Hi, Kindly help me,as i am triying to monitor CPU and Memory for Cat6506 Switches. This gives me following error. E2002: Specified OID is not implemented. Kindly help me if incorrect configuration or from where i can get the correct MIB/OID for abov switches. community is proper.

Monitoring Accuracy in OPManager
Hi, Just want to have a clear idea of what is happening in OPManager. Recently, we're having problems with regards to OP. With some of the servers enrolled in OP it seems that they are not being monitored quite accurately. We've been receiving alert notifications with regards to free disk space, cpu & disk utilization. But upon checking on the server itself, the disk space is still big enough & the utilizations are not that high. Is there something we can do about it? Kindly enlighten me on this
Mib browser still reported usmStatsUnknownUserNames(.1.3.6.1.6.3.15.1.1.3.0) error even the user has already been configed
As title, user has already been configed in my machine and Mib browser. Machine supports SNMP V3 and only SNNP NBI agent has been restarted after configuration, MIb browser can get data from my equipment. Could you tell how I can debug this issue on server side ? AdventNet in my system is in release 4.0.3, any tools can help ? thanks for your help!

Hi, Need help in OPManager. Is there a way to check why monitoring in OPManager is not that accurate? Help with Data move to new server
Hello, I followed all the backup steps for migrating our current data from one server to another. However, the application doesn't want to come back up correctly. Before backing up the Data I installed the new server up to the same build as our older one. Hi, I have tried the guide for the NetFlow to enable it on the IOS ver. 12.4, but it does not seem to work. I've checked the version of the Guide and it is for 12.1. I hope the guide can be updated soon, as this will be such a confussion for other users. A Dell PowerEdge 2950 Server with SUSE Linux 10 installed. I configured snmpd service(net-snmp) to send trap to my OpManager.(trapsink 10.11.0.140 public) OpManager receives coldStart trap on every 48 hour at 9:30 am. Here is the time table. Multiple SNMP credentials
Hi, We're monitoring several linux servers, and require a different snmp port for squid as opposed to the standard snmp monitoring port. We've tried setting both sets of credentials, but it seems from the snapshot that we can only apply one set (and one port) to the server. Rather than forwarding the ports on the server, is there a way we can use different snmp ports for different checks?

Is there a way to setup email priorities so that certain alerts/notifications have different priority levels when they are sent through email?
Setting up for the first time
Hi, I'm setting up OpManager here for the first time and seem to be getting some strange behaviour. 1. I have added 2 URL monitors and while they show up on the Infrastructure Snapshot, they do not appear under the URL monitors and so I can't edit/delete the ones I have already added 2. I have added 2 firewalls and again, they show up in the Infrastructure Snapshot, but they do not show under Firewalls - if I chage it to 'List View' in the firewalls section they do appear there. Am I just using this

Urgent : availability distribution issue
Hello, I migrated to OPManager 8 build 8006. after few days, avalaibility distribution is not working, I can see last 24 hours, yesterday but others are not working. e.g. when I select last 7 days, distribution shows some days but not the 2 last days. if I select last 24 hours or yesterdays, it shows the avalaibility it is urgent for us as management is using dashbords set for them. Bug in process monitor?
I've run into an issue where we are monitoring the number of a specific process on a Windows 2003 server. Initially we set it up to monitor for 100 instances of said process, but now need to monitor a higher count. Unfortunately, when you type anything higher than 100 in the "Instance Count" "Value" field, it comes back with an error that the number must be equal to or less than 100%. I'm guessing it's just a coding error and the field checking algorithm was mistakenly copied from the fields above,
rediscovery doesn't work for interfaces
Hello Gents, Interface descriptions were changed on the switch. I tried to rediscover interfaces. OpManager found changes, I applied 'add' button, but there were no changes. All descriptions are the same. I can delete an interface and add it again. But it deletes all statistics, that's not good. I see these troubles on 30 (!!!) cisco devices. Also I have troubles with Cisco 6500. I re-added this device. OpManager didn't recognize the box. I added a custom OID into template and it was discovered.
Adding MSSQL Server Monitor
When trying to add the monitor to multiple servers I receive the the following error. "80041010 - Specified class is invalid. Problem adding device
Hello I have a problem adding a device. I receive the error message: Entries for the device are either partially added or removed. Is there a way for me not to go to the Jump To, to access the Service desk, the device Expert and the Netflow. When I am in Opmanager I have to select the Jump To and then access the other plugins, is there a way not to do that. Also when I do that it logs me out of Opmanager and then I have to re-log back in.
Error adding notes to an alarm
We are on build 8006 and we are now having issues adding notes to alarms. If a new alarm comes up and there are no existing notes, we can successfully add one new note. However, if we try to add a second note to any alarm, we receive the following error: "Unable to Add Note some error occurred". We have tried doing a db repair and restarting services. I tried searching the forums, but could not find anyone else reporting this error. Any ideas?

Response times and Alias Names in 5028
I have requested this back in April of this year but wanted to take another stab at it to see if you might consider doing the following : 1.) It would be helpful to allow the network monitor list to be sorted by alias name. 2.) When sorting by Response Time, the list is being sorted on an alphnumeric basis when it should be sorted on a numeric basis. 3.) If the system cannot report patial MS then there is no reason to have the response times shown as 4.0, 3.0, 2.0, etc. where the tenths field is

False Alarms
I'm encountering a problem where OpManager reports that ALL devices are down and sends alerts for all devices. This has been happening usually once a week, but I can confirm that no lines are down in the datacenter to cause a loss of connectivity to all sites. When I check the ping monitor, there are no lost packets during the time when they are reported as being down. Any suggestions?

CLI Login Issue
I have an Avaya Call Manager Server that is essentially running Red Hat Linux ES3 that I have a problem logging into for CLI monitors via SSH. The issue is that this device requires an extra step at login to set the terminal type that I cannot seem to encompass within OpManager. We are running Opmanager 8 with the most recent patch with a Windows 2003 Server, MSSQL database. I have attached screenshots of the credential settings for the device as well as two screenshots of the actual login process
Data Not Collected Errors
OpManager, or the response from the server, occasionally misses device polls, setting off alerts within OpManager. Is there a way to set this so it'll take 10-20 misses before it shows the Yellow error message within OpManager. I have to spend too much time cleaning these out when its only one miss every once in a while. thanks.

My small tool can handle only SNMPv1 trap, does Windows send SNMPv2 coldStart trap ?
