Prevent Trouble Alerts from showing up as Active Alarms
Hi All,
I have written a script that runs on a remote Linux box that sends SNMP traps to OpManager. I am able to see the alarms fine in OpManager as the Trap Processor is working. However, my company heavily relies upon the "Active Alarms" dashboard and some of the alarms that I'm sending are important, but not critical (Trap Processor defines the majority of them as "trouble"). Is there a way to either prevent "trouble" alarms from showing up on the active alarms dashboard or to suppress certain types of messages from a specific source device from showing up there? I can still use a custom dashboard to display both the critical and the trouble alarms. Ideally, I will still see alarms about CPU, Memory, etc. from the "source SNMP" device.
Thanks in advance.
