm getting is the default apache2 page. I'm more of a network guy than I am a server guy, so what am I doing wrong here?
SIF (Support Information File) doesn't generate
We have five probes in our environment and on two of our probes, the SIF doesn't generate. The message "Please wait... it takes sometime depends on logs size." appears and quickly disappears and I keep an eye on the /<opmanagerhome>/support folder and the folders for conf, debug, logs and users never get made. Any suggestions on what might be causing that and any quick fixes?
v12 bugs - url monitoring and service monitoring intervals
Hi Checking v12 and have discovered in first look that url monitors wont notify at all. There is even no option for them in notification profile settings. And service monitors intervals are fixed 5 to minutes if they are applied to device however i have set them 1 minute. When applied future changing is not possible.. and seems that service monitor wont go up again when service is restored.. Is there any cure ?
Custom script for fsutil command
I want to monitor the fsutil dirty bit on all the drives of a cluster server, with Opmanager script monitor. I can check this manually with the following commands: fsutil dirty query C: fsutil dirty query F: fsutil dirty query G: and so on for each drive. I get a response of either: Volume - C: is Dirty or: Volume - C: is NOT Dirty I want an alert for any drive that returns a dirty query, I'm ok with setting up a separate script template for each drive, but I'm not great with scripting. Any suggestions
OPM 12 Mount Points
Does OpManager 12 support Windows Mount Points? I have currently setup a test OpManager 12 test environment to prepare for the update in May. But Im noticing when adding WMI Disk monitors that the Windows Mount Points are not showing up.
Rediscover Device not showing my WMI credentials
Howdy, I have two SNMP credentials and one WMI credentials setup in OpManager. I have some devices that have showed up as Unknown for Device type while others show WIndows 2012 or Windows 2012 R2. I also have some that are in the Virtual Device Category while others are in the Server category. They are all VMs so I don't know why some are in one and some are in the other. OPM11v6 can not monitoring Hyper V with WMI
my system have 12 windows server 2012 with hyperV. 10 of them ok, i can see what i want (perfomance host, vm), but 2 remain only see WMI protocol, VIWMI could not got poll. i use wbemtest.exe for test. how i can fix this ? i need support. Thanks.

Hi, We are usding Opmanager build 8723 on a Windows 2003 but we need to upgrade the server to at least Windows 2008. Is Opmanager build 8723 supported on Windows 2008 (32/64 bit). And is it possible to backup and restore Opmanager. Thank you

unable to monitor win7 vm with firewall on.
Looking throught the forum i identified ports to be opened. i opened them and turned the fire wall on and everything breaks. below are ports opened for op manager. i am banging my head on the desk trying to resolve this. only way i can get it to monitor is to turn off firewall. that is not allowed where i work. any one have insite into resolving this issue. CCTV views and real time graphs in Opmanager 12?
Just been playing around with the demo of Opmanager 12 and just have a question about cctv views. In Opmanager 11 we have several dashboards containing real time graphs and business views added to cctv to be displayed on a TV within the IT department. Is there any way of setting up something similar in version 12 as this will be the first thing my manager will ask when I submit the request to upgrade. Regards

Real Time Graphs
Hi all, I have some dashboards added to cctv to be displayed on a TV in the department. Some of the dashboards contain real time traffic graphs. They update well (every 10 seconds) but after lets say a day they stop updating. and they dont update even if you restart the server. they only start updating again after i repair the db ... but then after one day they stop again Please note the attached pic and note the time in the other graph is stuck. Editing Device Template / Monitor OID?
I'm trying to edit an OID to create a custom monitor (or enter it manually, I don't mind!), once selected through the MIB browser it's not editable when creating the monitor - so it uses the table ID, and I can't select the instance. Useless for my purpose where different instances need to be monitored and have different values! Has anyone found a way to select an instance (i.e. edit the OID to add ".1" or ".2") for the individual interface's parameter to be read? Thanks, David H.

SQL query for OpManager
Please I am trying to generate report of network traffic in-flow on an hourly basis and copy this report into my postgresql database. I can view all the opmanager database tables from my postgresql but i don't know the specific tables needed for this sql operation. The tables in database don't bear there usual names. Please can you also possibly send me the required code to do this operation as well.
Disabling MSSearch Service Monitor for SQL Server 2008 R2

I am using build 11600 and the Performance Monitors Dials and Graphs are missing from the API client however, they are visible when I switch to the old U/I. Is there a fix for this?

URL monitoring with custom script
I've discovered that the URL monitor in Opmanager cannot monitor a Sharepoint URL if NTLMv2 authentication is required. I'm wondering if it's possible to achieve this using a script monitor passing credentials via powershell. If so can someone assist with the script? I've been googling this up but can't get anything working? Thanks.
Monitoring the vm disks using only the Host credential
Hi good morning Monitoring disks of VM machines in OpManager? For example the server VM has two disks C: and D :, as I seek information from these using only the credentials of the Host. For if it is possible I will not need to adcioar the OpManager credentials on all servers.
NCM for Cisco ASR 920 and ME 3600-x
Hi, I am evaluating Opmanager for our company.. I added our routers (almost all ASR 920 and ME 3600-x), but they are not added as device to the NCM-Plugin! I tried to add them manually using SysObjectID-Finder (see attachment) and rediscovered the devices - still without success. Btw how do you delete added SysObjectIDs??? Regards,
Process Monitors (v12)
So I would like to track/alert on exact number of instances of a process in process monitor, however the = sign with the value set to 2 and rearm set to 2 causes an alarm. THe instance count report shows as the value of 2. Is the = bugged currently or am I understanding it wrong and should be setting it to something different? Is it meaning to sound the alarm if the value hits 2. If this is the case, we definitely need a != which I found mentioned by ME in another post, but obviously hasn't made

Hello, I have servers in 2 separate data centers which live free of each other for full redundancy. I am wanting to monitor both networks using Opmanager, all servers are Linux and all switches are Juniper. Is there any way to monitor them both while only logging into one instances of Opmanager?
